My communication leading up to our stay with Peter was also wonderful, super nice owners. The only thing i could mention is that the bed pillows were too soft for me but that’s a personal preference.

I made do with a washer.

• Sus (9/5): Lovely place. Thanks for allowing us to stay. - Lovely location close to Anvers winery where we had a wedding. Peter was very welcoming and helpful. Generous breakfast and great value for money. Nitpicking but a couple more cups and glasses would be great.

Location on Booking.com is not acurate host actually send very confusing directions via message the day of arrival if you follow Booking.coms directions you will arrive at a beautiful Cherry Farm which is not it Bed very uncomfortable Linen in need of renewing matress old you fall into the centre. No parking has to park between 2 stitcks on the road in a culdesac. Bottles of Orange Juice in the fridge we shook one to mix it up and the lid flew off revealing the bottle had been previously opened and refilled . Not up to scratch we were expecting a lovely country experience with country style breakfast provisions didnt happen wont be back!!

• Kevin (5/5): It was disappointing that someone went into the room whilst we were out. We knew this because the yogurt had gone out th - It was like a very small motel room. No cooking allowed. Milk for tea and cereal but only a small jug enough for tea, so we couldn’t have the cereal. Eggs but only a microwave to cook them with no instructions so that was out.

Electric blanket on bed was a nice tough to feel cozy. Walls are thin to the a joining house so could hear noises and voices. But owners weren’t too noisy.

Had everything we needed - was very clean and we had great views across the valley. Had a small deck attached - so perfect spot to sit with a bottle of bubbes and enjoy the 'Ambience' We only stayed for one night.

The studio was very clean and the little tour of the studio that Christine gave was lovely. The location was great, and you could travel to various places in the hills within 10 minutes. The studio exceeded our expectations and we found nothing wrong with it.

• Judy (8/5): Private, comfortable, convenient. - The small studio apartment is a self-contained part of the owners' house. However, it has been carefully constructed and decorated to absolute provide privacy and comfort for visitors. it was immaculately clean, with all amenities. Upon arrival, we were made to feel very welcome by owners Peter and Christine, and we enjoyed the yummy breakfast provided for us to prepare in the morning. It is close to the local pub for dinner, and conveniently located to explore nearby Hahndorf and other tourist attractions of the Adelaide Hills. Highly recommended. It was great!

• Keith (10/5): Exceptional - The facilities were excellent, extremely comfortable and the host & hostess went beyond what what was expected to make our stay enjoyable. Keith is 86 and mobility challenged. He was having a very bad , nut Peter the host bent over backwards to help him. We would recommend Studio Echunga to all or friends looking for aagnificent weekend stay in great surroundings. There was nothing wecouldcritcise or dislike.

• Gemma-louise (10/5): Quaint, clean, cosy, well equipped studio in peaceful surroundings with wonderful hosts. - Peter was unbelievably friendly and helpful, he helped us with our bags, explained everything in detail and could not have been more accommodating. It felt like how things used to be, politeness and human connection making our stay so comfortable, instead of stark and impersonal which is what we’ve come to expect. He even gave us a recommendation for dinner, which turned out to be excellent (The Barker, food was exceptional!) The studio is so well equipped, it literally has everything from an egg cooker to dressing gowns. The addition of Netflix was lovely given that we had a huge downpour so being outside wasn’t desirable. There is a bbq on the deck for warmer days and the deck overlooks a lovely plot of green grass and trees. Breakfast supplies were abundant, cereals, fresh fruit, avocado, eggs, bread, freshly squeezed orange juice! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the sheets felt cosy and soft. Thanks so much for a peaceful night away!

Ideal base for exploring as many of the Adelaide Hills attractions were within 15-20 minutes drive. Hosts were very welcoming and responsive to all our communication. Nothing.
• Leigh (9/5): A lovely stay in a beautifully appointed studio! - A friendly greeting from the owner. The view from the studio was lovely. The beds were comfy and the studio well-appointed. The owner of the venue offered to 'let himself in' while we were out and put on the outside lights for our return which was a lovely gesture, although we weren't keen on the thought of someone being in the room while we were out. Putting the lights on a timer or sensor might be a better option.

• Swati (10/5): Excellent Echunga accommodation! - Great location and very clean and comfortable accommodation. I was concerned with the on street parking but it was a quiet place and safe spot so it was all good.
• Kily (9/5): Unfortunately my stay was short, the accommodation was so lovely and had everything you could want. - I enjoyed the juice and fruit for breakfast as I usually only have a coffee. Due to the extreme heat the area was experiencing I would have loved the aircon put on approx 45 mins earlier than my arrival time as it took a little time to cool the room.

• Victoria (4/5): I felt uncomfortable and unsafe staying here as the owner kept letting themselves in. - The room was clean and breakfast was in the fridge. The owners kept going into our room everytime we popped out. Even after I told them not to and that we didn't need anything refilled (fruit, towels) they still went in and moved our things around while we were out. I even put a sign up on the glass door asking them not to come in, as we went out for the night. We came home and they had gone into the room again. I had taken photos before leaving as I was sure they would go in again, and when I went back things had been moved. They also knocked on the door multiple times while I was trying to get ready, even going to let themselves in before I could get to door. They asked me if I wanted fruit, which I said no, and wanted to talk to me about the weather.

Included Brekky and coffee was a nice finishing touch on exit. For a big lad the bed was a bit short, but still fine for a short stay.

• Russell (8/5): Very good - Clean comfortable and nice surroundings. Only a short distance to My Barker and Hahndorf. Hahndorf is a great tourist attraction. Facilities had everything for a short stay and the hosts were welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and also nice set up for a movie night in watching Netflix which was provided as part of the cost. Enjoyed the stay. Wasn't a major issue, but payment will actually be by direct deposit to their bank account which we didn't know until we got there.
