Jan (9/5): Vriendelijke gastheer, lekker ontbijt. - Locatie, netheid, parkeermogelijkheid, ontbijt. Het interieur is een beetje gedateerd.
JANE (10/5): Absolutely perfect, exceeded our expectations, so relaxing and a wonderful host. - It was spacious, clean, plenty of room to hang clothes and airy. We had use of the lounge and dining room space as well as our bedrooms. We had two toilets we could use. The outside space was absolutely gorgeous with amazing views, plenty of seating and the lovely sound of a water feature. The breakfast was fantastic with warm bread and pastries, lovely selection of ham and cheese, fresh orange juice and good quality cooked food. We were able to eat outside on the terrace which was perfect. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Porlock (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location. Very comfortable with big bed. Lovely breakfast. Sat outside in the evening, overlooking the citadel, watching an owl flying around. Jean-Phillipe was very pleasant as was his friend, Pablo,, who met us when we arrived. Best cafe was Lupe Vert in Bouvignes-sur-Meuse. Nothing.
Daria (10/5): Fantastic hospitality and great views - I can only recommend this accommodation. The locations is marvellous, with a view of the citadel and the cathedral. The house is located slightly above the city, so the view is spectacular, and it's also very quiet and peaceful. Although we came by public transport, it was only a short walk uphill to get there. The room we got had a huge double bed, everything one needs for a stay, and there was also a beautiful dining/living room where one could spend more time if the weather were worse. The minibar with snacks/drinks available for a rather small price was also a welcome detail. The breakfast was very nice and more than enough, with fruit, bread, pastries, cheese and ham, and eggs. Finally, the owner is an exceptional and discreet host. He even went to the trouble of looking for some vegan options (which is hard in the Ardennes region!) and gave us good tips on hikes and sights to visit. We will happily return again.
Ilona (10/5): Lovely stay - I love the cosy feel of the place, you get two beautiful rooms, an amazing view and a nice garden/terras to chill out on. The host is amazing, he made us feel welcome, he was super friendly. We also loved the cat (she was only in the garden and didn’t have access to the facilities) If you walk into to the center and back up, you better prepare stamina 😂👌🏻
