Guest Reviews
- Albert (1/5): Il n'y a pas eu de séjour, c'était fermé. -
- Paula (1/5): Bad - - They cancelled the booking just hours before check in
- Georgina (8/5): Regis is a kind & considerate host. - Excellent breakfast from Regis. Boiled eggs, toast, bread, cheese, jams & coffee. The room & bathroom were very clean with ample towels, soaps provided. The bed was comfortable & the room warm. There was a blinking street light outside which affected my sleep. Regis might consider thicker curtains to block the street light. I did mention this to him.
- Michael (10/5): Pleasant stay in a nice location. - Excellent location close to Brussels Metro, well working WiFi, nice breakfast, very friendly host and excellent price-value ratio.
Exceeded my expectations. N/A
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good -
- Mustepha (1/5): Bad -
- Priyan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Murat (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bagus (7/5): Good -
- Cyril (7/5): Nice host - Location
- Zsolt (9/5): Quiet and comfortable room at the end of the metro - Regis is a great host. It offers a corner room, which is quiet and comfortable. The suburban atmosphere of Stockel is quite different from downtown Brussels: it is calm and you can find excellent restaurants in the area. But the metro takes you to the city center in seconds. Regarding breakfast, we agreed with Regis that the nearby Match serves an excellent breakfast, so I used it instead. The room is equipped with a refrigerator, so you could even eat in, but some cutlery would needed. -
- Filip (10/5): Nice apartment in the suburbs of Brussels in the quiet location - Nice location for a short weekend trip to Brussels - the apartment is a few metres from the metro station & supermarket. Several restaurants are next door. The metro trip to the Brussels main square takes only 15 minutes. Régis (landlord) is really a nice guy ready to help you with everything. If we come back to Brussels we will stay again in this apartment. Everything was perfect for our stay.
- Abdul (3/5): Poor -
- Ema (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maksims (8/5): Very good - For a budget adventure in brussels, it was a great place to stay. Everything we needed was near the apartment(metro,markets,cafes...) Toilet was not in the same room we stayed.
- Dirk (7/5): Good -
- Wendy (10/5): The room was traditional, plenty of space, breakfast was plentiful and at a time to suit you, Regis makes the place, he - Regis, was a wonderful host, there for all your needs, but with the privacy you want, nothing was to much trouble.
- Ying (8/5): Overall was a pleasant stay - good breakfast, served in the room by the host. old apartment room but you got everything you need
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Our host Régis is a gem of a man who looked after us so well. The location is located in the heart of Stokkel village which is at the end of one of the metro lines and is a 40 to 50 second walk to the front door of your accommodation. You ring the bell and he comes to greet you. The room is bright very clean and inviting, big windows allow you to look over the neighbourhood. In the morning, our host Régis cooks a wonderful breakfast to get you started The metro is located inside a small shopping mall, there is a very well stocked supermarket and various other stores as well. We found the area a delight to stay with plenty of cafe's, restaurant right outside the front door, also a laundromat is located right next door. Because of the surrounding we thought perhaps it would be noisier, to our surprise it was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would have loved to stay longer it was perfect for our needs.
Régis is a wonderful host, who caters and cares for his guests and when we come back to this side of the world we will definitely be staying here again...only longer! Thank you Régis.
- Tom (9/5): Superb - ・Hospitarity
・Location (There are a lot of shops near the hotel. Metro station is very close to the hotel.)
- Nina (8/5): Very good -
- Lothar (10/5): Exceptional - Regis was a fantastic host and did everything possible to make us feel welcome. It is not a five star hotel but Regis matched the service with his kindness. The breakfast was very individual in a city atmosphere.
- Maksim (3/5): Poor - Location and value of money are great This is a room in the apartment with shared WC (shower is separate and private). You will actually live with the host, who is very friendly but has problems with drinking (we were staying for 3 nights and he was always drunk/strongly hangovered). The smell in the apartment is outrageous (hangover and smoking of the host).
- Thea (9/5): Superb -
- Igor (9/5): Superb - hospitality, easy access to Metro.
- Poufke (8/5): Very good - Perfect location i n the Dumon square with all shops and restaurants, not to mention the metro station literally seconds away. Room is large and comfy. Host very friendly and helpful. Bathroom needs some renovation. It looks like it's time to rebuild it completely.
- Clifford (7/5): Good -
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - The host rez was amazing goes out of his way to please and make you comfortable.
He's awesome. Close to public transport.
Clean and tidy
- Waguih (8/5): I will visit again. - The location is excellent and accessible by public transportation. Furthermore, there are grocery markets, laundry, coffee shops, and restaurants that can be accessed on foot within a few minutes.
The apartment has good vibes and Regis is a great host.
If we visited Brussels again, definitely we will stay there. The building and furniture are old-style and require some renovation. The apartment has only a private bathroom, while the toilet is located in the common area which has an impact on privacy.
- Ai (8/5): This is a small apartment. Owner - Regis is friendly & helpful. Breakfast will be served in the room - Small apartment felt like our home.
- Richard (9/5): If you prefer to stay away from the touristy areas I would recommend Le Dernier Metro! - Régis is a wonderful host. The room was very warm and cosy. Lots of helpful information. The included breakfast was really excellent with more jams and spreads than I can remember.
- Selizen (1/5): Bad - Anything We were met by the owner of the apartments, who was drunk. In the corridor on the landing was a terrible smell of the toilet. The apartments did not match the declared description. The area was very small, not 80sq.m as indicated in the description. The toilet was in the common corridor with the owner’s room and was completely tiny. The room had a musty smoked smell. Which the same time, many candles burned everywhere around the apartment. Which had an unpleasant smell of burning and was fire hazard. Such a number of candles was needed to provide lighting, as Electric lighting did not work. Electric lighting was only in the bathroom. Declared: TV, toaster, coffee machine, washing machine, stove, kitchen utensils we did not see.The whole furnishings is very old, requiring repair, in unsanitary conditions. We were forced to urgently find other housing and leave these apartments, because It was impossible to be in them. We reported this to the owner and asked for a refund. He promised, but still has not returned the money. This is a fraud against customers, the provision of false information and housing with a risk to life and health.
- Henry (9/5): Superb -
- Jorge (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kai-siang (9/5): Superb -
- Rada (7/5): Ok for a few nights in Belgium - Close to the metro station. It was a bit cold in the first two nights. We asked Regis for a second blanket which was fine and also is was warmer in the room.
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Adrian (5/5): Passable -
- Tquinlan (10/5): Charm over Stockel - The bedroom is utterly charming, the breakfast was great (particularly the eggs). A wonderful short stay at the end of the line!
- Grant (8/5): Very good - Regis presented us with a wonderful breakfast each morning. Truly went out of his way to make us comfortable. The freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing! Regis was kind and personable. He was a joy to talk with and treated us like family. We appreciated his kind hospitality. Thank you Regis! No complaints, everything was great!
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Very nice room close to the metro (20 min approx. to Brussels Central). Regis is a great host!
- Niccop (9/5): Superb -
- Ainars (10/5): Welcoming owner, great value - The owner took great care of welcoming and providing excellent coffee and fresh breakfast. Excellent value for money
- Arda (8/5): A pleasant stay for one night and Regis was very friendly and offered a generous breakfast - Great location and excellent breakfast More lights/ signs on the door to indicate the number (it was hard to find).
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Theo (2/5): No recommendation! - The location and the possibility of free parking, even if it was not possible directly at the accommodation. The provider has made false statements about essential equipment features. It should be 80m2. We estimated that it is only 50m2. There should be a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, cooker, sink and kitchen utensils. There wasn't. There should be a flat screen TV with DVD player. There wasn't.
We contacted the landlord about the missing equipment. The reason given was Covid19, which is unbelievable after 2.5 years of pandemic. Does Covid19 make the flat 30m2 smaller and remove the kitchen?
Furthermore, there was a smell of cold smoke coming in through a study of the landlord. The mattresses were worn out and not up to date. The bathroom fittings were calcified and sticky.
- Koji (9/5): Remorable stay! - Regis’s hospitality and great breakfast! Excellent location. Just 1min. from the station, supermarket.
- Armands (9/5): Superb - Owner was very easy to communicate, we where able to have an early check in since we arrived to Brussels early morning.
The location is perfect. Very nice area and good breakfast.
