• Ben (8/5): Nice quiet place for a short stay - Slightly out of the centre so nice and quiet, roughly a 20 minute walk to the middle of Bruges, but within the canal circumference. Clean, large rooms but very warm at night. A few mosquitoes around too, worth getting a spray (this was May). Bedrooms were too warm, even with windows open and heating turned down.

• Claudio (10/5): La mejor estadía por lejos en europa. - Espectacular todo, un desayuno exquisito, todo muy bien. Todo me gustó, la ubicación es a minutos del centro histórico pero vale la pena completamente recorrer a pie.

• Leanne (5/5): Good sized room although not up to expectations. - The host was very friendly and we had a good sized room. The property was quite a walk from the town centre, did not include all the facilities that were advertised (eg there was no bath) and there was mould in all of the grout between tiles in the shower and outside the shower. There were no tea making facilities in the room and we weren’t allowed to bring a cup of tea to the room.

• Daniel (8/5): Sehr zu empfehlen - Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber, es ist sehr ruhig im Haus, die Gastgeberin ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war reichlich und lecker. Das Zentrum ist fussläufig in 15 Min. zu erreichen. Ganz in der Nähe der Unterkunft kann man kostenlos parken.

• Osama (3/5): Not a great experience and tricky logistics just for a simple check in! - Old vintage furniture. Very confusing check in. Keys left in randomly on a table without any guidance. One set of keys had a name and another didn’t. So I messaged to clarify and was told the keys with name so I took the key then looked in portal and was completely different room. So went down again to return and take other keys then was told once again not right keys!! And excuse was new system!! Not great experience and also the mattress was caving in and there was hardly any pressure in the shower! Not a great experience overall!!!

• Dimitrios (6/5): Μια διαμονή με θετικά στοιχεία, αλλά τελικά απογοητευτική λόγω έλλειψης ζεστού νερού και μηδενικής ανταπόκρισης από το κ - Το δωμάτιο ήταν όμορφο, η τοποθεσία πολύ καλή και το πρωινό αξιοπρεπές. Το check-in επίσης ήταν εύκολο, με κωδικό που στάλθηκε εγκαίρως. Δυστυχώς, υπήρξε σοβαρό πρόβλημα με τη διαμονή, αφού δεν υπήρχε ζεστό νερό το βράδυ. Επικοινώνησα άμεσα τόσο μέσω της πλατφόρμας κράτησης όσο και μέσω WhatsApp, χωρίς να λάβω καμία απολύτως απάντηση. Το επόμενο πρωί μας είπαν απλώς ότι είχε προκύψει βλάβη. Το γεγονός όμως ότι δεν υπήρξε καμία ανταπόκριση όταν το πρόβλημα συνέβη, παρότι το μήνυμα είχε διαβαστεί, είναι απαράδεκτο. Η έλλειψη επικοινωνίας για ένα τόσο βασικό θέμα, μαζί με την απουσία οποιασδήποτε αποζημίωσης ή έστω μιας έμπρακτης συγγνώμης, επισκίασαν πλήρως τη διαμονή. Το κατάλυμα έχει δυνατότητες, αλλά η εξυπηρέτηση σε μια κρίσιμη στιγμή ήταν απογοητευτική.

• Isobel (10/5): We had a brilliant short stay in Bruges - saw all we wanted to, and enjoyed staying in this B&B. - Our host was wonderful and did everything to make sure that our stay was really positive. the house was clean, the breakfasts were delicious, beautifully prepared and well presented, with some lovely homely touches. the bed was very comfortable and we had all that we needed to shower etc. The location was quiet and peaceful, and a short walk to the centre of town - but do wear flat shoes!! The number 1 bus took us from the station to the house and back to the station again at the end of our stay, giving us a wonderful circular tour of Bruges. Thank you to our wonderful Ukranian hostess. Nothing
• Kristie (1/5): This place was Dark, locked and a pain in the butt so we booked elsewhere! - I didn’t like anything- I truly never give a bad rating, but this time I feel I must. When my son and I arrived from the train it was about 7:00ish. The b&b was not anywhere near central to start- so after a long walk we arrive to find it locked up tight and dark. No code was sent to me to enter-so there we stood. After several attempts to get the code or something from someone we finally did. And that’s it- we got a code. Once we entered it was to a dark hall with no instructions. There was a room that said check in- but door was closed and Dark as well. So I reach back out to the person who sent the code and they tell me to go in the room . At this point I’m getting mad. This is messy and not at all what I expected. So sure enough in that room is a key and part that says my name and #2. If you guess that’s the room you’d be wrong too. The guy I talked to said room 1- yeah that’s not it either (there are only 3 rooms) so we try the one on the 3rd floor- ding ding!! That’s it. We walk in to find a full bed with rose petals. Which would be just funny if that’s not all the room had(maybe a chair too) but we asked for twins. It’s my adult son and I so yeah this bed won’t work. We attempt to pull bed apart and it isn’t moving for us. Also, this isn’t really my job to throw my back in it at a place I paid for- but we did try. At this point I’ve had enough and it’s getting to the point that if we have any hope of dinner we need to go eat. So I book another hotel more in the center and go grab food. This is the time my phone starts blowing up with the person telling me they are there and fixing the issue. Sorry, it’s too late when you are traveling you don’t have time to sit around and wait for someone to decide to come and fix something. A couple minutes sure, but this was not quick, and we got fed up. Save yourself and don’t book this mess of a place. I’d say we hit them on an off day, but if the place is locked up tight and dark at 7:30pm I’d say it’s the way they do business. No thank you.

Irina è stata una padrona di casa eccezionale, simpatica, felice e sorridente, ospitale e gentile, sempre pronta all’ascolto. Non avremmo potuto chiedere di più. • Christian (9/5): Sehr schönes Zimmer mit individueller Einrichtung in schönem alten Haus am Rande des Zentrums. - Schönes altes Haus mit liebevoller Einrichtung. Alles wirkt sehr gut durchorganisiert. Das Frühstück ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Das Zimmer ist mit alter Ausstattung und Möblierung sehr stimmig eingerichtet. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir würden auch gerne wieder kommen. Leider macht die Kaffeemaschine keinen guten Kaffee. Evt. hilft eine bessere Einstellung des Mahlgrads (ist nach meiner Meinung viel zu grob, Kaffee ist schwach und plätschert viel zu schnell aus der Maschine). Die Gastgeberin ist zwar sehr freundlich und bemüht, ist aber auch ein wenig anstrengend (redet sehr viel).

• Lilo (9/5): Eine sehr schöne, ruhige Unterkunft - Das Frühstück war sehr gut.Der Service sehr freundlich und flexibel. Der Frühstücks Raum ist hell und angenehm. Da es nur drei Zimmer in der Unterkunft gibt , ist die ganze Atmosphäre ruhig und sehr entspannt, was nach dem Touristen Trubel im Zentrum sehr angenehm ist. Eigentlich nichts !
• Malorie (10/5): - L’établissement est dans un lieu calme situé à même pas 3 minutes à pieds du canal et d’un parc. Le centre de Bruges est à 15 minutes à pieds. Le déjeuner compris est succulent et copieux. L’état de notre chambre était parfait très propre. Merci à Irina pour son accueil très chaleureux et tout en humour. C’est une très chouette personne et c’est une adresse à laquelle nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
• VIOLA (4/5): Overall, we expected more based on the great reviews, it was a big disappointment. - The location was great for walks, near the mills and not that far from the historical center. The inner courtyard was nice and quiet, it was possible to sit and relax. There was a lot of dust in the room, very unpleasant for allergy sufferers. The mattress is not fixed, so it slides during the night, which is uncomfortable. Access to the rooms is only possible via narrow, steep stairs, which is not warned about on the website. And it is not allowed to go upstairs in shoes, they are to be left in a dirty shoebox under the stairs. The property is really unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast is only available for one hour between 8:30 and 9:30. We arrived a little early so we were not very kindly reminded to come at the exact time, the problem was that the hostess was still not ready at the appointed time. The hostess was not very friendly overall, she was not able to communicate properly in any of the world languages, and at the same time she behaved aggressively and was not tolerant of the needs of the guests.

• Chiara (9/5): Soggiorno molto piacevole, ci siamo trovati davvero bene. - Soggiorno davvero eccellente! Ci siamo trovati molto bene sotto ogni aspetto. La posizione è super centrale: in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiunge il Grote Market, comodissimo per visitare la città. La stanza era ampia, curata e i letti estremamente comodi. La colazione è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa: molto abbondante e servita in un’atmosfera intima e rilassante. Il fatto che la struttura abbia solo tre stanze fa davvero la differenza, perché permette allo staff di dedicare un’attenzione speciale agli ospiti. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremmo senza esitazione! Unico piccolo aspetto da tenere presente è l’assenza dell’ascensore, quindi è necessario utilizzare le scale, che non sono particolarmente comode.

• sharn (7/5): It was pleasant but overpriced for what it was. - The bathroom was lovely with a double sink. Irina was lovely and welcoming. Said I was a vegetarian and didn’t eat meat or fish and salmon was put on my plate, also was given old stale cheese it was hard and dried out and hair was on the plate. One of the breakfast staff wasn’t very friendly she never even introduced herself and was very abrupt and asked me not to waste food even though I hadn’t apart from the stale cheese which was inedible. There was no toaster to use so had to ask her to make some which she didn’t seem happy about she also assumed I was staying with my husband and asked if he was joining me for breakfast!! I was there with my daughter for my birthday but she didn’t even bother to ask who I was with.

Koffiezetter of waterkoker op kamer zou fijn zijn. Je kan beneden koffie pakken maar mag dit niet meenemen naar je kamer ( begrijpelijk gezien de bekleedde trap). Parkeren voor de deur is duur. Parkeren rondweg is gratis maar was zeer beperkt plek toen wij er waren ( moesten ver lopen).
