Sophie (10/5): Exceeded expectations - wonderful stay - The booking far exceeded our expectations. We have not booked a B&B before however the hosts were incredible at making us feed relaxed and leaving us to settle in and explore the city. They were incredibly flexible allowing us to drop off our bags when we arrived and breakfast was INCREDIBLE. They offered an personal service we wouldn't have got at a hotel but had the freedom for what we were after. The location was perfect, walking from the train station on arrival and very close to the city and all the touristy bits, as well as being tucked away quietly from the main areas. a brilliant stay, thankyou not sure, we loved it.

Kees was very friendly, chatty and hospitable and lent us bikes for the day. Definitely recommend for your stay in Bruges. Curtains could have been thicker to block the sunshining early in the morning.
Natasa (9/5): Lovely intimate small B&B in good location. - This is a very intimate acommodation. You are in the home of your hosts where they live, there are only 2 rooms, so you are completely immersed. They prepare a filling breakfast for you and are ready to provide recommendations for your stay in Bruges. The B&B is on a quiet street and our room had a view of the canal, very calm and quiet. Comfy bed, big bathroom and ample space. Overall, lovely stay and we left very satisfied. Nothing to complain about.
Paula (10/5): Beautiful rooms, great location and wonderful hosts. - Only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bruges and lovely places to stop and within a couple of minutes. The room was lovely - air con was really appreciated and was the quietest Aircon we have ever come across. Hosts were delightful, breakfast healthy and delicious and the whole house had been renovated tastefully and carefully, but with an added bonus of a lift to get you up to the bedrooms! Loved it! Can't think of anything.
Anonymous (10/5): Friendly. Romantic. Beautiful. Lots to do - Kees & Kathleen were wonderful hosts, very friendly & welcoming. Their recommendations and knowledge of the area was so helpful when you only have a couple of days, to pack so much in. Our room was clean, comfortable with everything you need for an amazing stay. Tea and coffee maker, small fridge, with a couple of cold beers on arrival. Lovely soft fluffy towels. Very comfortable bed. The view was beautiful, with the park so near you could hear the lovely sound of birds song, even though we were in a city. Kees served up a sumptuous breakfast that sustained us until way into the afternoon. I cannot recommend this B&B enough. When we do return to beautiful Bruges, this will be our first choice. Thank you for wonderful memories ❤️ That we couldn't stay longer, and maybe no rain

Robert (10/5): Easter in Bruges - An absolute gem in the heart of Bruges. Me and my fiance stayed here over the Easter weekend and we could not have picked a better B&B for our trip. Our hosts, Kees and Kathleen were lovely, very kind, helpful and knowledgeable and are more than happy to have a chat and point you in the right direction. The house as a whole is stunning. We stayed in room 1, which was nice and big, very clean and has everything you need for a few nights stay, including a mini fridge with a couple of beers and bottles of water included which was a nice touch. Wifi worked fine. TV in the room with some english channels. Breakfast was great. Location is perfect on a very quiet street only 5 minutes walk in to town. Parking in a secure garage down the street opposite, 30 second walk away and easy to find with instructions sent before hand. We arrived late morning as we managed to get an earlier crossing on the tunnel and we was able to check in as soon as we arrived which was great.We cannot fault this place and would 100% come back. Nothing to dislike 😊

Garrett (10/5): Magical anniversary trip for 2 - This is the perfect B&B in Bruges! It’s in a nice and quiet part of town, within walking distance of everything. The room was a good size with a great view of the garden and canal, a comfortable King bed, and a well-appointed en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious each morning with cooked to order eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, and continental bread, cheese, and meats. It was our first time to Belgium, and we stayed during the Bruges Christmas market and Wintergloed. It was amazing! Due to the market, some of the streets were closed when we arrived, so Kees rode his bike to where we were and guided us to their parking garage! Truly top shelf service. After a few days navigating and exploring the city by foot, we braved the traffic and crowds on bikes provided by the B&B. We felt like locals and had a fun ride through and around the city. So much history and beautiful architecture! We highly recommend this B&B. It rained a bit one evening and morning. Obviously, not due to the B&B, and we were already in for the night (and they have umbrellas), but still… ;)

Tina (10/5): Would happily return here! - My husband and I escaped for three nights away in beautiful, romantic Bruges. We wanted to stay somewhere close to central Bruges, but with quiet, peaceful surroundings. We found exactly that at Krees and Kathleen’s exceptional B&B. Everywhere was immaculate, our hosts were perfectly accommodating and welcoming, and the location was perfect. Our room overlooked the canal and a little park and we loved exploring the area and finding the back side of the house, across the water. Krees took us up to our room and showed us around. Nothing was missed - they even welcomed us with a large bottle of water in the fridge and two local Belgium beers! As our clothes were a mess by the time we got them out of the suitcases, Kathleen kindly lent us her iron and ironing board, which thankfully, we took up to our room via the lift! The lift also came in handy after exploring the breweries nearby! Breakfast was delightful every morning and the attention to detail was very much appreciated! Travelling to the B&B without hiring a car was simple! We landed in Brussels, Charleroi Airport and took a comfortable, direct 2-hour shuttle on Flibco to Bruges Station for only €48 total. From the station, it was a lovely and scenic 25-minute walk to the B&B. An Uber was available, but we were happy to walk. The B&B only has two guest rooms, so it was lovely and quiet and we had a wonderful sleep all three nights. Kathleen made some great restaurant recommendations, so we avoided the touristy options on the squares and dined off some side streets. Please try the Flemish Stew (stoofvlees) for a local flavour. There’s no question, if we have the pleasure of returning to Bruges, we will stay with Krees and Kathleen once again. Leaving.

Tina (10/5): A B&B as cute and lovely as Bruges itself. - This is a lovely B&B, in the old town of Bruges. It is spotlessly clean, very nice room, very quiet, and very friendly hosts Kees and Kathleen. They prepare an excellent breakfast, the room has everything you need, great shower, comfy beds, great Wi-Fi. It would be difficult to complain about this cute place. Bruges is a very compact city, so you will be close to everything. It is the sort of place that you will feel sorry if you stay only one night :) I was in Bruges on business, so I was not able to enjoy the full hospitality of Kees and Kathleen. It would have been so much better if I came just to enjoy the city and did not have to work all day :)

Claudia (9/5): Gorgeous Bed and Breakfast in Brugge - Love love loved this B&B. The hosts were delightful and very helpful. The photos done do this place justice. You have such a lovely view of the canal from your bedroom window, great room with ample space. Bonus was a couple of local beers in the fridge. Breakfast was excellent and made our morning feel very special. I highly recommend to stay here!! Maybe could do with some fluffier pillows but that is personal preference.

John (10/5): Exceptional - A beautifully appointed B&B overlooking one of the canals. Exquisitely clean, quiet, well-appointed and with a lift, this B&B is operated by Keece and Kathleen who are very engaging, attentive and helpful hosts. We had a huge room with ensuite which overlooked the garden and canal. Breakfasts were cooked and delicious. There is also garaged parking for guests in a nearby street for a minimal cost. Keece came to our rescue on his bike when we were lost and guided us to the garage. We wished we could have extended our stay, however this beautiful B&B is so popular our hosts were fully booked.

The breakfast was wonderful with attention to detail from the dishes, to the cutlery and especially to the food. The bed was very comfortable, the room was tastefully decorated & there was ample space in the deluxe bathroom. The view looking over the rear garden with the canal was serene. Excellent location, within walking distance to Markt. Kees & Kathleen when out of their was to provide excellent service to their guests. I whole heartedly recommend the Air BnB. Nothing.

I could check in at 1pm already which is a really great thing. for my personally the bed and pillows were too hard but others had a good night slip, rooms are not soundproof but all guests were not making much noise so I could rest and sleep without any problem

What a find !! - The breakfast options were amazing, so much better than the four star hotel we stayed in prior to staying at Speelmansrei. Kees cooked the most delicious bacon and eggs to supplement the vast range of quality items on offer from which to choose. Really came down to earth with a bump this morning when I had to cook my own breakfast!! There is absolutely nothing that could be improved on…..the owners went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we wanted for breakfast……what a joyous start to the day.

Miranda (10/5): Incredible room, incredible breakfast, incredible location - Incredible location, room character, and breakfast. I couldn't possibly recommend this place enough! The pillows weren't our favorite, but we're use to memory foam pillows so it's hard for us to go back to normal pillows.
