• Beat (10/5): Unglaublich schöne Unterkunft in Gent - Wir bewohnten Nr. 6, eine richtige 2 Zimmer Wohnung, im 1.Stock. Wohnzimmer sehr gross, hohe Räume, lichtdurchflutet, elegante Holzlamellenstoren, Mobiliar hochwertig, modern und sehr stilsicher eingerichtet. Komfortables Sofa, schöner runder Esstisch, Küchenzeile mit allen modernsten Geräten, absolut neuwertig. Schlafzimmer mit sehr gutem Doppelbett, Hängegarderobe u d 2 Kofferablagen, dazu ein grosser Schreibtisch. Sehr gute Beleuchtung im Zimmer. Bad/Dusche eher klein, aber sehr schöne Armaturen. WC in getrenntem Raum. Dachterrasse mit Wintergarten mit Blick über Gent. Im Parterre 2 grosse Aufenthaltsräume, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Kühlschrank mit Getränken (Bier, Wein, Softdrinks, Wasser) zur Selbstbedienung gegen Bezahlung am Ende des Aufenthalts. Dazu gibts gratis jeweils frische Madeleines. Es war, als wären wir bei einem interessanten und Architektur/Kunst affinen Paar privat zu Gast gewesen. Leider waren sie aber nicht anwesend, sodass wir nur auf diesem Weg unseren grossen Dank aussprechen können. wenig Abstellfläche im Bad

• Louise Vanheeghe (10/5): Comme à la maison - Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 2 nuits dans l'établissement "Great to Stay Gent". Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Les espaces sont confortables et décorés avec goût. Le salon et la cuisine partagés sont équipés de tout le nécessaire, et de petites attentions sont laissées en libre-service. L'endroit est calme et invite à la détente. Sa situation géographique est parfaite pour découvrir Gand à pied, à proximité de nombreux restaurants, bars et boutiques, mais dans une rue calme. Le service de parking à quelques pas de l'hôtel est très appréciable. Nous reviendrons à coup sûr ! Le stationnement est assez cher autour de l'hôtel, nous recommandons d'utiliser le service parking de l'hôtel si vous venez en voiture.

• Jan (9/5): Top logies in hartje Gent ! - De locatie is top , ook biedt Great parking aan (tegen meerprijs) om de hoek. Erg fijn. Overall is de accommodatie gewoon erg fijn en luxe. Wij hadden het appartement geboekt wat alle gemakken en faciliteiten biedt. Kan niks verzinnen.

• lisette (10/5): Heerlijke plek waar je je meteen thuis voelt ! - Wat een prachtige plek met supermooie inrichting. Je voelt je meteen thuis en een paradijs voor een boeken en tijdschriftenliefhebber als ik. Alles op en top geregeld. Heel fijn dat onze auto ook meteen opgeladen is en veilig in een parkeergarage stond. Vanaf de accommodatie is alles goed te voet te doen.

• Olga (10/5): - The shared sitting rooms were an amazing additions to the standard hotel bedrooms. We had two adjacent double rooms at the first floor with a sitting room right next door and it felt like an entire apartment was at our disposal. There was another spacious sitting room on the ground floor. Both had tea and coffee facilities, plus an honesty bar for a late night drink for those who might want one. The location is great, walking distance to the city center and yet in a quite residential area. Maybe a weird thing to note, but the hairdryers in the rooms were really great, powerful enough to properly style your hair, not just blow dry it for. Most hotel rooms I've been in have a shameful excuse for a hairdryer 😅 so I was happy about this detail. The bedrooms were a bit dark even during the day, because the windows face a well-type courtyard that doesn't let much sunshine in. But we didn't mind it since we spent most of the time in the sitting rooms anyway.

Van de fijne, duidelijke communicatie vooraf, tot aan de mooi ingerichte kamers en verblijfsruimtes. Super aardige enthousiaste hosts, echt een aanrader! Geen enkel minpuntje kunnen bespeuren.
• Adriëtte (9/5): Great! - De plek en het interieur. Rustige plek, toch dichtbij alles wat je wil. Uitstekende tips van de host. Interieur is heel mooi en fijn. Ik voelde me heel welkom met een muziekje aan in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Verrassend was ook het dakterras. Mijn bed vond ik een beetje hard, maar dat is natuurlijk heel persoonlijk
• Dorrit (10/5): Superlichter om te verblijven. Voor herhaling vatbaar - Om het gevoel te krijgen je als een local in Gent te willen voortbewegen is Great een perfecte uitvalsbasis. Dichtbij het centrum ( je loopt de straat uit en je bent er), maar de rust is ook zalig. We verbleven in het (moderne) appartement 2. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Een keuken met alle gerei, inloopdouche met föhn en een huiskamer met eettafel en bank en loungestoel. Oom Greetje de eigenaresse is betrokken en zorgzaam. We kwamen met een elektrische auto en die kon fijn worden opgeladen op de overdekte parkeerplaats die we separaat konden bijhuren, een paar straten verderop. We hebben een uitstekende 3 dagen er vertoeft. En ook het centrum van Gent is de moeite waard. Beneden op de begane grond van het complex is ook een ruimte waar je een drankje kunt nemen mocht je dat willen. Afrekenen doe je op het einde van je verblijf. Het appartement ligt op de eerste verdieping. Voor ons geen probleem, maar minder als je slecht ter been zou zijn.
• Remco (10/5): Top appartement op top locatie - Fantastisch appartement in t centrum en toch heerlijk stil. Heerlijk om gewoon een kopje koffie, bakje thee te kunnen pakken. Heel luxe en comfortabel. Niets viel tegen. Voor ons zou nog extra toegevoegde waarde zijn als er een volwaardige keuken zou zijn, zodat we ook iets kunnen koken/bakken.
• Triest (10/5): Perfectie! - De locatie was perfect, lag op een steenworp van het gravensteen. De host was super toegankelijk en vriendelijk, kregen een gratis drankje! De kamer was super proper, net als ook de gemeenschappelijke delen. Het interieur ook een 1000/10, ik hield er van.

• Remy (10/5): Delightful, clean, spacious and central, with a lovely host! - We parked in a parking garage where the host has two parking spots available for a fee (€15 a day). Which we gladly paid! It was just a 5 minute walk from there to where the apartment was located. We've received very clear instructions on how to get to the parking garage, which code to use, how to get to the apartment and which code to use there. The apartment itself was just a delight! Incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable. It's quiet so we were able to sleep very comfortably here. Preparing a breakfast or even a meal is quite easy to do in a large kitchen such as this one. They even had the same moccamaster coffee machine like I have! A nice bonus :) Best of all is perhaps the locations itself, so conveniently located close by the city centre! You walk a few minutes and you're right in the middle of all the café's, bars, restaurants and frietkotten. Just moments away for that perfect waffle, those delicious Belgian fries or the many other specialties Gent has to offer! The host (Greetje) made the stay truly delightful. The contact we've had was great, she shared her favorite spots around the city and because the cleaning lady would come by the next day, we didn't need to check-out early. So we were able to spend our final day there as well! On Saturday we visited one of her favorite restaurants which was 'l'apéro d'oc'. A cosy place, simple dishes and really delicious! A great recommendation. If we ever go back to Gent (which we probably will because the city is amazing) we'll definitely try to book here again :) Thank you, Greetje! We really don't have any dislikes about this experience!

• Mike (10/5): Excellent comfort - Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from centre restaurants etc. Apartment 6 was warm, clean and very comfortable. Great hot shower and clean bathroom facilities. Comfortable bed, bedroom with some hanging space for clothes. Kitchen had enough equipment for straight forward cooking with everything clean and effective. Pleasant living room - able to access BBC on TV which was an unexpected bonus for us. Warm underfloor heating plus radiators which was welcome during a cold spell. Interesting design and décor. Able to arrange parking with host at a underground garage about 5 minutes walk away which was convenient, safe, easily accessible and at a reasonable cost, We were able to park the car outside the property long enough to unload. Supermarket which had all essentials was situated next to parking We would certainly stay there again if visiting Ghent again - thank you Greetje Nothing - there were no issues at all.

Lots of good information and Greetje was a good communicator. Parking was a little frustrating as we got told off for using the space we had paid for and told to do. So an irritation not a real issue.

• Wendy (10/5): Welcoming, convenient and cozy haven to return to after a long day of sight seeing. - Location could not have been better for my trip, as the castle and city center were my main priority during the brief stay. There was also a welcoming lounge/kitchenette stocked with local guides, tea, and other amenities, and was a great, cozy haven from which to plan my very packed itinerary in Ghent. Lastly, the host was warm, communicative and offered suggestions and help when I needed it. I had no concerns during my trip.
• Bogdana (10/5): It’s apartment is the best choice for you. - The apartment is amazing, very clean and comfortable. Delicious coffee and biscuits are also available. There is an underground parking lot next to the apartment with enough space for a large car. And what is important, you will be met by pleasant people who are ready to help with any questions.

Location was excellent, close to Gravensteen and we walked everywhere. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious. Rooftop terrace was stunning. Can’t think of anything although perhaps breakfast would have been good to include.

• Anders (8/5): Very good - Very nice, calm and safe location in Gent. Clean apartment and very quiet in general. Nice balcony, not much of a view but to a calm street. No ac, but since it was a calm area opening windows on both sides worked fine other than a few mosquito bites. Wifi didnt reach balcony and no electricity there. Felt a bit weird not to see any staff around until my third and last day.

The rooms were clean, well stocked and it is a very peaceful building. The location is perfect as it's quiet and only a short walk to the town centre/Christmas Markets/Historical Buildings. • Megan (10/5): Trendy and comfortable hotel close to the heart of Ghent - Superb location within a 5 min walk to the heart of Ghent. In a great neighbourhood with loads of trendy bars and cafes. An extremely well-designed building that feels just like home, but with all the touches of a boutique hotel. Some more information in the room on arrival (e.g. wifi code, amenities in the building, what we do/don't have access to during our stay etc.). Everything else was superb!

• Paul (10/5): Memorable for all the right reasons. - Great is located amazingly close to the city centre but on a very quiet street. The building is renovated to an extremely high standard and very stylishly decorated. The host was very friendly.

• Luca (10/5): Geweldig! - GREAT! It’s really great in every way this guesthouse! Greetje and Lotte were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. In the two large lounges on the ground floor we could relax in an ambiance with good background music, with books and magazines, with a kitchen equipped with a coffee machine and all kinds of beverages, all in a very tastefully designed decor (Greetje is also an interior design) The bedroom was very comfortable and clean, with a large shower and above the roof there is a glass greenhouse with exotic plants, a coffee table and 2 furry armchairs from which you can admire roofs and skyline of the beautiful city of Gent while sipping tea or an exquisite Flemish beer I recommend this wonderful experience to all! Dank je wel and see you in Venice! The only negativity is that we unfortunately only stayed 2 nights but we will certainly come back!
