Guest Reviews
- Joan (8/5): Peaceful - The location was very peaceful and surrounded by nature. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I was able to go for a walk on the property and saw kangaroos and deer. It was an opportunity to relax away from town.
- Iman (10/5): -
- Naomi (10/5): -
- Anita (9/5): A perfect place to reconnect and rejuvenate - Beautiful location, not far from Bega but secluded and peaceful. Kumiko is delightful and was so friendly and accommodating. The space is simple, comfortable and clean with everything you need. Nothing.
- Homa (10/5): -
- Gillian (9/5): -
- Gabby (10/5): It was amazing! I have stayed here twice already 🙂 - Far away from the highway and couldn’t hear many cars and trucks.
A lot of space to walk around the large property, saw a lot wildlife.
Saw a wedge tail eagle, fox, rabbits, ducks, wombat, and a snake I liked everything about the property
- Lucie (10/5): Gorgeous place - one of the best - Yasuragi Cabins is gorgeous. The cabins are well-equipped, clean and comfy, with cute little touches like fresh flowers (and reverse cycle AC so you're comfy whatever the weather). The host is lovely. The standout feature is the amazing scenery. There are just two cabins on a large bush property so you feel like it's just you and nature. Quiet, stunning views, and you're allowed to walk anywhere on the property. Super pet friendly too. We loved it and would definitely return. No downsides – everything is great!
- Yair (10/5): Wonderful- highly recommended - Wonderful location, lots of walks to explore with our dogs, and within easy drive to coastal locations. The cabin was well equipped and comfortable, and views from veranda ( and family of eagles) wonderful. Our host Komiko was very welcoming ( with fresh free range eggs) and friendly. Great place to spend time and share with your dog(s) Not about property - but be aware google maps will give you wrong directions - if coming from Bega side do NOT turn into Warigal range road. ( google will try to get you to turn left there) - CONTINUE ON A1 to just before the bridge and turn left into BLANCHARDS Rd- keep going ( google should have corrected now) for a few km - until you get to sign/ property.
- Arezou (9/5): - Nice people, interesting place, pet friendly, saw lots of Wild life. Was a bit hard to find, had to call and ask for directions.
- barry (6/5): - Peaceful, native animals including wombats and echidnas iT WAS LISTED AS BED AND BREAKFAST...THERE WAS NO BFEAKFAST
- Tauhid (8/5): -
- David (9/5): - Secluded location and tranquillity. Very well equipped throughout. It was very hot during our stay and the air conditioner struggled to cope.. The road surface is very rough in places and could be a bit of a problem when it rains.
- Cristian (10/5): - If you really want to disconnect your brains for some days this is your place..
All is Green, nature, peace , view.
Of course you still have signal in your phone , but definitely I left it behind for those days.
Close to oyster farms and Eden it is a excellent choice to escape the city for some days. If you come from Wagga Wagga the Google maps are sent to you to another road finishing in a private land, so check first.
- Marret (10/5): Erholsame Auszeit - Man befindet sich mitten in der Natur. Überall Vögel, Kängurus und Wombats. Alles war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet.
- Alba (9/5): -
- Gary (10/5): We will definitely be back this is a spot we will stay at again when in or passing through the area. - Breakfast was not an option for us. I can't think of anything.
- Cheryl (9/5): Peace and quiet of country living. Lots of animals and wildlife. -
- Mike (10/5): - We were made to feel very welcome, and the cabin was clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. Even though there was a reverse cycle airconditioner, we found the cabin warm enough with the beautiful natural light. The views across the property were even better than we had hoped for, and we enjoyed coffee on the deck each day. It was great to be able to have our dog Tilly staying with us.
Lynne, Mike and Tilly
- Julie (10/5): Love it 😍 - Loved staying,Kuminko & Neil are amazing host. They go above and beyond to make sure your seating is enjoyable.
Will be back😊
- Jeremy (10/5): Magic place for a retreat - will be repeat customers. - Love the tranquility and the chance to bring the fur kid so we’ve been coming nearly every year for a while. Location is wonderful and the owners are a delight and very helpful. Nothing!
- Alice (10/5): - What an absolutely beautiful property!! The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The cabin was warm, plenty of extra blankets as well, everything you could possibly need was provided. Loved waking up and hearing nothing but birds and the occasional cow. Seeing the cows and sheep every day was a plus as well.
Just be mindful to not follow Google maps!! You'll end up down a neighbours driveway, which used to be the way through the valley (who was also very friendly and helpful with directions - apparently this happens often!)
Plenty of space in the cabin and the air con kept it beautifully warm.
The deck was the perfect spot to sit and watch the stars at night, or enjoy a cuppa in the morning.
- Erica (10/5): I’d go back in a heartbeat - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Yusaragi Cabins in Brogo on a Saturday night, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment we arrived, the customer service felt exceptionally warm and welcoming, creating a truly homely atmosphere. Kumiko, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and genuine care made a significant difference.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. Although it was a self-cooking setup, everything we needed was provided, allowing us to whip up a delicious meal just the way we liked it. The quality of the ingredients felt five-star, making the cooking experience both enjoyable and satisfying.
Overall, Yusaragi Cabins is a fantastic retreat that combines comfort, excellent service, and a unique breakfast experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting! There was nothing to dislike, especially when you surrounded by such beautiful country
- Maria (10/5): A place to call home - The place has many area to explore. It has lots of amenities & the hot water is reliable. I could still use my laptop using personal hotspots. Perfect place if you travel with pets. Super clean too! None
- Alana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheila (10/5): Relaxing, isolated rural setting - The property was well secluded quiet except for a wombat that came out came to visit at night. We saw kangaroos deer beautiful birds ideal spot if you just want to relax. Good mobile phone coverage. excellent breakfast provided. Lack of an all weather road and parking could be better
- Keith (10/5): Will be back. - Beautiful surroundings, quiet country stay. Much wildlife to enjoy. Plus a Free country breakfast supplied each morning. N/A
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (9/5): Peace and seclusion in a quaint cabin with all the comforts of home. The breakfast was truly amazing - The peace, the nature and the comfortable cabin.
A beautiful view and many beautiful animals. Seclusion at its best. I did not like that Google maps took us the wrong way and a long way from our destination.
Perhaps some specific directions would be very useful for new people to have a clear understanding of the location.
- Mark (10/5): Wonderful, peaceful and relaxing - everything was perfect to be able to get away from busy everyday life and relax with a wonderful breakfast supplied for us to cook bacon, eggs, juice and more. couldn't of found a more relaxing place to stay. Wonderful friendly hosts There was nothing not to like
- Adam (10/5): Simple answer is “I’m looking forward to returning there for our next trip!” - Beautiful quiet remote spot, perfect little cabin, our hosts were so welcoming. Highly recommend Quiet and relaxing, surrounded by nature
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Birdii (10/5): Been here 3 times so far, can’t get enough of the Peaceful energy, divine views, wildlife, kind considerate generous hel - Peaceful, beautiful wildlife, beautiful hosts, privacy, kindness That I couldn’t stay forever!
- Tregoning (10/5): Exceptional - very tranquil, cosy cabin surrounded by bush with amazing bird life
- Inez (8/5): Very good -
- Gail (9/5): Kumiko and Neil always provide a comfy and scenic stay. - Fantastic breakfast provisions, beautiful location, perfect for a peaceful getaway.
- Cherie (10/5): Rejuvenating, peaceful, comfortable. - We loved how secluded and peaceful the cabin was. Attention to detail far exceeded our expectation and Kimiko and Neil were such lovely hosts! We so appreciated the breakfast provided and hope to be back soon. Thank you! Was amazing, can’t think of anything to improve!
- Berns (10/5): Wonderful and comfortable place to stay with all the amenities one could wish for and lovely hosts! - The breakfast was very generous, with plenty of bacon, lovely eggs, orange juice, jam, bread, cereal, more than you could eat. Kumiko and Neil were fantastic hosts, extremely pleasant and helped make our stay so lovely. I could recommend this place unconditionally or without hesitation. The price was very reasonable for all that one had, every facility, every comfort. The bed was amazing. Such a beautiful retreat, quiet and far away from it all. Pet friendly so it was fabulous because of that.
Could not recommend this gorgeous location enough if wanting to escape the city perhaps for awhile. We had everything we could have wished for. Didn't much care for the bush flies or the heat, but they were both outside and unable to be avoided, so nothing to do with the lovely cabin that we stayed at, couldn't fault anything.
- Nancye (10/5): Will be back, love the peace and tranquility and the owners were fantastic, - affordably priced - Breakfast was excellent while the location was both beautiful and serene and Neil and Kumiko were friendly and very helpful I was there 6 nights and could have stayed much longer - will hopefully be back
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Moemi (9/5): Superb - Kind and friendly hosts and lovely property.
- Birdii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yu (10/5): BEST STAY! - I loved the location! It was quiet and beautiful! They were so generous to provide breakfast! I loved everything about the stay at Yasuragi cabin!
- Belinda (10/5): Exceptional - The cabin was so clean and well equipped. It's just a beautiful place to stay so quiet and peaceful. Great for a walk. Listening to the water trickling whilst sitting on the deck was gorgeous. The brekky was so yummy and well prepared.😋 The long road in is dirt and a little tricky to navigate with lots of rough edges. However, it's worth it. The sofa in the lounge was uncomfortable. A 2 seater recliner would be excellent.
- Rossana (9/5): Perfectly tranquil, thank you for an amazing experience. - The hosts were so welcoming and the location was serene. We would definitely go back. Leaving!
- Paul (10/5): Such an amazing stay, Kumiko and Neil were so friendly and welcoming. Amazing breakfast with eggs. - Amazing and friendly hosts - just as amazing breakfast (toast, eggs, bacon, fruit).
- Francesca (9/5): Superb - Great place - beautiful spot, comfy cabin and generous breakfast supplies. Great value for money.
- Ryan (10/5): Unbeatable location, welcoming hosts, excellent breakfast and a great price! - The location is second to none. Our cabin was overlooking a beautiful tree-covered valley with mountains in the distance. There were so many birds and we saw deer from the balcony! It was also dog-friendly, which was essential as we were traveling with our two dachshunds. Breakfast was superb and hosts were lovely It had bucketed down with rain the day we arrived and the driveway was long, steep, muddy and slippery. We made it in our sedan but our car was not ideal. Would be no problem with a 4wd
- Jason (9/5): A peaceful escape immersed in nature! - The views and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The cabins are well positioned and private. We loved so many things - being able to take our dog, the fact that the cabins were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the fresh and generous breakfast provisions. The property is well suited to explore the local area, or just hang out and go for walks. Little touches like the warm, friendly welcome from Kumiko and Neil, and the freshly picked flowers in vases were appreciated. No BBQ facilities.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Hosts were lovely people- even provided breakfast. Would definitely recommend for a stay - Lovely location- very picturesque
Cabins very clean comfortable everything you could need
Trails were accessible and great walks with a dog Nothing
- Gaganashree (10/5): Exceptional -
- Douglas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (10/5): Would’ve loved to have stayed longer, & our dogs were in paradise! - Beautiful location & everything we needed, & the dogs too! Only had 2 nights
- Michelle (10/5): A quiet and quaint part of NSW, worth a visit for the friendly locals. - It was wonderful to have such a warm welcome from Kumiko and Neil. The cabin had everything we needed. The breakfast provided was quite delicious and generous. We couldn’t have it all. Not a thing.
- Andrew (10/5): Peaceful haven in the south. - This was a fabulous break. The views were amazing, the location excellent. The facilities comfortable and clean.
Three days of peace and much required. Nothing to dislike at all.
- Lauren (10/5): What a beautiful spot, not far from Bega & Bermy, fully self contained, bring along wine and cheese - Had an amazing 2 night stay with Neil and Kimiko, just wish I hadn't had 1.5 days of working to explore the property more and go see some of the amazing animals all around Nothing, was 10/10
- Farid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (6/5): Immerse yourself in the birdlife at Yasuragi - the bellbirds were amazing! - Great breakfasts left in the fridge - huge amounts of bacon, local eggs, tomatoes, bread for toast plus condiments, fruit, etc. Anyone who didn't enjoy the food would be crazy!
Lovely accommodating owners, although we did end up with a minor communication mishap about us bringing a camp bed but everything was sorted and we all had a laugh. I would be a little concerned about the wooden lattice railing at the top of the stairs to the cabin - it felt very wobbly and unsafe. There were a few wonky floorboards on the verandah but the owner said they were getting them fixed. However an elderly person might have difficulty with the railing and/or steps. I noticed the other cabin had a ramp, so if you are concerned, try and book that one.
- Kerry (10/5): Just so relaxing! - Beautiful location with such amazing views! It was also very well equipped and Kumiko and Neil very friendly and welcoming. Loved our two day stay
- Jo (10/5): another lively stay at Brogo - great hearty breakfast, clean and comfortable space, beautiful surrounds.
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (10/5): Loved it, great place, wonderful hosts, very comfy, highly recommend. - The location of this gorgeous little cabin was sensational, totally private and peaceful with beautiful views across the surrounding hills and countryside, nothing or no-one to be seen with the exception some cows grazing peacefully in the paddock. We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the very generous breakfast supplies on both mornings, delicious bacon and farm fresh eggs, tomatoes and vegie type hash browns, so yummy, plenty of bread with butter and preserves as well as fresh milk. It really is a very dog friendly space with a huge area of mown grass around the cabins for him to run around and chase balls, the little deck outside the cabin has a secure gate so we could keep him up with us at night while having the cabin door open. We loved everything, my only suggestion for anyone coming would be to make sure they had all the supplies they needed as it is quite a distance from the nearest shops.
- Dip (9/5): Value for money! - It's a REALLY nice view. A place to stay disconnected from the world! 👌 very friendly host! Amazing breakfast, a lot more than we expected. The bedroom did not have aircon. Lots and lots of bugs at night, which is understandable, had to be careful or they get in.
It is better to take some groceries and medicines with, as the milkbar or supershops are quite far from the location.
- Gerhard (7/5): Good -
- Savannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (7/5): Comfortable cottage, peaceful and quiet surroundings. Liked watching the cows. bulls and steers. - Breakfast supplies were very generous. The position and views of the cottage were lovely and very peaceful. Great spot if you want to relax and get away from the rat race. The access road could do with some maintenance. The sink in the bathroom was very small. The cottage could use its own iron and ironing board.
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (10/5): Highly recommend this property - Beautiful location, so peaceful, clean and comfy cabin with everything you need and more. Delish breaky too. The road in was a bit rough but there had been a lot of rain recently.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clara (10/5): Incredible! - The property was an amazing area surrounded by protected land. We were warmly greeted by Neil and Kumiko who gave us some information about their property. We loved exploring the land and our dog loved running up and down the hills and swimming in the dams and creeks. We were supplied with delicious breakfast and had all we needed for our stay!
- Christine (8/5): Fabulous, peaceful stay in a very clean and well maintained cabin with remarkable forest views. - The cabin was very comfortable with awesome views of the surrounding bushland. Breakfast provided was very generous and fresh and both the owners were friendly and helpful. After massive rains in the days leading up to my stay, the road and driveway in were very wet and damaged. The owners had done their best to improve the road down to the cabins, but I feel it was really only fully accessible as I had a 4wd and perhaps I should have been contacted prior to my stay to raise this as a possible issue.
- Maxine (9/5): Beautiful seclusion - The cottage had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The breakfast supplies were excellent and plentiful. The surroundings were wonderful, so peaceful and full of wildlife. The area had a lot of rain so the road in was in need of some maintenance. It would've been quite tricky in a small sedan. There is only one road in so great for seclusion but less convenient for exploring the surrounding area.
- Natalia (10/5): Cabin to get away from the rat race - Location is on a farm and nature reserve with rolling green hills and a pond. There’s cows and sheep and lots of wildlife; wombats and kangaroos and echidnas and lots of birds e.g. rosellas. Cabin is cosy and comfy. No wifi, just tv. Breakfast is great: farm fresh eggs, bacon, toast butter jam and marinade and juice and milk, fruit and tomatoes. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds are comfy. Great hospitality: if you’re coming back late they’ll turn the outside light on for you. Clean the cabin every 2 days.
- Matthew (9/5): How's the serenity?? - Stunning location, loads of serenity, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed
- Jo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): A rare Gem if you need to de stress perfect just you and natural beauty great owners - Well what a hidden gem it was serene to say the least if you want to drop back from the rush then this is for you one of the most beautiful surroundings you will find don't be put off by having to access it from a short gravel road it is defiantly worth it and entire transportable to yourself all amenities work well sit on the veranda at night watch the star and quietness with the sound of book book owls in the distance mingle with the fam animals the owners were incredibly nice and left you to it a very hearty breakfast was supplied with off the farm eggs WONDERFUL Please use better than staying in Bega
- Cameron (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (10/5): I can't wait to go back - The hosts were amazing. The cabin was beautifully situated and it was just a magical place. My golden retriever didn't want to leave. It was the greatest place for dogs Nothing . It was perfect
- Lauren (10/5): Beautiful place with lots of room to do walks. - Breakfast was amazing and the view. The bed was also super comfortable. Yumiko was also very amenable when we asked her to come every few days to clean rather than every two days. She kept us up to date with the fires too. The couch for watching tv wasn't very comfortable.
- Tore (8/5): A nice relaxing time in a farm setting with a view out over the hills - great breakfast with more bacon than we could eat. Secluded property with space for quiet walks around the farm. Great wildlife birds, wambats a kangaroo and of course friendly cattle mooing around. all good...met expectations for a quiet time away.
- Sijie (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay, were sad to leave but left feeling happy and recharged. - We loved the location of the property, it was secluded and away from other people yet close enough to the beach and nearby villages. The farmland was beautiful with a nice path leading through that allows you to explore and spot local wildlife. We also really liked the experience of cooking our own breakfast with the fresh local ingredients provided. The hosts were super friendly and considerate, we could see all the thought that went into making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
- Jared (10/5): Will be back ! - Location was fantastic if you're a nature lover. Peace, quiet and millions of stars to gaze at. Perfect little cabin with all things you'd need for a comfortable stay.
- Macinante (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandra (10/5): Beautiful wilderness escape with birds and wombats - We loved everything about this stay, definitely one of the best stays I’ve ever had on booking.com (100+). I couldn’t recommend more, everything was absolutely excellent. Had a lovely wander (bush bash) through the hills. Thanks so much for having us! :)
