• Phil T (9/5): Magic in central Bruges - Fantastic location, couldn't really be better. A couple of minutes from the Grote Markt but in a quiet side street. So much food provided (cheese, meat, eggs, bread, yogurts, fruit, coffee, tea ...) The house was beautifully kept, so historic and characterful, and particularly lovely with Christmas tree and fairy lights everywhere. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, with a really cool, big room at the top of the house complete with sofa and huge TV; then another double room on the middle floor. We loved the little sitting room on the ground floor, and of course the huge kitchen. It was too cold to use the cute little enclosed patio, but that's a lovely touch. Finally, it was great to meet Igor and Anna - such lovely and gracious hosts. There didn't seem to be a hairdryer (unless we just couldn't find it!). There is one shower room, plus two toilets, which was absolutely fine, but may be an issue for some large groups.

De deur uit lopen en direct in het centrum van Brugge staan. Parkeren op een privé parking op 30 m eter afstand . Alles was top geregeld. Communicatie met de eigenaar gewoon zoals het hoort. Duidelijk en welwillend. We hebben genoten. In het geheel niets op aan te merken.

• Evan (9/5): Very cute house in central area with wonderul self-served breakfast. - very cute place, as pictured. Wonderful apartment and attentive owners. Very close to square without too much street noise. Had a WII nintendo upstairs for the kids to play which was a big hit and fun. The Booking.com descriptions states it is a served breakfast with pictures of cooked meals - this is NOT the case. The hosts are generous however with stocking the fridge with a variety of breakfast options like meats/chesses/yogurts/crepes/eggs for your self-service. Was also suprised to find a 10 euro laundry charge for the washer, which we found unusual and excessive as we had never had a laundry charge before anywhere with an in-unit laundry. Neither of these problems would have felt bad to us, except the ad seemed misleading on this website. Overall great place, and would happily stay again.

• Sophie (10/5): Group trip to Bruges - We had a lovely time at Old Bruges B&B. The accommodation was perfect for a group and we felt we had enough space not to be on top of eachother. We loved the self-serve breakfast, it had something for everyone and Igor and Anna catered for the vegan of the group too. The accommodation was so central, about 5 mins from the main square. We liked it all.

The comfy beds and clean bedrooms, the cool shower, all the food prepped for us, country kitchen, kids loved the Wii and the gorgeous homely feel. The best, best location in Bruge and we had so much fun shopping, sightseeing, bike riding , walking and doing a chocolate making workshop. So much fun and we didn’t want to leave even after 3 nights. Highly recommend. Great for a family. Nothing

• Douglas (10/5): Fantastic historic gem off a quiet side street in the heart of Bruges - A beautiful, three story, authentic old home in the heart of Bruges. Just a few hundred yards from the main market, but on a quiet side street so you wouldn’t know. Igor and Anna provided more food than we could begin to eat for breakfast. They were fantastic hosts. We loved eating in their little covered outdoor courtyard. Just a wonderful property! Nothing.

The host was friendly and welcoming, the fridge was generously stocked, and there were plenty of games, comics, and a Wii to keep the kids entertained. I myself enjoyed a couple of hours of Tintin too! And what a perfect location—on a quiet street, but near the main square. My third time in Bruges and by far the best!

We love the location as you are in the centre of Bruges within minutes - This is a beautiful 3 storey house right in the centre of Bruges and we enjoyed our stay so much last year that we brought our teenagers along this time. There’s a private garage for an additional fee of €18 and it was great to park up and not worry about the car. The owners provide amazing breakfast platters of local produce and as they live nearby they respond quickly to any questions. We liked everything.

• Thanh (10/5): The most enjoyable experience staying at this BNB due to its cleanliness and warm welcome from Anna. - We had such an enjoyable stay at this property! When we arrived, Anna (the owner) welcomed us immediately. She was so kind, helpful, and patient as she answered all of our questions. She also prepared breakfast foods for us, including charcuterie platters, fruit, yogurt, bread, and eggs, which she left nicely set up in the kitchen. The beds were clean and tidily set up, along with a set of a face towel, body towel, and washcloth placed on each bed. More than enough amenities were provided as well in the shower and bathroom. There were many games for children to play on the top floor to stay occupied. This BNB was also very close to the town center, making it a fast walk to all of the activities. We also appreciated Anna’s recommendations, which she left on a bulletin board in the kitchen. Overall, we had an amazing stay due to the cleanliness, food, and Anna’s hospitality.

• Susanne (10/5): Wonderful place! - What a wonderful stay! We were so glad we stayed at Igor and Anna’s BnB. The online reviews are all accurate and it was even more cozy than we expected. We arrived to twinkly lights and lite candles. The location was perfect-just a few minutes walk to the old square and even closer to wonderful artisanal chocolate (Chocolatier Dumon). As a family of five we used the kitchen and it had everything we could need. The breakfast provided was outstanding and more than we could eat. Spacious and comfy beds for all. We would recommend the historical tour with Igor. We arrived, dropped our bags and Igor met us for a fascinating walking tour. He was so nice and very knowledgeable. Great way to start our visit with tips for best shops, restaurants etc too. We will be back!

We loved the space and the character of the property, warm, cosy (yet with plenty of space), extremely clean, excellent utilities and supplies, along with the character and feel of the property being exactly what we were looking for whilst staying in such a beautiful and charming city. Igor and Anna, gave us a lovely welcome and informative handover, they were also very gracious that I had missed to note our baby daughter would be joining us. Highly recommend this property - you won’t regret it. Nothing.

The check-in was smooth and the communication from the host impeccable. The breakfast offering was also excellent. The 'comfortable' downstairs seating is limited meaning the kids disappear upstairs to the play-room rather than everyone sitting together but this is a very very minor comment - the children enjoyed disappearing upstairs!

At first we were a bit skeptical regarding the sleepcouch but it was big enough for an adult. If we need to mention a remark, then we would say that it was a pity that we weren't able to meet Igor and Anna. However everything was already prepared when we arrived, so don't let this remark impact you while making a reservation here.

The 3 storey traditional house has been sympathetically transformed with great attention to detail, and we loved it. Igor and Anna also provided a huge selection of food that we could help ourselves to and we really appreciated this. The location was fantastic ..a few minutes and you were in the main square. It was so convenient, we could even pop back to drop shopping off. We loved everything !

We were right in the center of the old city. We walked everywhere and then went back and spent family time in the beautiful roomy kitchen. The bedrooms were fabulous. All the comforts in a very picturesque setting. The food was fabulous and very generous. If you're going to Brugge, this is the place to stay. I truly can't think of anything.

And - Location, high end finishing of interior design, parking spot nearby, 2 restrooms, spotless, amazing kitchen with everything you need, hospitality, incredible amount and variation in breakfast items and snacks, drinks,… Personalized decoration for my son who graduated and…as a special gift a beautiful drawing of the old city. Igor was always very redponsive and helped us tremendously to make this a memorable trip to Bruges. Ther’s absolutely nothing that you couldn’t like about this hidden gem.
