- Jimmy (7/5): Good -
- Carlos (9/5): Superb - Of course! Here's your text in bullet point format, slightly refined for clarity and tone:
- Accommodations are simple but more than adequate; they match the price.
- The small château is very beautiful.
- A charming couple takes care of the guests.
- Pleasant and delightful conversation during breakfast. All is well.
- Stanislav (9/5): Superb - Nice and calm location and a very pleasant atmosphere in a historical residence thanks to Veronique and Jean-Marc! :-)
- Can (10/5): A nice house in a quiet neighborhood, filled with art. - The house is artistically decorated, full of beauty. All was fine for us.
- Williams (10/5): Exceptional - . Nothing.
- Stefan (9/5): Good overall, good ambiance/ vibes in the house. Some things “oldish”, but cosy and comfortable. - I liked the energy of the house, and the owners, bit old and simple accomodation, not the modern, artificially ventilated rooms. It’s like a home, but with your own privacy. It’s really the old style B&B, in the house with the owners, who do their without interfering. On occasional interesting talk is also possible. I would have liked a kitchen a bit more equiped and maybe a harder matrass
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Robin (8/5): On reflection we accomplished our aim, to walk some if not all of the Waterloo battlefield & and our - For an Englishman the Cereal was for children. We prefer Cornflakes- Coffee very good, though not enough milk
Location very pleasant & quiet - But we were perhaps too far from the Wellington/ Butte de Lion Visitor Centre (which was fantastic) I didn’t enquire when booking, but the four flights of stairs, were almost too much effort for my 84 year old friend, who needed two walking sticks, but overall he/ we enjoyed our stay. Our two hosts were charming, and very interesting, and helpful - finding us on a Sunday evening arrival, an open & good restaurant.
Our two days visiting Waterloo battle sites were on Monday & Tuesday & some places were closed & restaurants too - “quelle dommage”. But, by seeing the country, the hills & the hollows, and distances, we obtained a much better understanding of the low speed of moving foot soldiers about - between 3 & 5 mph - the incessant rain over the period 7th-18th date of the monumental battle June 1815, soaked the ground into mud!!
- Victoria (8/5): Very good -
- Ondrej (9/5): Superb - Historical house with fantastic atmosphere and interior, one of the most beautiful I ever was, great location and views (for Belgium), also very friendly people, was nice to talk. My room had shared bathroom, which was OK for me but maybe not so much for everyone. Also kitchen is shared. The place is ideal if you travel alone, could have some drawbacks if it's with family.
- Janis (9/5): Superb -
