• Daniel (8/5): Nette Gastgeberin - Preis- Leistung fanden wir eher teuer! - Diana hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben. Sie war sehr hilfsbereit . Die Unterkunft ist in einem ruhigen Quartier. Überall in der Unterkunft, auch im Zimmer, liegt, hängt und steht sehr viel Dekomaterial und viele Blumen aus Plastik. Überall hängen Hinweise, was erlaubt ist und was nicht. Beides fanden wir unangenehm.

• Christian (2/5): Hier würde ich nie mehr buchen - - kostenloses Parken irgendwo in der Straße ist möglich - wenn ich mir die vielen positiven Bewertungen anschaue, bin ich ziemlich verwundert. Anscheinend hat die Besitzerin auch gute Tage, aber wenn Sie einen schlechten hat, dann wird das hier kein Spaß - würde hier defintiv nicht mehr buchen - ohne das Nachspiel und den Ärger, könnte man der Unterkunft auch 3-4 von 10 geben - keine Klimaanlage - extrem hellhörig - man hört wirklich alles aus Flur und Zimmern um einen herum - viel zu weit weg - Betten extremst weich - es gab kein Frühstück (passend zum Namen der Unterkunft, weil luxoriös ist es definitiv auch nicht) - viele, sich teilweise widersprechende Textnachrichten bekommen - die Krönung: Deposit wurde einbehalten - da hilft weder Kommunikation noch booking.com weiter

• 종강하자 (1/5): 편안함 대신 불편함과 공포심만 제공 - 없음 이 숙소에서의 2박 3일은 여행이 아니라 공포였습니다. 호스트 다이애나는 손님의 사생활과 안전을 보장하지 않았습니다. 1. 사생활 침해 우리가 방에서 외출준비를 하고 있는 동안에도 시도때도 없이 방에 들어와 창문을 열거나 불을 껐습니다. 잠시 방을 비운 사이에도 우리의 움직임을 지켜보다가 멋대로 방 불을 끄는 등, 감시받는 듯한 불쾌함을 겪었습니다. 2. 지나친 간섭 둘째 날 밤, 어두운 정원에서 우리가 돌아오는걸 기다렸는지, 숙소 문 앞에 서서 제 인사도 무시하고 “지금 바로 조용히 자라, 그렇지 않으면 big trouble이 있을 것”이라며 노골적으로 협박했습니다. 우리는 이후 귓속말로 대화할 정도로 불안과 공포 속에 지내야 했습니다. 또한, 다이애나는 저희의 방을 청소한 후 방문을 잠그지 않았고, 요청했던 수건 교체는 해주지도 않았으며, 이불 대신 여름에 극세사 담요를 내주는 등 최악의 숙박 환경이었습니다. 그리고 추가로 저녁에 우버이츠 받으러 갈때, 다이애나가 윗층에서 저희를 지켜보는 순간은 정말 소름 돋았습니다...

The location was a good blend of proximity to transport and being in a comfortable location. We had been offered a room with a spa pool. It was a bathtub with jets. Even though we appreciated the visitors information that was provided but was just a little overwhelming. There was an ample variety of different options of what to eat for breakfast. The common areas were comfortable. Cream/milk was beginning to sour. Most food options were not diabetic friendly. There was a problem with us being able to reheat our leftovers. TV in room was not working and no WiFi available in there either. Room was cramped. And what’s this cleaning fee?!

The room was clean abd spotless, cozy, and had a very relaxing vibe. Diana is a kind and caring host—she made me feel right at home and made sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast was fresh and tasty every morning. I also loved how quiet the neighborhood was, yet still close to everything I wanted to explore in Vancouver. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, comfortable place to stay. I loved everything.

• John (9/5): A very welcoming host running a quirky and comfortable home - Diana's luxury Bed and Breakfast is a gem and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, finding the entire house to be very comfortable and clean. Diana gave us a good introduction to the city and was kind enough to allow us to store our luggage with her after checkout so that we could enjoy the last day of our holiday before leaving on our night flight. Her recommendation to walk to the Queen Elizabeth Park and eat at the Seasons in the Park restaurant was fabulous - the view of the city is breathtaking and the food very good quality reasonably priced. Breakfast won't suit everyone since it a fixed menu and served with all guests seated at a family table. We were happy with this and enjoyed meeting our fellow guests who were from USA and Holland.
• Whiskey (10/5): Diana's B&B - A place to see, and a place to be. - Diana was the most amazing and helpful person we met in Vancouver. We had only 1 day that my wife and I were able to enjoy Vancouver and Diana was the reason we had a great time. Not only is Diana a wonderful person and B&B proprietor she cares enough about her guests to make sure their stay is great with her and out and about. I didn't like that we only had one day with Diana. After checking in we walked all over Vancouver then went back around 9 pm. Unfortunately, we also had to leave by 330 am the next morning to catch our flight home.

• Kathleen (1/5): Poor accommodations - To begin with we paid in full but several months later she double booked. We had to argue with her to correct her error. Then only a couple of days prior to our visit she left a message that we had canceled. She had a made another mistake, The B&B should not be called luxury. It is so cluttered, I consider it a fire hazard, Breakfast was poor. In an exit she used foul language with me. {F....off} . In front of other people. Totally unacceptable

Takes the time to provide a wealth of local knowledge on where to go that is of interest to her guests, what to do that they will enjoy and how to get there. Her knowledge of Vancouver saved us a lot of money and we had the best stay. The location is very peaceful and quiet. Rooms were spotlessly clean and Diana always available in person on the property to assist or a quick reply away on message of out and about. Thank you Diana. • Susan (6/5): First visit to Vancouver. Beautiful city. - It was clean and felt very safe. Owner gives a lot of good information to help visitors to Canada. Very good. The property felt quite oppressive as it so full of ‘stuff’. Although a big place every inch of wall space, worktops etc was full of photos, ornaments, certificates and just so many things making it feel really closed in. Because it has been warm we were told not to open windows and outside blinds but this added to the closed in feel. I didn’t like it at all.

• Oliver (10/5): Very comfy stay in a B&B with lots of character in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown. - Located in a nice residential area, not far from downtown Vancouver (we had a car and it took about 15 min; a direct bus is in walking distance) with free street parking available. The house displays lots of souvenirs from the many travels of our host Diana and is sparkling clean and lushously decorated. Our room had a fridge and two bathrooms! The bed was super comfy. Diana shared lots of valuable tips for our stay and lots of interesting stories over breakfast. We appreciated the personal connection. A walk (20 min) or quick drive to Quenn Elizabeth park is highly recommended for the spectacular views of downtown Vancouver.

In addition, Diana herself. She not only rents, but welcomes personally, gives 100% helpful recommendations, conjures up a delicious breakfast and has an open ear for everything if you want.

I’m not sure what to say about the host / owner! (Diana) She is soooo friendly and helpful with very good English and makes you feel relaxed and at home. It was definitely the best breakfast we had at any of the B&B / Hotels we stayed at. Would highly recommend. For me, maybe too much like a dolls house but in a nice way! The fridge wasn’t working and there was a perfumed smelly thing in it!
• Anna (3/5): We did not feel comfortable - If anything: the price. Every inch of the house is packed with decoration like plastic flowers, masks, mirrors and former model details of the host. It is a really weird and absolutely not relaxing atmosphere. The bed was old and everything looked worn out. Absolutely not standard and not recommended. Other guests there felt the same.
• ASGHAR (6/5): To just pass a night is okay - Breakfast was just normal, just one plate with fruit , bread, egg, and one or two items with juice can not be categorized as good Breakfast, good Breakfast is always in some 4 to 5 star hotels where we get plenty of various, choices, and services by staff at Breakfast. Owner of the house wants dominance over the guest, he she assumes that it's her house and whatever is her selection, is best, but it never like this.

Diana is a super friendly and helpful host and a true globtroter! She gave us a lot of different tips on how to spend a beautiful day in Vancouver and served us a delicious breakfast. Diana offers a variaty of different and comfortable rooms, each equipped with a bathroom. We definitely will be back. Highly recomended host!

• Ralf (9/5): - Es ist eine sehr familiäre Unterkunft, wir hatten nur ein kleines Zimmer, konnten uns aber auch im Wohnzimmer aufhalten. Das Bad ist sehr klein. Das Frühstück wurde individuell am Tisch serviert, kein Buffet. Diana die Gastgeberin ist sehr hilfreich, äußerst sympathisch und auch sehr an ihren Gästen interessiert. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt hier nichts zu beanstanden. Es ist ein Bed & Breakfast, kein Hotel. Daher ist es im Haus etwas hellhörig, wenn morgens geduscht wird. Ansonsten alles bestens.

• Barry (6/5): disappointing, a one-time visit - Location good. I have been thinking about this review for some time. This B&B is not for everyone. It reflects the owner's tastes in that virtually every vertical and horizontal surface is completely covered with Kitsch, often mementos of her travels or certificates, plastic flowers, etc. This was to the extent that the breakfast table was nearly unusable because the tall plastic decorations in the center blocked not only sight but were in the way of items. There were relatively minor issues, such as a non-functioning refrigerator, requirement to remove shoes at the door necessitating trips up slippery wooden stairs in socks, poor room lighting, and so on. However, sadly, the main issue is the owner herself. She was very attentive and tried to offer advice but her helpfulness was more prescriptive than helpful. For example, she actively discouraged guests from going to a wonderful attraction, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, because it was "too expensive" (It is wonderful worth every penny, one of the highlights of our trip), instead directing guests via a very convoluted bus route to another bridge "where the locals go" because it was free. When asked about the convoluted bus routes she described and the possibility of using Uber or Lyft, she said "I don't use those" apparently placing her personal preferences ahead of guest conveniences. Her apparent need to direct guests activity according to her preferences was so prominent that I pointed out to her that she was doing guests a disservice when she discouraged visits to Capilano. I asked when she last visited there, she responded that she gets a free trip every year but hasn't had time to go. I regret writing this ad hominem review but feel a need to give future guests the information. We would not stay at the location again.

• Oliver (10/5): A lovely and quiet place to stay that is a short distance from the city and has a very helpful owner - The property was an amazing place, full of personality and various decorations/souvenirs from Diana's many travels around the world. The location is in a nice and quiet suburban area of the city that guarantees a good night's sleep but is also a short distance from Vancouver's city area, with the nearest bus stop a short walk away. Diana puts on a great continental breakfast in the morning and her sheer knowledge of the city and how to explore it at the lowest possible cost was instrumental in ensuring that I had an amazing time exploring it all on my own (I simply couldn't have done it as well without her help!). She even gave me a lift to Queen Elizabeth Park the morning of my last day before flying home so that I would have some more time to explore. My room was very cosy, quiet and clean, with complimentary water, crisps and biscuits on offer. The shower was great and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Diana is very sociable and it was great to learn about her own personal story in coming to Canada and starting up the B&B business. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is travelling to Vancouver for the first time! N/A

• Channa (10/5): - The special rooms, and all the facilities make the vacation nice and pleasant. But on top of all it was Diana - the "Queen of her kingdom." A pleasant, kind woman, a woman who traveled to many sites in the world, helps in everything and support you when it is needed . I really feel that we were lucky to stay in her unique place. Host can be very helpful, especially if you don't have specific plans. Location is a quiet, residential area, but an easy drive to Vancouver city area. Parking on the street right in front of the property and behind was easy to use and convenient. Nice to talk with other guests at breakfast. We had to wait for breakfast one morning because more guests were there, and there is seating only for 6 at the DR table. There was a table in the kitchen area, but host was not interested to use it.
