The hosts were such marvelous people looking after me so well ! It was a perfect choice for a getaway from all the stress of a city life and to find myself again Nothing to complain about.

Francois (10/5): Aller au Phare des Dunes - Pour notre premier voyage à Val-Comeau, nous voulions profiter au maximum de la proximité de la plage. Le Phare des Dunes est l’endroit parfait pour prendre une pause au bord de la mer. Situés directement sur la plage, les points de vue sont spectaculaires de chacune des pièces de la maison. Les hôtes sont attentionnés. Les déjeuners sont très bons et très copieux. Je recommande à tous de profiter d’un séjour au Phare des Dunes pour prendre le temps de se ressourcer. Le studio de yoga est lumineux et apaisant. Tout est parfait. Rien de négatif.

Jacinthe (7/5): - on pouvait entré un peu tard et c'était tranquille on ne les a pas vu a l'arrivé les propriétaires car il était tard mais au départ oui. Manque papier toilette, pas lumière dehors à l'entrée de la cour, poussière sur le luminaire dans la chambre, pas table de chevet et pas beaucoup d'espace.

Sharon (10/5): Very special place - Annie and Thomas are amazing and breakfasts were outstanding. We should have had dinner there but opted for a local restaurant-- big mistake. The house is on a wonderful beach. We also loved their dog. Stay there; it's very special and memorable! Room was a little small with our luggage. I would remove the chair and provide luggage stands. Otherwise, we loved it.

Nikta (5/5): Not a house that is suitable for B&B - We don’t usually stay at B&B but thought we give this one a try. The house is open to the second floor where our room was, so there is no separation between guest area and where the family lives. The bathroom was shared and had a heavy anti slip mat on the floor of the shower where all kinds of dirt can gather under it and was alway wet. The bed was not comfortable and made noise when we moved overnight. There’s was not even a chair in the room to sit on, and the outdoor guest seating area was open to the family’s living area,

Anna (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer! - We couldn't have asked for a better time spent at Phare des Dunes Lighthouse. Our room was cozy the bed was comfy and the private ensuite bathroom was beautiful. We had a choice of breakfast. First morning; Fresh brewed coffee, Pancakes made with huge local blueberries with maple syrup and bacon. Second morning; French toast with maple syrup and fresh sausage from the nearby butcher (delicious). It's hard to put into words how picturesque the beach is so I'll add a few photos. Thank you to our special hosts and new friends Marissa and Clifford. You made our stay relaxing and memorable. My sister and I look forward to seeing you again.

Ronald (8/5): Very nice place, but I prefer my own motel room. Several couples there loved it. - Beach right on the Atlantic Ocean. House was well decorated. Breakfast was excellent. No signage. Hard to find. I was expecting a small hotel in a restored lighthouse - it's not. It's a fancy B&B. When I happened to mention that I normally pay for my expenses by credit card, the landlady immediately became upset and demanded cash as per the confirmation e-mail (I knew that). I almost left, but was too tired to look elsewhere. (She gave me a break on the cash price) The place was too pretty. I'm just not into antiques, lace doilies and fluffy comforters.
