• Zweder (8/5): Prima verblijf bij Wannes op zolder - B&B Wannes beschikt zo te zien over 2 ruimtes (de suite en de kamer). Deze recensie gaat over de kamer. Gelegen op de 2e verdieping die met trappen bereikt moet worden. In de kamer 2 eenpersoonsbedden. Ik heb niet echt lekker geslapen, maar dat kan aan mij liggen. Prima badkamertje met douche en wasbak. Er is niet bezuinigd op de douchestraal en de warmte van het water. In de kamer kun je koffie en thee zetten; er is geen tv aanwezig. Met een afstandsbediening kun je de temperatuur in de kamer regelen. Het ontbijt is prima op maat; aan (van) alles is gedacht. De B&B is op loopafstand (< 15 minuten) van Leuven station en de andere kant op ben je in 15 minuten bij Abdij van Vlierbeek aan de buitenkant van Kessel Lo Het bed viel me tegen en ik vond de kamer niet echt gezellig

• Vanhooren (9/5): Prima verblijf met goede ligging, vriendelijk onthaal, mooie kamers en lekker ontbijt. - De mevrouw was heel vriendelijk en heeft ons goed ontvangen. De kamers, badkamer, leefruimte zijn heel mooi en comfortabel. De ligging is ok want op wandelafstand van het centrum van Leuven. We kregen een heel lekker ontbijt. Het is een beetje spijtig dat in één van de kamers er een tweepersoonsbed was ipv twee één persoonsbedden.

The breakfast was wonderful (I had it everyday). Location was perfect (10-min walk from the Leuven station). Magda is the sweetest host. All these factors made the trip successful! Definitely recommended.

• m (9/5): Fijn plekje in gezellig Leuven met superaardig gastgezin - We zijn hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaresse en haar zoon (Super)Benjamin in hun huis. Het is even wennen over de glazen overloop lopen maar dan kom je in een prima kamer met badkamertje. Schoon en lekkere bedden. Ontbijt is heerlijk en we mochten omdat het warm weer was in de tuin zitten wat een heerlijk plekje was. Echt een aanrader! Helemaal niets

The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is good. It's clear that the host values comfort, but not aesthetics. Everything worked but it wasn't exciting. The shower was ok.

Magda, the owner is a very kind person with a hearty, hospitable reception as we arrived and during our stay. Preparing an excellent breakfast every morning , cleaning the room everyday and present with a big smile if in case we need her …. The location is not to far from the train station and 20 min walk till the center of the beautiful city of Leuven You have a grocery shop nearby, and good frenshfries snack 3 min walk from the B&B. The room was very comfortable with a downstairs living area (with bathroom) and an upstairs loft with bed and couch. The breakfast was brought by Magda every day and was so generous! She was extremely flexible and adjusted to my own schedule, which was great. The room was serviced every day as well, so it was always clean. The lodging is in a quiet and pretty residential area about a 15-minute walk from the Leuven train station, so I thought it was convenient. I was pleased with everything in my stay and how everything was so nicely presented. Nothing

• Aleksandra (10/5): A place that you miss after the trip is over. - This family-run guesthouse (I would rather write guest-home) is exeptional! Very friendly, warm welcome of Magdalena and Geert. Fantastic support in all imaginable needs: travel details for trains (railway on strike at the time of my stay), city details, materials in the room, wifi was great, very quiet street. Rainy and cold days did not do any harm as the Wannes Suite was warm, dry, clean and very cosy. Honestly I felt I want to get back early from the city just to stay a bit longer in my suite! (Though of course Leauven proved to be absolutely interesting for sightseeing!). Magdalena's breakfasts placed at the door of the room on the set hour were astonishing - prepared with her full heart (and I am a difficult client due to my food intolerances). The hosts were full of care but at the same time very descreet. If I travel to Leauven again (hopefully) there is no other option for me to stay. No hotel could ever be close to Magdalena and Geert's standards. There is nothing I could write here.

• Lars (9/5): Great! Very happy stay. - Breakfast was excellent - served on a tray to our room - plentiful and very good. Shower was the best ever! We wanted to take it home with us LOL. There is excellent air conditioning in the bedroom level (but not on the lower level). A warning that it is two floors up and no elevator. Host is happy to help carry your luggage up the winding (but sturdy) stairs if you wish. Also a warning that the suite we stayed in (there is another and it may be different) is on two levels with the bedroom above. This means that you need to come down a flight of steep stairs to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night. That may be a problem for some.

I've only stayed for two nights, but was overwhelmed by the hospitality and effort that this family have put to this place. Great experience, great communication, great breakfast (which Magda prepares herself! She even woke up earlier so that I could eat it before my flight), great clean place. Seriously, one of the best experience I've had on Booking ever. Thank you ❤️

The bathroom is nice and clean. The breakfast was so big and generous that I always had my belly full before I started my day. Location is 12mins walking away from the train station. It is on the other side of the station so that it is much quiet. A local shop is around the corner to buy groceries. Overall everything is nice. The bed is slightly softer than my like, but this would be highly depending on personal liking.
