• Claire (9/5): Almost perfect - Beautiful apartments. Well located in the city center. The owner was very nice and efficient. The shower drain was blocked and the water started leaking in the apartment. This happened in the two out of three apartments that we had rented as a group.

She helped us to find the best places to visit and she was always available to help at any moment. We met Philippe the day after and he is as sweet as Carlotte. We felt super comfortable and we will come back because they treated us really, really good.

• Longmore (9/5): Excellent! - Highly recommended. A very well designed comfortable and fully equipped studio on the edge of the old town with multiple bars and restaurants nearby. We had a very warm in-person welcome and everything we needed to know was explained fully and simply. A great spot if you are visiting Aalst or using it as a basis for travelling around Belgium (its only a few minutes walk to the train station)

• Pivotal (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is up to modern standard. There is a convenient shop just three houses away form the location. The city is beautiful and has a lot of shops, bars and restaurants to chose from with a good and frequent connection to Brussels. The station is just a 7 min walk. As the bedroom is in front of the apartment and building, you do hear a bit of street noise, like at 6a.m. the street cleaning vehicle. The aparthotel is residing close to a sugar production plant that makes the area smells like processed sugar beets.

From beginning to end, our experience was nothing short of exceptional, and we can confidently say that this was one of the best stays we've had, especially with my wife. Great location, we were given a card for a free ice cream in a local shop, we really enjoyed our stay in Aalst 😊 Air con made a lot of noise during the night , bed sheets were a bit uncomfortable for some of us , a lot of noise from the apartment above, the guest was walking up and down a lot , but he stopped when we pointed it out to him.

Location is in the center of the old part of Aalst, but the apartment itself is very quiet and peaceful. The owners are personable and care that your stay is the best possible. The only small thing is that it would be a nice addition to have mosquito screens on the back window so it can be opened when it gets dark.
