• Marco (9/5): - Die Boutique Lodge Spycher ist ein echter Geheimtipp. Sue und Iwan sind Gastgeber aus Leidenschaft – aufmerksam, herzlich und mit einem feinen Gespür dafür, was den Aufenthalt besonders macht. Die Lage ist traumhaft: ruhig, sonnig und mit einer Aussicht, die man am liebsten einpacken würde. Perfekt, um sofort in den Ferienmodus zu fallen. Ein besonderes Highlight ist das Frühstück. Alles frisch, aus der Region und liebevoll angerichtet – das Brot ist einfach der Hammer. Kurz gesagt: Eine Lodge mit Charakter, geführt von Menschen, die ihren Job lieben. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die Saas-Fee von seiner schönsten Seite erleben möchten.

Von Anfang an hat uns die familiare Atmosphäre willkommen geheissen, als würden wir zu Freunden kommen. Das Haus strahlt Wärme aus, und man spürt die Liebe, die in jeder Ecke steckt. Absolutes Highlight: Der Jacuzzi auf der Terrasse. Nach einem langen Tag entspannten wir dort unter dem Sternenhimmel, während wir das warme Wasser und die Ruhe genossen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und empfehlen es jedem, der eine gemütliche, persönliche Auszeit sucht.

• Jarmo (10/5): - De eigenaren waren ontzettend gastvrij en aardig. Het ontbijt was fenomenaal, met veel lokale specialiteiten van uitzonderlijke kwaliteit (kazen, worst, yoghurt, honing etc). De kamer was super leuk ingericht, modern maar toch knus. Een 270 graden uitzicht in de kamer met jacuzzi. Ook het uitzicht vanuit de jacuzzi was geweldig (zie foto). Luxe was in de kleine details af te lezen.

• Ela (8/5): Un refugio de lujo entre glaciares - Todo fantástico. Lo mejor el trato personal, la decoración y las vistas. Y la posibilidad de hacer un late check out! El traslado desde el parking hacia el hotel. Tanto a la ida como a la vuelta lo tuvimos que hacer andando y fué bastante penoso. Hay un vehículo que puede hacer los traslados pero a la ida nunca nos informaron y a la vuelta solo hacia el servicio hasta las 11:00.

• Melody (10/5): Charming, comfortable accommodations provided a home base for us to explore this beautiful region. - Our hostess picked us up at the bus station and helped us with our luggage. She was warm and friendly, chatting and answering all our questions. Breakfast each day was excellent: a buffet with assorted breads (some baked on the premises) and spreads, meats and cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, and of course, coffee and tea. Our room was very comfortable. It was decorated with a personal touch that reflected the region. It included a balcony that looked out onto the mountains, and an excellent modern shower. The water pressure was strong, with plenty of hot water. At the end of our stay, we and our luggage were taken back down to the bus station. The town itself provided plenty of restaurants and shops. The only thing missing during our August stay were crowds of tourists. The town of Saas Fee is built on the side of a mountain, and the walkway from the driveway up to the hotel was steep. If you have mobility issues (for example, use a wheelchair or crutches) this might not be the spot for you. Having said that, I'm overweight, almost 70, and have 2 knee replacements, and I would happily stay here again. None of the places that we stayed in Switzerland had screens or air conditioning, but the temperatures were in the 80s and 90s during our August stay, so one or the other would be helpful.

First, the Owner’s are so wonderful and a joy to talk with!! Sue gave me a great recommendation of where to go based on what I said I was up for that day. The breakfast was so fresh and healthy with fruit, homemade granola and bread and serving local specialties!! The hotel is absolutely beautiful in a modern mountain lodge design. The views are stunning from your room and the bed and duvets beyond comfortable!! I highly recommend it!! The place is perfect!!

• Matthias (10/5): Saas Fee is a destination you don't want to miss if you love skiing. - The Boutique Lodge Spycher was an amazing find. It started with a friendly pick-up at the parking and continued with a warm welcome on the premises. The room that included an outdoor jacuzzi was beyond spectacular and soaking in the warm water after a day of skiing while enjoying the skyline of 5 mountains, that are higher than 4000m each, in the sunset, is an experience next to none. The room was well-equipped, clean, and with attention to detail. The breakfast is above perfection with self-made bread, self-made jam, and abundant local produce. Sustainability is high on the list. The hosts are extremely courteous, and attentive, and offer help whenever needed. Of note, the Lodge Spycher is on the more sun-exposed side of the village. Absolutely nothing. Walking to the Lodge Spycher includes a rather steep footpath

• Diana (10/5): Extraordinary place, look forward to next visit! - This was my first trip to Saas-Fee and I am so lucky to have discovered this hotel. The Boutique is very special -- the hotel is made from the heart, maintained from the heart and clients are treated with warmth from the heart, from beginning to end. I stayed in the Dom Suite, which is generously spacious, beautifully designed and appointed, and has a fantastic terrace view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel owners provide thoughtful touches to make your stay super cozy (wool blankets for terrace, yoga mat, candle and matches) and bath products are of high quality (Rituals). The sound-proofing in the hotel is excellent. The breakfast has many local and homemade products, was varied and copious. It was my birthday and Sue the owner made me feel very pampered on the day with a small gift. It was 10 minute walk to Aqua Allalin where i had a great massage. It was a delightful visit and I didn't want to leave. They have a little navette that picks you up/drops you at the central parking lot. Thank you to Sue and her husband for making the first visit to Saas Fee so memorably positive. The place was perfect for me, it is a couple of minutes walk behind the main center of the village so secluded and quiet. There is a little bit of a sloping hill to walk up to get to the hotel - highlighting for those who might be less ambulatory.

The room we selected (suite with spa), had a superb view on the village and the mountain. Definitely recommend it. The hotel is family owned, and they are super friendly and helpful. Honestly, nothing, the stay was perfect and matching our expectations.

Stowage room for ski equipment before the stairs towards the lodge. Pick-up service from the parking garage. The distance from/to the start of the slopes was still a good 20-minute walk with equipment.
