Primeiramente, o chalé, a localização, a vista e a acomodação eram impecáveis, extremamente aconchegante e acolhedor! Mas o que tornou a experiência ainda mais incrível foi toda a atenção, o cuidado, o carinho, a gentileza, a cordialidade e o acolhimento do Philippe, o melhor anfitrião que já existiu! Nossa viagem foi uma surpresa para eu pedir a minha namorada em casamento no lugar que ela sonha em conhecer desde pequena, a Suíça e os Alpes Suíços, e eu pude contar com toda a ajuda do Philippe para tornar esse momento ainda mais especial com um jantar à luz de velas e lareira acesa com o melhor fondue que já provamos na vida para celebrar esse momento que vamos nos lembrar para sempre! O drink com os aperitivos e a sobremesa também eram deliciosos, nunca provamos nada igual! No dia seguinte ele também preparou um café da manhã inesquecivelmente delicioso! A atenção dele para com todos os mínimos detalhes nos fez sentir extremamente queridos e com o coração acolhido. Além de tudo isso, o cuidado e a preocupação dele conosco foi tanta que ele fez questão de nos buscar na estação de trem quando chegamos para nos levar até o chalé e de nos levar para a estação de trem no dia que fomos embora para pegarmos o trem a tempo. Muito obrigado, Philippe, por fazer parte desse momento tão especial de nossas vidas e por torná-lo ainda mais especial! Você fez a realização dos nossos sonhos serem ainda melhores do que havíamos sonhado e você com certeza ficou marcado na nossa história! Como dissemos a ele, fazemos questão de falar sobre o chalé e sobre ele para todas as pessoas que conhecemos e fazer a melhor avaliação possível. E também como prometemos, com certeza voltaremos no futuro! A experiência de se hospedar no L'ours Bleu com o Philippe é uma experiência que todos deveriam ter na vida. Voltaremos em breve! • Reto (7/5): Great if you are looking for a bed and breakfast where the breakfast is charged seperatly - Beautiful view We did not realize that this was a bed and breakfast and most of the photos were common areas. This is a house where die owner live and they rent out 3 of the rooms. We usually look for more privacy and maybe we just didn’t read the description correctly. If it would have been called bed & breakfast, it would have been more clear.

Leider war das Haus ausgebucht. - Ein Frühstück mit Spezialitäten aus der Region, nur selbstgemachte total leckere Marmeladen, liebevoll angerichtet und mit Herz ❤️ serviert. Das Quartier ein Traum, man kann sich wie zuhause fühlen. Wunderschöne Gegend und eine Unterkunft laden zum Wiederkommen ein. Vielen Dank an die sehr netten und tierlieben Eigentümer. • Kathryn (10/5): Perfect stay for hiking/trail running - The view from our room was amazing ! The hosts were very welcoming and gave us lots of advice about what to do in the surrounding area. A great location for hiking or to visit the glacier 3000. We had the Chinese fondue with homemade gratin, salads and sauces on our first evening and it was delicious!! The rooms were super comfortable and great WiFi connection too. We had a lovely stay and will be back for sure. Thank you !

• Marshall (10/5): Incredibly relaxing and charming, with two incredible hosts! - Phillipe and Arlette were incredibly kind and accomodating to us, including picking us up from the train station, giving us recommendations for hikes/restaurants, and giving us a ride back from the restaurant when it was raining. They truly went above and beyond what a normal host would do. The room was small (just like any room in Europe), but it had an amazing view, and it was incredibly quiet and tranquil. The breakfast was fantastic and included ingredients local to the region. I can’t recommend the place highly enough. The location is a little far from the city, but that’s what makes it so peaceful.

• Oakleigh (10/5): Absolutely wonderful stay: really friendly and warm hosts, amazing food, and great location - My daughter and I spent two nights at the Chambre d'hôte l'Ours Bleu in late February 2024 and I can confidently say that this is one of the best places I have every stayed. The chalet itself is wonderful, with a lovely warm atmosphere and very comfortable and cosy rooms. We had a room with a balcony and a breath taking view on the mountains. From the moment we arrived, the hosts, Arlette and Philippe, made sure our stay was perfect. They picked us up from the station, provided us with all necessary tourist and public transport information, making sure we got our discount card and telling us all about the region. In the evening they offered us a local aperitif and told us about the history of les Diablerets. Arlette even made a very cute mocktail for my daughter, and brought out comics and games for her. The breakfast was simply delicious, all home made with local products (jam, cheese, yoghurt, cereals, bread), and my daughter got to make her own crepes and fill them with a range of home made jams. On the second day we had a lovely Swiss variation of French toast. Philippe's fondue Fribourgeoise was also incredible, and the we had the most lovely table light by candelight. The whole time we were made to feel really and home and enjoyed some great conversations with Arlette and Philippe. They drove us back down to the village the day we left and arranged for a shop to keep our luggage so we could enjoy a last morning of ice skating (and they drove us to the ice rink as well!) I would absolutely recommend this place for families with older children or for couples. We cannot wait to go back! We liked everything, it was really perfect.

• Gabriel (10/5): A cosy & friendly place to stay within a picturesque area (would love to come again!) - Our trip was enhanced by Philippe's friendly hosting & the chalet was filled with hotel quality facilities. Philippe was very accommodating to our needs; a duo of friends here to explore the mountains! We were very impressed with the atmosphere/character of the place & the view from the balcony. We used the chalet to crash after long days of exploring the nearby towns & sites. Our only pitfall was not getting a hire car for our time as some late night walks to the chalet from the train station took their toll (on one of us..) however there is a great bus service through the locality that we depended on during our time here. We were fortunate enough to have good weather (sunny, snow on mountains, clear night skies), with all places open and quiet on the 'tourist' end, if felt like we had the region to ourselves a bit. I could honestly write for ages on this place & our fabulous trip. But to cut it short, I can only suggest that you book this place or somewhere near to enjoy this area of Switzerland. I hope this helps :) Nothing, the place was perfectly suitable for our needs, we would stay again!

• Jonathan (10/5): The perfect place to stay and eat in Les Diablerets - So this review propably will sound like one of those fake-reviews. In terms that everything was more than perfect. We traveled with our small dog by car and stayed here for 2 nights in summer. Stupid us: should have been at least four. The motto of Philippe and Arlette says it all: we think Switserland should be more welcoming to our guests, that's why we want to do everything we can. Anyway, this is what we liked about staying here: - The welcome: a drink with extensive info about the region. Followed by the best home made cheese fondue by Philippe (Freiburger-style :) ). Yes you have to pay for the dinner, but it's fantastic value for money looking at the nearby restaurants and the stunning view from the balcony. The cheese fondue was one of the best we ever had. - Our dog was much loved by both Philippe and Arlette. He felt home allright. - The breakfast. Holy moly. home cooked, too much fantastic local stuff. And again: the view. - The room. Clean, quiet, relaxed. Everything you want for chilling out. There are probably more things we can say, but this couple truly knows how to spoil you. We were more than happy we could be their guests. Merci Philippe and Arlette! Nothing at all.

The owners were incredibly kind and helpful and went to the trouble of making me a great gluten-free & lactose-free breakfast. Nothing!

Hotel is operating by a couple who are very nice and live in a quality life style. The room is decorated very nicely with awesome views of the glacier mountains. The hotel owner is really friendly and the cookie and breakfast is delicious. It is a bit far away from the restaurant.
• Tristan (10/5): 10/10 would stay again. - Very, very kind hosts. Beautiful location - up the hill a bit out of the center of town (~1km uphill) but that's why it has such beautiful views. There's a footpath cuts straight down the hill that makes it a quicker trip than maps suggest. The room was very cute and comfortable, with a great balcony. Lovely breakfast; bread and croissants picked up from the bakery that morning with homemade jams, good cheese. Would not change a thing.

The room is small but it and the facilities are in excellent shape and beautifully set up. Breakfast on the veranda/common balcony was wonderful, the dinners Philippe prepared (on request, Fondue and Raclette) delicious. Arlette and Philippe were so nice, picking us up and dropping us again at the railstation in town.
