• Daniele (7/5): Should be called "Bed and Bathroom", that's what they offer - The room is a good size, comfortable bed, a decent bathroom with toiletries and towels. Easy to check in, very good location. Overpriced for what they offer. Although it is called a 'Bed and Breakfast', there was no breakfast, and they don't even have plates or cutlery, just a mini fridge and a microwave, with four cups for the coffee machine. It is an old building, so you can hear some noises from the bedroom above, but nothing major. Could have some more furniture to support personal items. On one of the days, someone from Townhall was there needing to visit every room and take pictures of it, even with us inside, which was weird, but I figure that if we weren't there, they would have gotten in any way without letting us know.
• Alena (10/5): Easy check-in, helpful host, perfect stay. - Perfect location and easy contactless check in. The contactless check-in was super easy, and the host was very responsive and helpful, replying to all my messages promptly. I asked for parking suggestions and they provided multiple options within walking distance. The only minor hiccup was that I had to circle the block a few times because the hotel name wasn’t visible on the building. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

Pas de machine à café dans la chambre ! Difficile de se maquiller avec l'éclairage de la salle de bain !

Emplacement très chaleureux, la chambre et salle de bain donnent une belle impression haut de gamme. Il n’y avait pas de machine à café donc on est sorti s’en payer un bon!

• Sophie M. (8/5): Chambre propre, proche centre vieux Québec. - Nous avons été hébergés à l'auberge Château des Tourelles, suite à un problème à l'hôtel des Grisons, 1 semaine avant notre arrivée. Chambre très propre, calme et pas trop loin du centre du vieux Québec. Pas de personnel sur place mais très réactif par mail et prévenant. Auberge Château des tourelles : Heureusement qu'on était au 1er étage (3 marches) car les escaliers pour accéder aux parties communes ou aux autres appartements sont vraiment abrupts mais le personnel nous en avait informés. Mettre une bouilloire dans la chambre serait très pratique.

• Jeff (4/5): Building and room neglected. Needs attention and maintenance. Misleading description its not a hotel - Location was perfect for walking around Quebec City. Several basic items that one expects from a hotel/B&B accommodation was missing. These items were communicated to the property services team who indicated that they would be addressed immediately, but after 4 days none of the issues were resolved. Would also recommend that Booking.com review this accommodation with health and safety in mind. Our room was a potential death trap if there was a fire in the hall. The windows were screwed into the frame and could not be opened. Electric sockets were loose and tape sealed any ventilation around the window frames.

The first room had cups, but no coffee maker. The second room had a coffee maker, but no pods to put in it. The second room also had a dirty towel left behind and the light in the bathroom flickered nonstop.

The room was modern and the size of the room and the amenities were great and very clean. The communication to the access code for the building and for the room was very simple. While there was no on-site parking, the options were very close. The water pressure for the toilet was very low, once you flushed it, it took 15 minutes to fill back up. I'm not sure if it was classified as a bed and breakfast, but there was no breakfast nor a common area to have a breakfast; which is fine as there are many wonderful restaurants to experience.

• Glenda (8/5): Excellent location with excellent communication. - Excellent location to walk everywhere. It was a 20 minute walk from the train station. The room was large and very clean, beds were comfortable, the huge bathroom, with excellent shower and lots of towels, was well separated from the beds. The table with four chairs provided a place to sit and eat. The area was very quiet. Auto check-in went well. Excellent communication from the booking staff. They even checked the day before departure to ensure that I had received the codes, which was appreciated. The room was very warm and stuffy. The windows don't open so there is no fresh air. The loud air conditioner did not output enough cool air to cool down the room or freshen the air. The day time temperature was only around 20C. Two of the coffee cups are too tall to fit the keurig machine. The room could use a full length mirror and glasses for water, wine, etc.

• Mengling (9/5): Simply great. Except for the weather - Room design and style. I travel a lot, and this was one of the few "Wow!" moments when I saw a room. I'd move there, permanently ;). Location is also phantastic. Close to most sights in Quebec, but nevertheless quiet. No big issue, but the electric system is from the last century, very few plugs, none near the bed. Bring a distribution socket, at least for USB

• Jennifer (6/5): Nice room that does not actually function as advertised - Very comfortable bed with nice bedding and towels. The shower was awesome. The room was clean and the location was excellent. The automatic door locks were quirky - if we had known the tricks to using these particular ones it would have saved us a half hour out in the rain. Also, the bathroom is tiny - fine for us but if you are very tall or carrying any extra weight it would be a problem - it makes a cruise ship bathroom seem roomy. Our big flat screen TV with streaming never worked - one of the managers came by to replace the batteries in the remote but could not make the TV actually function. He said a tech person would be by to fix it but that did not happen during our stay. Also, the coffee mugs in the room were tall and skinny and did not fit in the Keurig coffee machine - I had to dismantle the drip tray to make it function at all. Also, the shower has body soap, shampoo and conditioner in a refillable caddy. The conditioner is too thick to dispense so was not usable. The unit is very pleasant and nicely renovated but I don’t think anyone has ever checked to see if it actually functions because it does not.

Love the high ceiling, painted windows and the original oil paintings. - Perfect location, clean rooms, comfy beds, smooth communication with check-in/check-out. Greet for the value. I hope the heaters in the bedroom can be set by WiFi so the hotel staff can heat up the rooms before guests' arrival. It took me 2-3 hours to heat the room from 50F to 69F. Another thing is about the wall outlet - one of them is behind the bed so we had to move the bed to reach the outlet - the guests on the lower level could have been annoyed by the noise of moving bed.

Proximity to the Chateaux Frontenac was great. Price was very good considering we were in the high season. Family of 4, 2 adults and 2 adolescents. I would suggest this establishment to anyone who doesn't mind stairs, and who is autonomous. Fantastic weekend, thank you. Everything was great.

• Carla (9/5): Simple but clean and very well located :) - The location is excellent, right in the center of the old town, a short walk from the chateau. There is a parking lot nearby (24$/day). Communication with the staff was prompt and kind. We were able to check in a few hours earlier than planned without any problems. Everything was very clean. The bedding was nice and comfortable. No luxuries, but an excellent place to rest after sightseeing in Quebec City. We stayed in room 02 and had to climb some stairs. It wasn't a problem for us as we had little luggage, but be aware that it can be difficult for people with reduced mobility or heavy suitcases.
