• Rob (3/5): Not worth it. - there was free parking It reminded me to never book an unprofessional "air bnb" instead of a hotel to save a little money ever again. I just wanted to book and turn up. I even let them know what time I would be there and when I arrived they weren't even there, there was no ring doorbell or cameras but luckily someone that knew the owner walked passed. The place needs a complete refurb and there is even strange signs asking men to pee sitting down. I'm sure you'll be much more comfortable at a hotel that is ran by professionals.
• Herman (10/5): - Wij waren op doorreis met onze fiets en hebben hier een nacht geslapen. Zeer gastvrije ontvangst met een gezellige woonkamer voor de kinderen. Heerlijk ontbijt in de ochtend. Als je veel bagage mee moet nemen is het lastig dat je niet met schoenen naar boven mag.

• Marion (7/5): Familienzeit - Das Haus ist liebevoll renoviert und die Einrichtung mit Liebe zum Detail gewählt. Die frohe Farbenwahl strahlt Energie und Kraft aus, die im Garten und im Haus zu spüren sind . Die Fotogalerie trifft genau den Charme der Unterkunft. Persönlich hat es mir die alte, knarrende Treppen angetan. Für andere Gäste könnte die Benutzung störend sein, wenn das WC im EG in der Nacht aufgesucht werden muss oder bei sehr früher Abreise das Gepäck die Treppe hinuntergetragen wird. Aber dafür liegen in den Zimmern für geräuschempfindliche Gäste Ohrstöpsel aus. Nicht nur die Zimmer sind sehr sauber gewesen. So war es überall, im gesamten Haus. Am Anreisetag gab eine kleine Überraschung. Für uns Gäste wurde eine eine Kleinigkeit auf dem Kopfpolster gelegt. Mehr wird dazu nicht verraten. In der Früh steht (immer) ein Frühstücksbuffet zur Verfügung, dass sich für zwei Reisende (eigene Familie), wie ein Schlaraffenland angefühlt hatte. Das Brot hat ihnen sooo gut geschmeckt und wurde fast nie enden wollend von einer sehr lieben Mitarbeiterin immer wieder nachgereicht. Das war bestimmt eine Ausnahme. Der Frühstücksraum wurde mit den eigenen Blumen aus dem Garten geschmückt. Für mich ist es befremdlich, dass bei der Benutzung eines Gemeinschaftsbad, Handtücher, Zahnbürste und -Zahnpasta nicht im Badezimmer bleiben können. Da im Zimmer keine Möglichkeit besteht, Handtücher nach der Dusche aufzuhängen.

Be careful because they have a 'get out of jail free card' because they email you confirmation of stay and, at this point, state that the place is old and noisy. I had to leave early because I was so exhausted and the owner is yet to credit my account. Avoid!

• Kyoko (9/5): Charming house with a friendly host - Great host and a charming house in a quiet neighborhood. A cosy living room on the ground floor. Everything was clean and well maintained. The free parking space in the back was good, so that I didn't have to worry about street parking. Sharing bathroom could have been an issue if I had to share with other occupants. When I stayed, it was just me so no problem at all.

Please be mindful of the noise levels when staying in Switzerland, especially between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. It is important to respect the peace and quiet of the community during these times. If you plan to go to sleep earlier or wake up later, I recommend using earplugs to ensure a good night's rest.

• Franko (10/5): A good location for solo travelers - I was really happy with my stay at Kalimera in Pratteln. I stayed a few days for a concert and for exploring Basel. Location is really good. Z7 arena is only a few minutes walk away, same goes for train station and convenience store. The room was clean and well prepared. The staff working at Kalimera is really nice. Overall, im happy with my stay there :) I recommend it to other people

Location is good, short walk to the rail station, restaurants and Z7. Early morning stairwell noise but to be fair I forgot to put my earplugs in
• Angela (10/5): Marvelous! I can't wait to come back!! - This was an absolutely beautiful and exceptionally comfortable place to stay! Karin, the lovely hostess, was very quick and thorough in her communications, and extremely resourceful with directions and transport advice. (This was especially helpful for my late check-in, after a much-delayed flight.) The house was spotlessly clean, very bright and inviting, and situated in a charming garden with fresh fruits and flowers, and outdoor seating areas for the guests. The bedroom was large and filled with natural light, and was also very thoughtfully arranged, including a seating area with a table and 2 chairs, each a with colourful, throw for cosiness, and a modern wardrobe space, which offered plenty of clothes storage. A pair of slippers and a dressing gown were also provided for each guest's comfort, and they were welcome accessories when crossing the hallway to the shared bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and included fresh coffee and a selection of teas, as well as homemade jams, a nice variety of fresh breads, meats, cheeses, fresh fruits (many from the garden!), and yoghurts, as well as fresh eggs cooked on request. The kitchen was equipped and available for the use of guests, although I did not have any time to avail myself of that facility. And, there was a bright and inviting communal living room with tv, books, and children's toys, and comfortable seating for guests' enjoyment. I look forward to returning here, and will hope to schedule an extended stay in this utterly lovely and peaceful guest house. I highly recommend it to everyone who values a clean, convenient, and comfortable location, and appreciates a thoughtful, kind, and detail-orientated hostess! An absolute jewel!

The house was easy to find, sat nav takes you right there. Also the area was nice and quiet, so perfect for a good night's sleep. Nothing.
