The homemade jams and muffins were delicious and they were very generous with the portions and even offered a take away bag with extra treats if we wanted. Thank you for an enjoyable time. • Cecilia (10/5): Truro is a very nice town. I enjoyed walking in Victoria Park. I also visited the Millbrook Cultural - Jennifer was the perfect hostess. She made me feel like I was staying with a friend. Her daily breakfast was a beautiful way to start the day. She also suggested things to do in the area. She and her husband, Justin, make a very nice couple, and both take the time to make their guests feel welcomed. Thanks for everything!

• Alex (10/5): A beautiful, cozy home near the heart of Truro! - Jenny and Justin were so lovely and we had a great time! The breakfast was absolutely incredible, and Abby the dog was such a sweetheart! I can't think of a single thing we didn't like!
• Louise (9/5): This was such a lovely surprise, so much better than a hotel stay, - Jen and Justin were lovely hosts. You feel like an old friend the moment you entered the home. The house is very clean and all of it is at your disposal. Tea and Coffee is available anytime of day just ask. Jen makes wonderful blueberry muffins each day, which are left under glass for the taking. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated, beds are very comfortable, and the water pressure is great. I look forward to my next visit

Hosts was friendly and interesting but quite anxious about possible damage. Listing should state rule that shoes be removed inside.

It would have been helpful to have confirmed that we could use the lounge and make a cup of tea in the kitchen. Every B&B is different and not all provide such facilities for guest use but this is a small thing.

• Matthew (10/5): - We had any amazing stay. Justin and Jenny were warm and welcoming hosts. As it was a public holiday they kindly rang around restaurants to check where would be open. Their home was clean and full of charm and the room was huge with a comfy bed and a good bathroom. We liked that we were asked to take off our shoes it felt like we were entering someones home rather than sanitised hotel and it ensure the house was super clean despite our comings and goings. Their dog was very friendly and the breakfast was to die for! Thanks again. N/A

• PAUL (3/5): We would not recommend this B&B. - We did not have breakfast because we needed to leave early. But, we were still charged the full rate, i.e. no deduction for missing breakfast. We were given two muffins, which were quite good. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, and the beds made a lot of noise. The house smells strongly of dog.

• Andrew (9/5): A very homely and welcoming place for an overnight stay - The breakfast was great, all freshly cooked with nice choices. We had fruit and yoghurt, orange juice, bacon, & scrambled eggs with toast, blueberry muffins and coffee - - a perfect start to the day! Jenny, our host, made us very welcome and gave us ideas of where to eat at night. We went to Nook & Cranny at her suggestion and had a lovely meal, we were able to sit outside as it was a nice evening and the food was delicious there. We were happy with everything!

Leider musste man auf der Straße parken, was aber kein Problem war, da zur Zeit Schulferien waren. Die Stadt Turo hat uns nicht gefallen.

• Michael (9/5): Friendliest place we stayed in on a three week tour of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia - After a tour involving six hotels it was a change to stay in a quiet B&B in a residential area of Truro. The owner and her husband were very helpful during our short stay; she is very friendly and went out of her way to please. Recommended a very good place for dinner in the town and made a lovely breakfast, including a pot of Yorkshire Tea for this traveller who was missing his home comforts! Couldn't improve on this for a short stay

• Debra (9/5): Wonderful, warm hosts at a great location! - The host and her dog (Abby) were great, and we enjoyed meeting and breaking bread with fellow travelers. The bathroom was also nice and roomy. We liked that we were within walking distance of the park (with a waterfall) and from the main area of town where we could grab food. We booked the room with 2 twin beds, and they were a bit short for my partner. You may have some trouble sleeping comfortably if you're taller than 5'8".

The decor of the whole place was beautiful and charming. Jennifer and Justin were friendly and most welcoming. We decided to stay in Abide Within during our arrival and departure in Truro. The close proximity to the train station was a plus for us. A charming place and we had a great experience and our fellow lodgers were wonderful too. • Charlotte (3/5): Should be called Abide by my rules!! - The room was very clean and the host let us check in 30 mins early. A good recommendation for dinner. We had to take our shoes off at the front door which was unnecessary in dry conditions with no muddy footwear in sight. What was really ridiculous was we were told they would lock the front door at 10pm or a little later when everyone was in. We came back at 10.30 and were locked out. We had to ring the door bell twice and the man who answered it complained that we were disturbing him as he had to be up at 6am. Really poor customer service and when I complained about it in the morning, I was told nobody had ever minded previously and I got no apology.

The dog Gabby was a bit of a surprise but she is respectfil nonetheless and we didnt see any hair (I believe she cannot climb the stairs).

• Michael P A (10/5): A home within a home. - A warm hospitality from the owners Justin and Jenny. The room, although small, was comfortable for both of us, including our luggage. Breakfast was an opportunity to meet other guests and our conversations were indeed pleasant and meaningful. The location is within walking distance of the beautiful Victoria Park. NA
• Robin (10/5): If you are looking for a comfortable place with a warm welcome, this is the place to stay. - The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. Jenny was there to welcome us and advise on where to walk and go to eat. The cooked breakfast was delicious and included really good homemade blueberry muffins.

• Lucia (10/5): Lovely place to stay - We selected Truro as a base to visit various locations, to see the tides on Bay of Fundy and the Annapolis valley. The town itself has its own charm with a park to visit, but we did not have enough time to do it. The property is located in a residential area, easy to find and easy to park the car. The hosts, Jenny & Justin, are very welcoming. Our room was spacious, charming, crystal clean. One can see that every detail has its own importance and meaning. The breakfast was delicious; the homemade blueberry muffin, yummy & yummy!. We strongly recommend this property.
