• Chioato (9/5): - The owners were very welcoming and supportive whenever you have a need. The location is great for skiers as it is very close to the ski chairlift "le courbeau". You can even see it from the window. The breakfast was really good with local products and handmade bread & tasty jams. If you want to live a full mountain experience this is the place to be! The atmosphere is very cozy and familiar. The bathroom is in common between two different guest bedrooms and can be overcrowded especially in the morning. The chalet is all in wood so it can be bit noisy but this is part of the chalet experience, so not a big problem.

• Simon (10/5): Great holiday accommodation for a family or small group of friends - We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday at Le Castor. Didier and Ines were great hosts who were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. This is a lovely traditional chalet in a great location very close to Le Corbeau chairlift (almost ski in/ski out) and only a few minutes walk down to the shuttle bus that takes you a short distance to the gondola up to La Folleuse. Didier makes his own bread and preserves for breakfast (my favourite was the Rhubarb & Ginger). Oh, and do ask about the great wines produced within the family. We would definitely recommend a stay at Le Castor.

• Renauld (9/5): Très agréable - Pour commencer, l’accueil chaleureux et les échanges avec les propriétaires. L’ambiance chalet de montagne comme on aime! Pour certaines personnes, les sanitaires sur l’étage à partager avec une autre chambre peut déranger mais la propreté et la proximité font la différence. En tout cas, ça ne nous a pas dérangé du tout !

• Sigi (10/5): Like home - It was a very welcoming chalet with a kind home owner. I wasn't able to check-in on time, so the owner left the door open for me so we could enter in the night. The breakfast was home made jam and apple juice with different kinds of swiss and french cheese, bread and coffee, served by the home owner. It felt like you lived there The curtains don't offer a lot of privacy, they could've been bigger.

Our host was really energetic and we had a nice talk,he gave us good tips about the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good, it was simple but even the bread was homemade and really tasty. Our host said they also do mountain biking and arrange ski trips in winter. Planning to come back next winter. Road was real steep, if you don’t feel comfortable driving, drive while there is still sunlight.

• Jodie (10/5): Wonderful hosts and great value - Didier is great. The house is so welcoming and super cosy. It’s a 5 minute walk into town to get to the restaurants and super close to the ski lifts. Perfect place to start a hiking route as well. Very much recommended for a value for money stay!

• Paul (9/5): Everything we needed for a short weekend stay - Our stay at Le Castor was great. I needed accommodation for an ultra running event and Didier & Ines served us well. Value for money is great. Don't expect a five-star resort, but rather a cozy alpine style chalet with the quirks that come with that. The view from the balcony is amazing, as is the homemade breakfast with freshly-baked bread. The owners are very accommodating and Didier went out of his way when picking us up from the nearest town in the valley after public transport stopped working. Given the price/quality ratio, there is not much not to like. If I would have to name something: towels are definitely up for replacement. Also an observation about Morgins: the town is not very well served by public transport (at least in summer). Take this into account with your travel plans.
• Kabir (1/5): BAD STAY, INCONSIDERATE OWNERS - We have been travelling extensively and staying in Air B&B / hotels / VRBOs for two decades now. Never in our life we felt such gross inconsideration and insensitivity of the owners. We stayed in a room that should have never been eligible for guest stay. It could maximum be termed as a store room in a house that is probably 50 years old and have not seen any renovation. The bed, linen quality, towels etc. were all sub par and we felt that owners took advantage of our situation where we required a last minute booking due to a sudden schedule change. And there was NO balcony as stated by another reviewer. This space should not qualify as a space to be used by guests.

• Vytautas (3/5): Poor - It was shown kitchen in the pictures as well as mentioned within facilities so see brought our dinners because of specific meal. However upon arrival we were told that we cannot use kitchen for food preheating and they told that on their website, which is not booking and not mentioned anywhere, it is mentioned that kitchen cannot be used. So we had to throw all our food away. So this misleading has costed us a lot. Also we asked if we can use kitchen table to play some board games and this option was forbidden. We were told that we can use only our rooms. From place like this we would be expecting more like home feeling.

Breakfast was just amazing and the smell of fresh bread in the evening made me so excited to wake up. Really nice in front of the house too enjoying the sun and the views of the village.
