The hosts are incredibly kind and caring. They prepared us a delicious breakfast with pancakes and blueberries — it was the best way to start the day! The atmosphere is cozy, peaceful, and comfortable, just like home. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

• Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfasts were so delicious, I loved the little historic details about the place. Finding a “hidden passage” was a fun little treat. Tom and Charlotte are the best hosts and eager to accommodate us in any way possible. They made us truly feel at home! The only downside was the water temperature on the shower didn’t get as hot as I’d have liked. But, seriously, if that’s the only possible negative then count this as an excellent stay!

Charlotte and Tom are lovely people, I felt like I was receiving love from my granny (unfortunately, I don't have her anymore), so it was very heart warming for me. I will sure come back! The only thing to add is that I could hear other people talking during the night, but I could sleep vey well.

The owners, who run the place by themselves, are absolutely delightful to talk to and deal with. My room (I had the same one both times) was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pillows were so nice I had to check the brand so I could look for them myself. Breakfast is pretty much made to order, everything is fresh, homemade and fantastic. Although my second visit was for an event in Lethbridge it was worth the extra drive to stay at the Country Barn and I would make that drive anytime I’m visiting Lethbridge. Thank you for a wonderful, restful stay.
• Justine (8/5): Perfect place to disconnect - We liked the unusual location and the B&B experience, which is a change from the hotel. It was a bit like visiting our grandparents☺️Charlotte and Tom are adorable and available. The place was very cosy, with a spacious upstairs where you could read by the fire or play chess. There's a wide selection of board games. Breakfast was copious and we could choose the time and even what we wanted to eat from among 7 different breakfasts. The bedding was too soft for us such as the pillows but it is a personal feeling. Some people may prefer soft than hard.

• Murray (10/5): Quiet comfortable with lovely hosts and great breafast - Quiet, lovely hosts, quaint converted barn with interesting old features and antiques. Comfortable room and bed with a lot of thought to make guests welcome. Comprehensive breakfast choices. Location subjective as 14/15 kms from restaurants but peaceful and suited us. For us a little far to go to eat but i believe you could bring food to prepare if you plan and communicate with hosts. Not sure if alcohol is welcome and would be polite to check first

The views from the balcony out over the grasslands was beautiful and I sat there as the sun went down. There was no facility for making coffee unless one went into the kitchen. Communal facilities such as a lounge and TV are not really used when there is more than one party. Smell in air from cattle farming

• Paul (10/5): Beyond excellent! 11/10 - This is like spending time with your favourite grandparents who will make every moment magical! The rooms are traditionally decorated (rustic). Excellent taste throughout. Your breakfast is cooked to your liking, and is far beyond anything you would ever get in a hotel! Having to leave!
• Brian (10/5): Another jewel in Sterling! - First time in a B and B. Accomodations superb. Breakfast choices all tasty. Ever tried pumpkin waffles? Very good. Parking in back or front. I had the balcony room. Loved it. It had its own A/C. Backyard lawn very large with picnic tables and a fire pit. Interior with authentic antiques. Great bed and linens. The best thing were the Hosts, Tom and Char. There was nothing I didn't like.

• Don (10/5): Really fun and enjoyable. - We loved the barn: the building, the decor, the linens, and the hosts! It is a welcoming, relaxed setting and we felt it was established for people just like us. This is minor but a dinner restaurant in Stirling would make this accomodation perfect. Raymond is just a few minutes drive away but we do love to walk to dinner and back.
• Jason (9/5): Superb - Great homemade breakfast. We forgot something and they called us and we arranged for them to ship it to our house. Very helpful and caring hosts. Charlotte and Tom were great! There was no hot water in our bathroom sink at night, but we had some in the morning so that was odd. Otherwise everything else was great.
