Doru (9/5): A quiet night in Obergesteln - The accommodation was quiet and tidy. Late access is possible the key being deposited in a key safe. Breakfast is included. Separate payment of some local tourist tax per day is necessary. Do not understand why it is not possible to charge this together with the room price. Probably Booking.com would charge some percent of this tax as well but still easier than having to pay separately. The room was in then second floor having to carry the luggage upstairs.

Matthew (9/5): Superb - Gem of a place only 5 mins from Furka pass. Motorbike friendly. Very nice quiet area surrounded by mountains. Friendly staff and comfortable room. Perfect for one night stop on motorbike tour of Switzerland Nothing
Richard (8/5): Good stay but could of done with English written welcome and instructions, restaurant was shut! - Great location for touring, clean comfortable room and beds. breakfast was nothing special just the bear minimum, and a short time slot 8.30 to 9.30am. no reception, restaurant not open but luckily the hotel across the road was open and very accommodating, non English written information and guidance in the room!

Damian (10/5): Perfect for a run up the neufenen pass - 3 lads from the UK on motorbikes. We were welcomed with a smile and pleasant staff. They couldn’t be more helpful. They even let us use their grill to bbq out dinner. Room was spacious and had good facilities. No bar, or food close by. The bar was bottled beer some nice tap beer would’ve of been great.
