• Eliana (5/5): Soggiorno buono ma migliorabile - La posizione era molto buona sia per raggiungere il centro che la stazione. La signora si è mostrata disponibile. La stanza era un pò calda, non c'era la colazione, inoltre l'ultima notte ho dormito poco e male perchè c'erano degli ospiti al piano superiore facevano continuamente su e giù, il pavimento è in legno e si sente tutto. Diciamo che per il prezzo che ho pagato mi sarei aspettata qualcosa in più.

• Caroline (7/5): A welcoming spot in Bruges - Little bit of a walk from the train station, but not a bad one considering you're in Bruges. Easy to find and easy check-in (you go in through the door to an art gallery), communication was great, too. My friend and I were on the top floor, that unit is split into two rooms (which worked well for us). We had to walk down stairs to use the shared facilities, but that wasn't a problem. The shower was nice and hot and the bed was comfortable. The space was clean and had an artsy vibe about it. There's a nice spot to sit outside, too. It was a great location to explore the city and just enough off the beaten path to not be surrounded by tourists. I'd definitely recommend a stay at ARTuur. If you struggle with stairs, this might not be a good location for you.
• Pavoletto (10/5): Un soggiorno decisamente adorabile e rilassante! - La struttura si trova in posizione favorevolissima, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro storico di Brugge, dispone di una camera ampia e confortevole, bagno ampio e un piccolo disimpegno sopra il giardino della proprietaria molto tranquillo da cui si possono ascoltare i rintocchi e i jingle del famoso campanile di Brugge. La proprietaria è inoltre molto gentile e disponibile alle eventuali richieste del cliente e mi ha permesso anche di mangiare le deliziose mele del suo giardino. Super consigliato! Concordo con l'utente di un'altra recensione, solo il prezzo è relativamente alto rispetto al servizio complessivo offerto ma è un dettaglio a cui personalmente non ho dato alcun peso, in quanto è sufficiente avere un minimo di spirito di adattamento.

• Jorn2304 (8/5): Mooie kamer op top locatie - De gastvrouw was erg aardig en behulpzaam. Het centrum was op 10 minuutjes lopen en er was een dakterras om te genieten van de zon. Ook fijn dat er een koelkast op de kamer was! De kussens waren een beetje oncomfortabel en een handdoekje in de badkamer zou fijn zijn!

• Eoin (7/5): Comfortable room and great hostess. - Sophie allowed us to check in early because we arrived on an early morning train. She also allowed us to leave our bags in the reception area at the property until we left for an evening flight. She was very accommodating and replied swiftly to any questions we had. The room was warm and comfortable. The house was in a quiet part of town. The floorboards were noisy. So you could hear other guests moving around upstairs. The house cat was outside our room but the hostess came to remove it when she realised this.
• Marco (8/5): Quiet bedroom, close to the centre and the station. - Close to the station (700m), and a short walk to the fish market.and the rest, but Bruges is so small you can reach anywhere by feet. Nice room, essential but comfortable. The host is very friendly and has given us the opportunity to use also a newly made room for the kid. I would add some covers for the winter, and maybe a LCD TV for the kids would be nice to have on the wall but perhaps it would disturb other rooms. I ask to the owner to check for Local taxes, I think that an 11-years old should not pay.
• Mustafa (9/5): Perfect - The entrance is an art gallery, there are rooms on the second floor. The room really has everything you need. The bed was really comfortable. The toilet was very clean. The heating was enough. Sophie took care of me. I didn't have toothpaste and she gave me some. Sophie is a really nice hotel owner. You can trust her and have a comfortable stay. I left there happy. I think there were also two young people who used the gallery, they and Sophie gave me some information about the city. Thanks for everything. There was almost no problem. It was very quiet and comfortable. Maybe I would say that it is a little far from the tourist attractions.

• Cristina (8/5): A nice room in a traditional old Bruges house - It's a pretty, traditional house with an art shop at the ground floor. The room was very large, nice and clean. The owner wasn't at the location at my time of arrival but she left instructions and I managed to let myself in. During the night you can hear the other person using the stairs if you're a light sleeper.

Whilst the bathroom is shared it’s very big with two sinks and modern features, great shower too! Location is great, only a 20 minute walk from anything which passes quickly when you get to walk through such lovely areas and scenery! The shared bathroom can be a bit awkward with other guests, there was mention of a sign up sheet for time slots but we did not find this. As others have mentioned, the entrance to the patio is via the bathroom which felt a little invasive if you needed to use the bathroom as other guests just left the doors open and stayed on the patio when using
• Giulia (9/5): Very enjoyable stay in the beautiful Bruges - The host was really kind and she gave us the opportunity to leave the luggage a bit after the check out. The apartment is nice, wonderful position, enjoyable terrace with a beautiful cat. The main door is a little difficult to open but you learn how to do it. The entrance of the terrace is from the bathroom but nothing terrible if you are quite a flexible people.
• Juan (7/5): Typical bruges house, not to much privacy. - It's a typical Bruges house with a huge shared bathroom. Ok landlord, open for questions, answers and suggestions. Nice for a two day stay. Very good location, 20 min walking everywhere, bike shop near by. Too little privacy. Walls are not more than 20 cm thick (wood). We could listen everything and they could listen to us. They charge for giving you a cup, and everything that you can imagine, definitely not a AirBnb host type of place.

• Joanne (10/5): Great property for the price & location and host was amazing! Little roof top patio was a bonus too! - ARTuur is a great place to stay for a couple of days! Sophie, the host was excellent…local lady & very knowledgeable & helpful. We walked everywhere(10 mins to all downtown attractions & restaurants. Also, if you are biking the bike trails are 2 minutes from her accommodations! Only “negative” thing for us is that it was 30 degrees both days and there was no air conditioning but a cold beer fixed that! Thanks very much Sophie! Stayed only two days in Bruges…4 days would have been better…next time!

The house is situated close to the canal, where you can start a beautiful walk around the city center but within minutes you are also in the bustling center of Bruges itself. Heater was working perfectly; everything was clean. Toilet and shower are not attached; it is a shared facility. There is no bin inside the room. Although there are bins outside the room. Coffee or tea and kettle are not provided inside the room. It is an extra service. You need to pay extra for coffee and that is outside of the room.

Bathroom was not heated and was cold, mold in the room. House is undergoing renovation and does not seem to be ready for the guests. For the price we paid I was expecting a room/facilities more ready for guests.
