• nicolette (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf - Hele fijne kamer, lekker ontbijt en de ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk. Er is een bus naar het centrum om de hoek, maar lopend is het ook maar 15 minuten.

• Mandy (9/5): - Rita is een geweldige host. Ze neemt de tijd om alles uit te leggen en handige tips te delen. Het ontbijt is elke ochtend vers en anders dan de dag ervoor. De kamer is ontzettend comfortabel. Wij voelde ons hier erg op ons gemak, bedankt Rita! De dekens waren heel warm en het hout in de badkamer was op sommige plekken helaas rot en er zat wat schimmel door de luchtvochtigheid. Voor de rest was alles perfect!

Turning up to a beautiful Christmas Tree in the room was lovely😀. Second time here and we will return. Bruges is a beautiful place to visit anytime of year. Just a 10 min walk to the town or railway station, where we did a day trip to Ghent. Another super short break👍 Nothing

• Joni (10/5): Warm and welcoming B&B in peaceful area - We enjoyed our stay in ambrosius very much. B&B was very cosy and Rita made us feel ourselves welcome. Room was very tidy and comfortable and bathroom maybe biggest ever and very nice too. Breakfast was very good and we liked how it was little bit different in both mornings with some interesting things to test. Also good that there was a fridge and coffee machine etc. in room too. Area around ambrosius was calm and walking to the centrum wasn't too long at all. Especially good this place is if you come by our own car because it's easy to come and leave by car and you can easily find a free parking place for your car. Rita's tips for Brugge were also useful for finding where to go during a short stay. Nothing really. We like walking so distance from centrum wasn't any issue. But if you don't like, there is about 15-20 minutes walk to the centrum. Surrounding area is also very peaceful residential area what means that there are not so many services especially during weekends and off-season.

• Mayumi (10/5): - Rita's warm hospitality really made our trip special. She pays attention to details to make sure the comfort of guests. She even offered to drive me to the store when I asked about supermarket and it was the stormy weather. The room is very charming, clean and has more than everything we needed for 3 nights stay. The bathroom is quite spacious. Also liked breakfast. I'm usually picky about bed, but the bed was so comfortable and I slept very well. We felt like home. Thank you. :-) Nothing I can think of.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend und das Zimmer ist total gemütlich. Die Lage ist ruhig und nur 10-15 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt an der Straße und um die Ecke.

The room is spacious and comfortable with excellent air conditioning and a big bathroom. Located in a good area which is very quiet. It's a good 20 minute walk to the centre of beautiful Brugges for evening meals.

Location was about 25 minute easy walk to city centre. Rita was friendly and welcoming and a bonus was free parking right outside.

Regular bus service during the day but hourly after 8pm. But as long as you knew that, the transport links to the city were amazing. No need for expensive taxi's No where to sit out in the evening

The walls were adorned with modern art & stained glass lit up the windows. There were cozy personal touches everywhere~ from a globe to stuffedanimals& books.... Loved the TV with Netflix, free street parking , enjoyable 2nd floor view with shades that provided privacy yet still let in the view & Light. Rita was wonderful. Comfy bed & large bathroom. With amenities & places to hang clothes. A journal for guests to write in & travel info on the table in the hall. Fresh squeezed orange juice & Good coffee & cutely decorated eggs in addition to a variety of bakery, rolls and bread, meat & cheese, yogurt & cereals & fruits along with dishes & silverware of excellent quality The stairs~ what they call a first floor is actually a 2nd story flat. (My husband fell). Also, there were hairs on the bathroom floor .

• Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely space feels like an apartment. Rita was so lovely and accommodating bringing us some brekkie bits for the early Sunday start. (5am leaving time :/) A good walk from Bruge centre but we didn't mind but worth factoring if you are thinking about staying here.
• Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Rita was a wonderful, warm and inviting host, and Ambrosius was spacious, clean and cosy. We visited in December, but the room was always warm and comfortable. Rita gave us great advice for where to visit in town, and the breakfast was huge. We couldn't be happier. Also the decor was cool and the bed was very comfortable. We loved it We really loved everything at Ambrosius so it's very hard to find any faults. Depending on how much you like walks, you might find the location a little far from the centre of town, but it's a nice walk and really only about 15 minutes. My other half is pregnant and we found it fine It's nothing to do with Rita or Ambrosius, but it's worth knowing the restaurant at the bottom of the road (Pistolet) is very tasty, but the woman who runs it kind of opens and closes it depending on her mood. Don't trust the opening hours on the website or on the door of the restaurant. In any case, you'd probably want to eat in one of the many great restaurants up the road in town
