Guest Reviews
- Gustavo (8/5): - Muy linda y cómoda habitación, con una vista hermosa. El desayuno. Muy básico.
- Katty Ann (10/5): Muy acogedor. - Estaba todo nuevo, impecable. Muy buen desayuno. Todo perfecto.
- Beatriz (8/5): -

- Juan (8/5): Clean good location - Clean good location A cold
Feel to the place not very welcoming

- John (10/5): Exceptional - Location was outstanding with an amazing view of Cero Castillo. Room was large, very clean and had an excellent heating system plus a very nice bathroom. If you are going to stay in Villa Cero Castillo we highly recommend, you will not be disappointed! Nothing
- John (10/5): Outstanding Facility with an Amazing view - Our room was large, very clean and had a excellent heating / air conditioning system. The bathroom was clean and the shower had excellent hot water. Best of all was the location with a back porch view of Cello Castillo. Highly recommend! Nothing
- Lucy (9/5): Great location - Great view, comfy bed Little storage space for clothes
- John (6/5): Pleasant - It was a gorgeous view. I was put out to learn that "Payment at the property" meant cash, no credit. Fortunately, I had enough because the local ATM was out of money. I felt the property was overpriced. I had just stayed in a five-star hotel, in Aysen for less, and on credit. Maybe this property being in a rural area justified a higher charge. But it would be worth checking.
- Bradford (6/5): Dissatisfied - Nice location Cash only with nothing indicating that credit cards not accepted on Booking site. If I didnt have cash I was informed that the local gas station had a ATM. I was tired after a long travel day and the last thing I wanted to do was get back into my car and drive back to town. Who knows if the ATM was functioning.
Also it is not a B&B as advertised. You are offered an in room fridge with a selection of cold food items mostly processed crap.

- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, super friendly and helpful. This was our base before and after doing the 4 days Cerro Castillo hike. Great breakfast, super bed and space, amazing views. Everything was perfect.
- Jitzchak (7/5): Hosts lacking - The views are truly gorgeous and the rooms face the mountains and river. The rooms are set out nicely and materials are wood with dried flower pictures on the wall. The bed was comfortable and we were glad to have a kitchenette. The hosts were completely indifferent to.us. We were disappointed that although it is a relatively high priced accommodation the breakfast was simple and did nit include fresh coffee. It was all do it yourself with instant coffee and a kettle in the room in a country known for wonderful coffee. When we suggested perhaps to receive two hard boiled eggs to enhance the simplest white bread and toaster left in the room we received a very discouraging look. The unwelcome feeling unfortunately colored our stay in what should have been a lovely spot
- Ksenia (9/5): Great mountain view - Phenomenal view of Cerro Castillo from the room. The room is well throught through Hot water in the shower did not mix well, either too hot or cold.
- Claudia (9/5): Superb -
- Lotus (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (5/5): We enjoyed the views - Comfy bed. Fantastic views Very basic for the price
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): Exceeded expectations - Breakfast food was in the in-room refrigerator which was very convenient allowing us to get up and out hiking early. The apartment included tea/coffee pot and instant coffee, a toaster, and a pan and supplies to cook eggs.
View from the room was fantastic. Staff did not speak English but was very friendly and communication through Google translate was easy.
- Prue (7/5): I would stay here again but the showers need fixing for the price - - staff were friendly
- room was lovely and clean
- they stoked the fridge with breakfast goodies
- everything you could need
- wifi great
Note: cash is only accepted. there were a few hiccups that were annoying for the price.
- we were given the wrong keys to our room and were locked out for 25 mins. We messaged the staff and they were there as soon as they could.
- there were 2 showers in our room and both were really difficult to use. We had to message for help because no water came. The owner came and gave us tips to get it to start and it worked one day and not the other. In all honesty the plumbing was dodgey and a shower should just turn on instead of pushing taps and then twisting, turning cold on first.
Would we stay here again, yes! But I would ask for the shower to be properly fixed.
- Alison (7/5): Good -
- Gail (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brion (8/5): Spectacular stop along the Route of Parks - Great location near Cerro Castillo. Very private and spacious accommodation. Provided breakfast in the frig in the room. It was more than enough Nothing
- Corinne (7/5): Good - The location and amazing views. I mistakenly thought I'd booked a room in a cabana with a hob (cooker). Also, there was only 1 comfortable chair and 1 outside chair for the 2 of us. I didn't realise breakfast was going to be in the fridge for us to make ourselves, and was a bit disappointing. They didn't accept card payment and demanded cash as soon as we arrived. We had wine glasses but no water glasses. Nothing bad, but not anywhere near as good as other accommodation we paid a similar amount or less for.
- Jason (8/5): wonderful cabins, short walk into town with magnificent view - room and view - wonderful reception was awkward and unwelcoming, also announced they only take cash on arrival
- Margarita (9/5): Very comfortable place on the way to the airport - Very clean and comfortable
- Christine (10/5): Clean big room friendly staff - Great quiet location fantastic views. No English but really friendly and helpful. We had a flat tyre and they helped us a lot, even at 7:30 in the morning.
Breakfast in cabin excellent and plenty.wifi in the cabin.
- John (9/5): Stylish accommodation with great views - Very modern apartment with great views They did not accept any credit cards. This is an Issue for Non Chile visitors as the one ATM in the village frequently runs out of cash.
- Blechman (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place, view and room. The breakfast is very poor
- Leonie (9/5): Comfortable, clean and modern cabanas with essentials and amazing views. -
- Jeff (7/5): Good - Nice view of Cerro Castillo. Breakfast ingredients including eggs was provided with frig and stove
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wombat-1 (9/5): Possibly the best choice in Cerro Castillo. - Great and quiet location outside the village with a view of the surrounding mountains. Very friendly and attentive hosts. The included breakfast is in the fridge and do it yourself. The balcony is dangerous for children.
- Scott (10/5): A magical stay at B and B cerro Castillo - Incredible location and views of Cerro Castillo out of window. We enjoyed cooking the breakfast left in the fridge for us. A magical place! Nothing
- Chris (8/5): Incredible view, close to park entrance. Very comfortable! - Amazing location great continental breakfast, awesome heat pump, hot shower Nothing
- Tim (10/5): A very high standard of accommodation here. - Location was incredible. César the owner was very accommodating and even drove us to the start of the Cerro Castillo walk. Rooms were clean, modern and well-equipped. Views to die for of the river and the mountain.
- Susan (10/5): Wonderful, comfortable rooms with everything thought of for our stay. love to stay there again. - One of the best viewing locations in Patagonia. Right under Cerro Castillo.
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annamaria (8/5): Amazing views! - A nice place with killer views. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room got cold overnight, so the double blanket and double comforter were perfect to stay warm and cozy. Walking distance to restaurants. The breakfast was very modest comparing to other B&Bs we stayed at so far. It would help to add jam and butter.
- Joao (10/5): Great location and scenery - Helpful hosts. Very good breakfast. Very convenient to hike the nearby trails.
- Joao (10/5): Great location and scenery - Amazing views. Convenient location if you plan to hike. Helpful hosts.
- Brittany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic views over Cerró Castillo. So clean, large room, wonderful bathroom, great cooking facilities. Just perfect. Loved it.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - What it lacked in curbside appeal, it made up for in the room. Views were outstanding. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Signage and and curbside. I wasn't sure it was the place.
- Kirk (8/5): Very good - View was great. Very clean. Comfy bed. Good
AC /heat system. Nice shower . Well equipped kitchen. Balcony. No place to sit other than kitchen table.
- Jos (3/5): Small and overpriced - View Small, overpriced, description in Booking.com incorrect (facilities not available or not private)
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Very enjoyable stay. Bed was very comfortable and the view was beyond fantastic. Great sunsets and star gazing.
- Regina (7/5): Good for a short stay, stunning views. - Nice mini kitchen, fridge stocked with breakfast items that you cook yourself. Only instant coffee. Sufficient. Clean, bed comfortable. Views of Cerró Castillo are amazing. Short drive or long dusty walk to town to eat No signs to direct you to the place. Even locals didn’t know where these Cabañas were. No housekeeping (no garbage removal which after three days should be)
Neighborhood dogs are let out very early in the morning and their loud barking was your alarm clock.
- Juan (9/5): Superb -
- Carolina (10/5): great landscape - the view, the installations, the breakfast, the staff, the room details, and very clean.
- Anja (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the view. This was the reason, why I choosed the place. The breakfast was very good. It was the best of my whole trip. I would always come back. There was nothing.
- Matias (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stacey (8/5): Very good - The bed was comfortable with an amazing view of the mountains in Cerro Castillo National Park. Breakfast was good but our Spanish was limited and that meant both my husband and I ended up with undercooked eggs for our breakfasts that we couldn't eat. The subsequent breakfast already had the eggs on the table when we arrived. The WiFi signal was so weak that we couldn't use it in our room at all.
- Po (10/5): Exceptional -
- Erik (9/5): Superb - The rooms in the annex are bigger and better than in the main building (slightly more expensive also). Beautiful view, good beds, excellent bathroom. A bit expensive, but (certainly the annex rooms) very comfortable and a phenomenal view. The rooms in the main building are somewhat smaller.
- Winnie (10/5): Amazing view. Well thought out cabin design and very friendly and helpful hosts. - The location was amazing. The cabin has amazing views into the mountains and the room facilities (kitchenette, pre-stocked breakfast items in our fridge...etc.) was well thought through. It made our stay extremely comfortable. The design of the cabin building and the interior was also really nice. We didn't even want to leave our room. The host was super nice and helpful. He even checked our car to make sure we have the right car to go down a small dirt road to our hike, so we won't end up being stuck by the off roads.
- Ricculli (10/5): We had a wonderful and cozy stay! - We stayed in one of the suites and had a wonderful stay! It was spacious and very cozy (even on a rainy & windy night) and the bed was SUPER comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was great, with tea available throughout the day. The staff was very friendly, and were able to accommodate us for an extra night after our plans changed. The location was beautiful and very close to town with a few great restaurants. We’d definitely recommend. n/a
