Guest Reviews
- Guest (9/5): - The baked treat was nice in the morning. I appreciate a clean place to stay and this room was spotless! There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. I would only suggest that maybe have a more comfortable chair to sit on in the room.
- Cumming (7/5): - Quiet area. No food or drink available for purchase.
Homeless encampment very close.
No GPS signal. Spotty cell phone service.
- David (10/5): A cozy room to return to after a day of exploration - Many special touches from an outlet strip on each bedside table to cream provided in the fridge for coffee or tea. We felt very well taken care of. Wish the curtains had been more light blocking, but that’s a minor thing.
- Guest (8/5): Beautiful place, peaceful, comfortable, missing elements to compensate for its isolated location. - Breakfast was not provided. A chocolate banana muffin was given to us & it was very good. The place is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The bedroom was spacious; place was quiet, peaceful, beds were very comfortable. The place is a bit isolated with no easy access to a grocery. No meal prep options were available, that is, there was not even a microwave available to heat food or a kettle to boil water. Drinking water was available from the bathroom. A pod-coffee maker was available but it was small and only heated the water to like warm over the first 3-4 attempts to get hot water for tea.

- Guest (10/5): We were very happy with our stay. - There is no breakfast but the coffee & 2 pieces of ginger bread loaf were delicious! There is a Cafe Bakery within a 2 min walk that is amazing. The extra property service charge fees and cancel free of charge 30 days before or pay full amount.
- Guest (10/5): Lovely guest house. - Michelle recommended the little cafe just down the road for breakfast.
She provided tasty ginger cake for afternoon tea.
She supplied de-caf coffee for myself
- melanie (10/5): A restful place to feel at home while exploring a stunning region. - Peaceful and comfortable, we could have easily stayed another night.
The bed was large and comfortable, the room large enough to relax in, the shower was good too (important when you have thick hair!).
The house across the road sells antique glass, which we did not expect. A little more local info? No breakfast is served, but it was up to us to discover that there was a little canteen just a few minutes walk away. This is especially important after Labour Day, as many tourism facilities close or limit their hours. The host was communicative, so I'm sure if we'd asked they would have had suggestions, but it would also have been nice to have a little info in the room.
- Russell (9/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Beautiful and Spacious - Beautiful and spacious room Because there is no breakfast, a list of close by restaurants in the room would be nice
- Guest (9/5): -
- Darlene (10/5): This one's a gem... - Our room was so lovely!!! And thank you for the delicious lemon loaf we had for breakfast.. Absolutely nothing!
- Alastair (10/5): - Lovely property, lovely room, lovely comfy bed. The homemade lemon cake was amazing too!!
- Esther (10/5): We had a relaxing stay and really enjoyed our time there - Room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Host was friendly and communicated well. Was very close to the quaint and memorable town of Trinity.
- Guest (9/5): Merveilleux. - Propreté, grandeur de la chambre, lits très confortables, balcon privé, douceurs laissées par la proprio. Être accueillis en français.

- Andries (8/5): -
- Donna (9/5): Great value , nice place, clean and comfy! We enjoyed our stay! - Very comfy! A bit on the fringe of Trinity so had to drive to get to the historical side.

- Mailhot (10/5): A luxury stay - The attention to detail, fabulous. The room was spacious. Michaela's recommendations were perfect. I would recommend this place for sure. That we didn't stay longer.
- Louise (10/5): - Beautiful stay in a lovely guest house. Very clean, stylish and comfortable. Bed is fantastic!!! Highly recommend this stay!
- Guest (8/5): Very good - Very quiet and close to where we need to be Not to be critical, but because this is a question, one of the lights in the bathroom was out and the fireplace kept on turning on. In the end, these were not a big deal and the experience was great.
- Yara (8/5): -
- Peter (9/5): Clean, new, comfortable - Location is in the heart of the Trinity/Port Rexton. But If you want to wake up and see the ocean, this not the location. But only a short walk away. For those of us who don’t transfer luggage items to dresser drawers, the room lacked a place to lay out luggage other than using floor space.
- Adam (10/5): -
- Guest (10/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): - Check in facile
- Catherine (10/5): - Very nice, spacious room with a comfortable bed and a nice little homemade treat from the great hosts. Location was perfect for access to the Skerwink Trail, Rising Tide theater, whale watching and More. That I only booked one night.
- Andrea (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable stay just minutes away from Trinity - Everything was exceptional and thoughtful Not a single complaint
- Chogyal (10/5): Just pure comfort and cosy settings - The Google direction is accurate so reaches you to the property. The owner did guide us which was accurate too
Its a beautiful and well maintained property and has all the basic kitchen nessicities.
The property is beautiful and very cosy.
We wanted to stay longer but it was sold out
They can allow early check in
Just a few metres on the right is a small cafe with basic groceries or you have to drive to Trinity No comments.

- Rocio (8/5): Lovely, well kept home. - It was clean, well decorated and conveniently located. The beds could be more comfortable.
- Marian (2/5): Not able to sleep. Hear TV and snoring from guests next room. - No breskfast Thin walls, can hear people snoring, hear tv until after midnight. People sitting outside bedroom window in bench next to window.
- Ernie (10/5): -
- Murray (10/5): Beautiful, clean, warm, friendly, very welcoming. - Loved everything about it. Beautiful room, beautiful decor, exceptionally clean, very warm and welcoming. We had the most delicious slices of banana breading waiting for us, Keurig coffee, tea, milk, and a bottle of cold water. We wouldn’t hesitate to re-book or recommend this beautiful place. There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

- Deborah (10/5): Fantastic, small town feel with all the luxuries you could ask for. Immaculately clean. Michale - My travel partner and I booked the 2 bed unit with balcony. It was so nice to have a private outdoor space where I could enjoy a glass of wine or coffee in my pj’s. The room was huge! Very nice furniture and amenities. It was immaculately clean and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. The room was serenely decorated and very soothing. We liked everything about the guest house, but be aware that it is Located on the road into Trinity, it was about a 20 min walk into town (no sidewalks) so we drove. I highly recommend this property.
- Shari (10/5): Our room was very roomy, clean and comfortable. - Clean, quiet and close to the places and activities we had planned. The room was very large, clean, quiet and well located.
- carolyn (10/5): Absolute perfection in a VRBO stay!!! - This was the loveliest VRBO that we have ever stayed in. So immaculate; up to date; tastefully decorated and filled with many lovely touches that said “welcome”! Communication was prompt and very accommodating. Will recommend this property to every NFLD traveller I know.( and I am a bit fussy about where we stay)! A huge thank you to Michelle and Michaela for the perfect stay in Trinity!🥰 Absolutely nothing!!!
- Bruce (10/5): -
- Marsha (10/5): Couldn’t have asked for more. It was pretty close to perfect - The kitchen was perfect, loved the decor, loved the privacy, loved that the owner contacted us beforehand with lots of useful info Only the shower could have been better and that’s just a matter of personal taste. I don’t like the rain shower.
- Céline (8/5): Confortable - La décoration de la chambre L emplacement

- Barry (8/5): - No breakfast

- Guest (10/5): -
- Debbie (10/5): Gem of a stay in Trinity - This was a late booking on our travels as we changed up our routing. We only wish we stayed in the area an extra day. Trinity is a gem. The guest house was wonderful. Bed was very comfy. Loved the gingerbread loaf slices we found in the morning! We also took up the recommendation of a breakfast sandwich at trinity cabins next door. Delicious! Stay was too short!
- Hamilton (10/5): -
- Margaret (9/5): Would recommend Trinity Guest House - Well equipped kitchen, tastefully decorated, well supplied with toiletries, tea and coffee. Very peaceful. Good instructions for checkin, WiFi etc
- David (9/5): -
- Guest (10/5): 很适合在这里停留一晚 - 贴心准备了自制的香蕉坚果麦芬
- Nikki (10/5): This is the best place I stayed on my trip. - Beautiful house, very clean and comfortable, good location to nearby attractions.
- Vitali (10/5): - great staff, useful and easy to follow check in, lovely location
Merci Michele.
- Yvette (10/5): I would not recommend it because the address sends you elsewhere on the Navigation system. Other guests complained as we - Everything. The lack of internet access on our Navigation system & cell service. We missed the turn off and finally went to a private home to get directions. We were 7 kms too far down the road. The manager needed an approximate time of arrival as she did not live there. That was inconvenient as you felt you had to be there for a specific time. All else was excellent.
- Alan (10/5): A terrific place to stay. - We stayed at B and B's throughout Newfoundland. This was amongst the very best. The attention to detail by the owners of the Trinity Guest House is impressive. One of our very favourites.
- Riet (10/5): Ontzettend fijn verblijf! - Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst, hele fijne schone kamer. Tips over goede eetgelegenheden. Voelde ons echt welkom! Niets
- Scott (9/5): - Super comfortable bed. All around a great stay👍🏻 Our gps took us 2 hrs out of the way to get to inn. Not a fun day.
- Janet (9/5): Comfortable room on main floor of house outside of trinity village - Nicely decorated room in house of owner on main floor.
Although on main road it was quiet in the evening. Maybe a muffin for a small snack with coffee in the morning: guest house in between to bnb.
Only one chair in room, we brought a chair from porch to use for breakfast as weather was rainy and cool to sit outside.
Having a parked car as view from window, not very appealing for a view!
- Kim (10/5): -
- Anita (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful home for a perfect stay - This is a beautiful home. We were personally greeted to ensure our comfort. There were a lot of small touches that were very appreciated to the coffee choice and the chocolates. The beds were incredibly comfortable with a lot of pillow options. Perfect location to head up to see the puffins.
- David (7/5): - Clean, location close to town, bathroom was nice, new interior. Check in was easy. The mattress in our room was worn down, it was getting quite warm in our room over the day with no air con.
- SandraVVT (9/5): Relaxing and upscale - The room is very comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious. Appreciated the mini fridge, plates and coffee/tea. Lovely back.porch All good
- Carolyn (10/5): -
- Annette (8/5): We were there 2 nights and it was a great location for us. We will recommend. - The home was lovely, room was clean, home was quiet. Michelle, sorry I didn't put this in the first message as I did want it to be public. A couple of suggestions for the room we stayed in: black out curtains, sun was up at 5:00 - so were we, no throw pillows, they were in the way, fewer knick knacks, they were in the way & worried they would get broken, pillow upgrades, pillows were uncomfortable, a luggage rack or 2, a night light for the bathroom. Arlene was lovely. Just a few things that would have given a higher rating :) thank you
- Guest (10/5): - loved the hand made muffins and the delicious coffee with fresh cream Muffins on the second morning as well would add to the experience
- Christina (6/5): - Too much decorations. No place for guests.
No place to sit.
- McKinnon (10/5): We would stay again - The breakfast down the road at the bakery was excellent. We were the only ones at the house so it was very quiet. Room, bed and bathroom were all exceptional. Clean neat and tide. That we couldn't stay longer
- Lucille (10/5): -
- James (9/5): Nice modern house with clean rooms and facilities. - Location good All good
- Jim (10/5): Top notch site in Newfoundland - Fantastic and comfortable spot, a fully-equipped, spacious apartment on the lower floor of a lovely house. Superb communication with the owner and a really wonderful spot in Newfoundland. The little village of Trinity is an easy, 20-minute walk, and it's worth the visit for sure, and it's a easy drive down to the Random Passage and the gorgeous hiking trails that abound. Absolutely first class accommodations!!
- Goodin (10/5): Great apt/Trinity is an historic gem. Don’t skip a boat tour—Sea of Whales is tops! - This is an apartment with a fully equipped kitchen (and better equipped than most that we have rented). It is a really lovely, the hosts are very attentive—checking in on us and letting us know their schedules, but really everything was clear so we did not need any assistance. We had a fabulous time and Trinity should not be missed!
It was also critical that we be able to cook since restaurants in Trinity had shut down for the season. Loved everything!
- Aleksandra (10/5): - Super comfortable and nicely decorated. It has everything you need and more.
- Linda (10/5): Perfect! - We were super comfortable at Trinity Guest House and its location is great - close to many things by car but we could also walk into town if we needed to. Our host was very helpful and made our stay cozy and welcome. Our friends stayed in the basement suite (it's really an entire apartment) and so we were able to use their kitchen for breakfasts and suppers and to prepare our picnic lunches.
- Heather (9/5): -
- Sharron (10/5): - Spotlessly clean, beautifully and comfortably decorated, had everything we needed, very close to nearby attractions, warm, friendly and helpful host
- Pauline (10/5): Comfortable and stylish - the accommodation were immaculate and so well thought out. Everything you would need was there too far from the centre of Trinity. Did not like the idea of walking on the dark road. MYbe better in the summer
- Ralph (9/5): Michelle was a wonderful host and very knowledgeable about the area. - It was clean and convenient and well located. There was no common area.
- Christine (4/5): Une belle chambre avec une mauvaise insonorisation - The size of the room, the decoration, the private balcony Everything had started well with a warm welcome by the owner. Then the discovery of our room (3), large and nicely decorated, with a beautiful private balcony.
Until the first bad surprise...When we heard the toilet and the bathroom of room 2 (?). This other room is adjacent to ours, and when someone flushes the toilet, we really have the impression that it is in our bedroom.
But that's not all, the big bad surprise arrives... Noise. People talking, and the sound of TV... it's already 11pm...
There, I tell myself that I'm going to see the neighbors upstairs to ask them nicely to lower the volume of the TV.
I go up the stairs, I see a door ajar, I knock. And there a lady appears, she seems very upset to see me, not happy at all.
I tell her that I'm trying to sleep, but that we can hear the TV, if it's possible to turn it down a bit...
She tells me that no one has ever come up in 5 years, why didn't I text her...
Hum... are you the owner ? I asked, a little shocked too...
Yes, she replied, before asking me to leave so I don't wake the other guests...
I'll stop there, you get the idea : it was the owners who were just above our room.
They're the ones we could hear talking, it's their TV we could hear!
So 2 possibilities :
1) Either they know that their house is poorly soundproofed and that in room 3 we can hear them.
If that's the case, they don't care and talk and watch TV late without worrying about it.
2) Or they don't know, and when we tell them, they don't care!
Because after my visit, they continued to talk and watch TV until around 12 am.
The reaction of the lady is revealing, because when she saw me, she never asked if something serious had happened to me or my wife. And, at no time did I think that it could be the owners who were making noise above our room. How is that possible?
I paid $260 for a suite, and I did not get the quietness I expected with this category of accommodation.
- Carmen (10/5): - Beautifully decorated themed rooms. I loved our seascape room and the garden room was pretty too! Comfy beds. Good coffee. Friendly and accommodating host. It was nice to sit out on the front porch at the close of the day.
- Teller (10/5): -
- Steve (10/5): Great place to stay. -
- Jeana (10/5): A beautiful guesthouse with the comforts of “home”! - The guesthouse is wonderful! The location is great for a base to explore! The accommodations are comfortable.. super clean and had everything we needed. The hosts are friendly and very helpful..answering all questions and giving dining recommendations! Everything was perfect!
- Richard (10/5): Great place in Trinity. - Everything about the property per set. The road into town was under construction with guard rails missing etc., and felt precarious. Not a fault of the Trinity Guest House, but made the location less than ideal.
- Gail (10/5): Beautiful accommodations with very nice hosts. Would definitely stay here again. - Very clean spacious room.
- Anita (8/5): Trinity Gem - The room was clean, cozy, nicely decorated and the host provided a lot of extras, e.g. toiletries, good quality coffee (and real cream!) The room could have been more comfortable with air conditioning. Fans were provided but we still found the room to be a little bit too warm for our liking.
