• Silvia (8/5): Sencillo y perfecto para recargar las pilas - Tras un vuelo largo lo que más necesitas es una ducha, una buena cama y que te hagan un desayuno rico por un buen precio. Con el coche de alquiler llegamos en 5 minutos y además pudimos aparcar el coche dentro. Carol es súper atenta y amable, y nos hizo un desayuno muy rico.

• Scott (9/5): Inexpensive place to stay near airport. - Staff and breakfast were great. Room was very clean and had a nice little balcony with chairs and flowers. Nothing fancy but excellent for the price. We stayed on our arrival night as it was not too far from the airport and it was great in meeting our needs of a safe, close, and clean place to stay that first night. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was perfect.

• Sjkmuk (10/5): Exceptional - Daniel was so very helpful, even giving us a lift to a local restaurant when we arrived late at night and checking they were still open. The room was clean and the breakfast of fruit, bread and cereal was fine for our requirements. We liked that we could walk into Alajuela City very easily (we recommend La Hendija Sabrosa food). Also that it was close to the airport. You definitely need to use anti slip mats in the shower. It is very slippy. Some people might prefer a cooked breakfast. Some people might not like the plethora of bibles and Nativity scenes.

He made me a great breakfast and there was a lot of fresh fruit. It's only 15 minutes from the International Airport. The room was nice, and it had a private bathroom. It's well located and has whatever you need near to it. Great restaurants around Sunrise by A-1. Definitely, I'll recommend this place to anyone visiting Costa Rica. From Sunrise by A-1 you can go to anywhere you want to go. Cheers, N/A
• Karre (6/5): Safe, friendly, clean, ask the property directly for a grand total prior to arrival so it's clear! - Felt safe. Clean, some minor tiny ants in toilet area not a problem. Front staff nice. Towels and soaps provided. Helpful arranging a better taxi (that didn't charge too much). Maybe ask in advance to get your taxi to this location too! I was in late and out early so I didn't get to see what breakfast was like. Only 10 minute walk to the ATM, shopping etc. Paid about $10 more US dollars over what the booking said. Only took cash on arrival. Too hot in the room no fan or screens on the window. While there I messaged the property to see if the mosquito's were bad so I could open a window, no response for over a month.

Room was equipped with basic furniture and very clean, quite spacious and silent at night. Beds soft and a lot of pillows to choose from. We had 2 beds available in the room. That was great to recover from the long flight. Bathroom door was blocking the way to the lavatory and toilet. Mattresses were soft but saggy.

• Richard (9/5): A clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay before taking an early flight or if arriving late - This is an excellent place to stay before or after an early or late flight. Just 10 minutes from the airport. The house is very well finished and the room was exceptionally clean. The address wasn't clear (for me at least) but if you type Sunrise-A1 in Waze, you will find it immediately.

• Benjamin (9/5): Lovely quick stay near the airport - A lovely B&B in Alajuela near the airport. Walking distance to some restaurants, or a short drive to more. Great house with clean rooms and soft bed. Breakfast is basic but just fine. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Green garden is the best place for yoga). The owner is very kind and helpful. You can also fill your bottle with drinking water from the cooler. Eco friendly place) Everything was great
• Andre (10/5): Exceptional - Nice, little B&B in a quiet corner of Alajuela, just a few minutes walk from the city's center. The Host was super nice and helpful. Optimal spot for either your first or last day in Costa Rica due to its close proximity to the airport. And if you have same spare time in the morning, the Volcan Poás is also quite close :).
