• Isabel (10/5): Pura Vida pur - Unser letzter Stopp in Uvita war einfach perfekt und nochmal Pura Vida Feeling pur ! Marcella, unsere Gastgeberin, war einfach unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend ! Man hat sich direkt willkommen und total wohl gefühlt. Sie hat uns alles erklärt und tolle Tipps gegeben. Als kleiner Willkommensgruß lagen 2 Bananen und Nüsse bereit. Zudem wurde während unseres Aufenthalts der Kaffee und das Wasser aufgefüllt. Die Unterkunft ist super modern, richtig schön eingerichtet und top ausgestattet – es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Dazu war es total ruhig und entspannt, genau das Richtige zum Abschalten. Abends konnten wir vom Pool noch einer naheliegenden Livemusik zuhören und den Abend ausklingen lassen. Auch die Lage von Madre Terra ist super, abseits der Hauptstraße in einer Nebenstraße kommt man schnell zu allen möglichen Aktivitäten rund um Uvita. Fussläufig waren Restaurants, Cafés und Supermärkte problemlos erreichbar . Für uns der perfekte Abschluss unserer Costa-Rica-Reise – wir wären am liebsten gar nicht abgereist und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!🫶🏻 Es war alles top

• Mary (10/5): Beautiful, Modern Stay with Incredible Attention to Detail - I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Madre Terra and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Uvita area. The property is beautiful, modern, and clearly very new. Everything felt fresh, thoughtfully designed, and exceptionally clean — from the kitchen to the bathroom furnishings. Marcella greeted me upon arrival, showed me around, and made me feel welcome immediately. Throughout my stay she was always available if I had questions and was consistently tending to the property, which made me feel very well cared for as a guest. The attention to detail truly stood out. There was coffee and cream waiting for me in the refrigerator, which I appreciated so much as a coffee lover, and small bananas freshly picked from a nearby tree — such a thoughtful and personal touch. The location is excellent — just down the street from Awake, close to a local food court with great options, and only a short walk to coffee shops and restaurants on the main road. It’s convenient while still feeling peaceful and private. The apartment was immaculate, comfortable, and very well equipped. I will absolutely stay at Madre Terra again the next time I am in Uvita. Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like — my only complaint was having to leave!
• Maximilian (10/5): Alles Perfekt und herzliche Gastgeber - Super schön eingerichtete kleine Villa mit einem super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es war alles da was man braucht und auch die Lage war super - etwas abgelegener und ruhiger und alles wichtige trotzdem schnell erreichbar. Alles war super sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet - wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und wären gern noch länger geblieben. Auch die Gastgeber sind super lieb und haben uns herzlich empfangen. Außerdem wird Wasser, Milch und Kaffee zur Verfügung gestellt und nachgefüllt. Besonders fand ich auch dass Zimmerservice nah Wunsch und auf die Bedürfnisse der Gäste angepasst erfolgt. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit!

• Kjeld (9/5): - Relative new and well maintained. Marcella is really kind and friendly. Is able to anticipate towards her guests. A plus is that she actively asked for feedback. Restaurants within walking distance, as well as a nice little waterfall where you can have a swim. At night it was quiet. For us the only thing that would have been nice was a bigger bed and bathroom. But that's personal preference.

Voortreffelijk appartement met zwembad, gunstig gelegen. - Schoon,leuk ingericht, heerlijk zwembad, zeer aardige ontvangst, op loopafstand bamboebos met heerlijk (gratis) zwemplekje langs de rivier en waterval, dicht bij restaurants en bij Uvita NP op 10 minuten met de auto. The villa was beautifully designed and decorated, private with a little outdoor seating area. The pool was small but sufficient. They had left coffee, milk, beer and bananas for us. If you need to go to the beach each day, you will be a bit too far unless you have a car. It would be great to offer an on-site breakfast package or shared kitchen. But I am just nitpicking here. You will love it anyway!

Marci and Sandro are so friendly, helpful and just add to the already relaxed atmosphere. Also the attention to detail and thought put into the rooms didnt go unnoticed. • Ohmymamabody (10/5): Relaxed and very comfortable - Well looked after, so clean, tidy and modern. The rooms have really great air conditioning, the pool is wonderful to cool off. There is a communal shaded area to sit and relax outside of your own unit. The host is very friendly. I chose to have breakfast there which was fresh and healthy. Great start to the day. Very safe and secure. Close to great cafes, bars and restaurants. You need to rent a bike if you would like to get to the beach. The only thing that bothered me was the nearby road. But hey, this is Costa Rica and there is always going to be some noise either from the roads or the dogs :-D so I am not really complaining !

Location is also vg, just a minute from town. Wifi also works very well. Howler monkeys woke us up in the morning which never gets old. Tiny bit of noise from surrounding area but this stopped before we were trying to sleep and wasn’t anywhere near how it’s been in most places in costa rica!

It was great to have the pool to cool down in. The breakfast was delicious for $10 each. The shower was good but a bit tricky to control the heat of the water.
