Ended up costing 184$ for one night, it’s a bit high for what you get. No tv, no AC, no fan etc. Breakfast was ok, but not representative for the price.

It was so serene and quiet yet so close to town and convenient. Check in was thoughtful and easy. Quality and intention in every detail. Host was kind and engaging and clearly takes pride in what they offer as they should. Not one thing , I’ll be back for sure!

• marguerite (10/5): Excellent riverside lodge - Incredible! As there were other guests there at the same time, it was fun to sit together and share experiences. This used to be a fishing lodge so had several guest rooms and gathering areas. The location was great - right on the banks of the Skeena River so the views were mesmerizing. Our room was comfortable, very clean and homey. Our hosts were very welcoming, friendly and full of information on the area and the local history. We would definitely go back if out that way again!! nil

It even had a kitchenette and mini fridge, so I could make my meals in my room. I loved it so much, I'm planning on making thus a yearly trip!!!! I arrived at night, and it was a bit difficult to find.

Kim and Brad first class hosts, breakfast everyday was outstanding with variety. Room had everything you need, coffee maker, kettle, hot plate, microwave, utensils etc etc. Beds super comfortable, we did not want to get up. Room was warm, excellent bathroom facilities together with plenty of parking space. Nothing, our perfect stop for 6 nights.

The host went above and beyond to cater to our gluten intolerance, offer adventure ideas and provide maps and directions. Location along the river was beautiful with the breakfast and pool table room overlooking it. The place as well as the host were warm and inviting and felt like a home away from home.

• Walter (8/5): Lovely hosts and property made for a great stay and our kids loved the river 😃 - Breakfast was superb daily and the riverfront view is beautiful! The mini kitchenette in king suite is convenient, and kids’ bedroom is a great feature. The full bathroom is great, and fireplace is a bonus. The hosts really made our stay, making sure we had what we needed. The area of town is unfortunately a bit run down. We didn’t have any issues, it just looks like the neighborhood has been allowed to deteriorate. The property itself is beautiful.
