O café da manhã ótimo, pães frescos com fiambre / queijo, frutas variadas frescas, ovos feitos para a própria pessoa. Os funcionários muito simpáticos A parte do pagamento ficaria mais fácil se pudesse fazer de forma on-line pela plataforma de reserva.

Apart from the positive attitude of the ladies at breakfast, the reception staff could definitely improve their customer service. A simple smile and a warmer attitude would make a big difference, as we honestly felt quite unwelcome at times. A little more hospitality wouldn’t hurt.

• Sophie (3/5): Décevant - Propreté des lieux, des serviettes propres, lumineux, grand lit et belle vue Pas d eau chaude: il n y avait aucune puissance dans le jet du pommeau de douche, très compliqué de se laver avec un débit si bas, pour se laver les cheveux c est un enfer. Personnel assez désagréable, très limité en anglais ou français (sauf une personne). Le service de nettoyage se déroule entre 11 et 15h vous savez jamais quand la personne passe. Meme si vous mettez « non » sur la porte, la femme de ménage rentre quand même dans l appartement et viens vous voir dans votre lit pour savoir si vous pouvez partir pour qu elle nettoie. Petit déjeuné très très basique.

Das Frühstück war gut und die Zimmer waren positiv eingerichtet Man durfte die Handtücher nicht mit zum Strand nehmen und hat keine extra Strandhandtücher bekommen. Das Warmwasser ging entweder garnicht oder nur so schwach, dass es nicht zum Duschen gereicht hat. Also musste man kalt duschen

• ESTEFANIA (9/5): Increíble - Cerca de todo y fuera del ruido. Tienes todo a 3 minutos andando. Desayuno bueno. Personal muy agradable y confortable sin duda repetiría si volviera a Sal. Se encuentra enfrente de playas más tranquilas sin tanto turismo por si quieres descansar.
• Gyöngyvér (9/5): Nagyon jó helyen, mindenhez közel lévő szálloda. - A szálloda gyakorlatilag a tengerpari sétányon van az első sorban. Mi 3 ágyas szobát foglaltunk ketten, mert már nem volt szabad 2 ágyas szoba. A szoba extra nagy volt, az ágyak is nagyobbak a szokásosnál és nagyon kényelmesek. Az erkély viszonylag keskeny, de elfért rajta 3 szék és egy asztal. A víznyomás amit sokan kritizáltak, nekünk erős volt, semmi gond nem volt vele. A szobában van hűtő, igaz nagyon hangos, érdemes éjjelre kihúzni. A légkondicionáló jól működött, nekünk márciusban is szükségünk volt rá. A személyzet rendkívül kedves mosolygós, a recepción délutánonként dolgozó hölgy kifejezetten segítőkész. Utolsó nap késő este ment a gépünk visszafelé, egész nap strandoltunk, a csomagokat a szálloda megőrizte addig, le tudtunk zuhanyozni és törölközőt is kaptunk. A reggeli egyszerű és nem változatos, de látva az élelmiszerüzletek szűk választékát még így is teljesen kielégítő volt. A közelben van több reggelizési lehetőség is ha valakinek nagyon egyhangú lenne, pékség a téren a központ felé, vagy a másik irányban a tengerparton is. Az árak az élelmiszerüzletekben nagyon drágák 3-5* drágábbak mint Németországban. Viszont az éttermekben az árak jóval olcsóbbak. Ami minket zavart, de a végére beletörödtünk, hogy hiába teszi ki az ember a kilincsre a " Ne Zavarjanak" táblácskát, akkor is benyit/ bejön a takarítónő. Mi nem szeretjük ha minden nap ki van takarítva a szoba, nem szeretem ha idegenek fogdossák a pizsamámat a ruháimat. Hát itt hiába volt kint a "ne zavarjanak" a kilincsen, akkor is bejött a takarítónő és kitakarított, átrendezte a szobát. Ami a legnagyobb probléma volt, hogy a teraszajtót is tárva nyitva hagyta egész napra, így a szunyogok is bejöttek ( szúnyogháló nincs) és hát azért az első emeleten egy hátsó utcára néző terasszal nem túl biztonságos betörés szempontjából sem. Széf ugye nincs a szobákban.

• Cristiana (5/5): Déçue - La terrasse avec une très belle vue mer, le personnel de la cuisine gentille et sympathique, la dame de l’accueil. Besoin d’un rafraîchissement et d’une nouvelle installation de la salle de bain, matelas du lit aussi. Lit pas trop confortable et petit pour un couple. Le petit déjeuner complètement à revoir, pratiquement pas de choix. Toujours les mêmes produits. Sa serais super s’ils mettaient des fruits de saison et local, des jus naturel, et entre autres recettes traditionnelles des îles. Pour le prix qu’on a payé, on est pas resté satisfait… et on a dû aussi payer 1,50€ pour une bouteille d’eau à l’arrivée parce qu’on avait soif. Vu le prix, on trouve que ça serait normal d’avoir au moins une bouteille d’eau offerte dans toute les chambres! Problème d’eau chaude ( qui a était résolu 3 jours après), de pression d’eau dans la douche et le sanitaire aussi.

Leider ist die Dachterasse nicht nutzbar. Insgesamt sehr hellhörig, 2x um 3.00 Uhr durch internen Lärm wachgeworden.

La literie est confortable (nous avions un matelas à mémoire de forme) et l'hotel très calme. Le petit dej est bien, efficace, sans fioriture. De medewerkster toonde weinig begrip voor onze situatie. Wij kregen voor één dag een verkeerde kamer toegewezen en de airconditioning werkte niet, waardoor het in de kamer onaanvaardbaar warm was. Als oplossing kregen wij tijdelijk een andere kamer om te slapen, maar ook daar functioneerde de airco niet. Daarnaast gaf de medewerkster aan dat wij konden blijven of vertrekken, zonder enige bereidheid om een passende oplossing te zoeken. Bovendien was er geen lift aanwezig en kwam er niemand om ons te helpen met het dragen van onze koffers naar de kamer. Wij vinden deze manier van omgaan met gasten onprofessioneel en klantonvriendelijk. Om die reden kunnen wij dit hotel helaas niet aanbevelen. Na één dag zijn wij vertrokken, wat uiteindelijk een betere beslissing bleek te zijn.

• Jean-Jacques (7/5): - Hôtel de petite taille, contrairement aux hôtels, usines de l’île de Sal. La proximité centre du village et la proximité de la plage, il suffit de traverser la rue l’attitude du vieux propriétaire des lieux qui est une personneextrêmement désagréable
• Patrice (7/5): - L emplacement est bien hors du bazar du centre. L hotel fait pension de famille et pas bunker à touristes. Claudia et sa tante sont accueillantes On n a pas eu la chambre côté mer qui est très agréable. Côté jardin c est moins bien.

They were all very friendly, helpful, and made a genuine effort to be welcoming throughout our stay. ​The hotel is average but functional. It has all the basic amenities you need for a stay and was perfectly fine for what we needed. The owner was very unfriendly from the moment we arrived. He was incredibly short with his words, never smiled, and lacked basic hospitality. ​We were relaxing in our room waiting for a taxi and didn't realize checkout was at 11:30 am (it was never mentioned to us). At 11:35 am, the owner knocked on our door with a grumpy, rude face just saying "So?". When I apologized and realized it was checkout time, he snapped back with "Don't you know?" and walked off. ​ While the staff were great, the owner's rude and upset demeanor made us feel unwelcome. It’s a shame that five minutes of lateness resulted in such an unprofessional confrontation.

And night manager very nice Day manager (and owner) a grumpy and grouchy old man who never smiles or says please or thank you. They forced me to change rooms halfway through my stay (which I had booked months in advance). I was given no choice and they were not very flexible. And of course it was already paid in full. Really unhappy with their attitude. I can live with little things, like no shampoo or no beach towels at a beach hotel or substandard air conditioning or water pressure. Or room not ready by stated check in time on booking.com. No problem. Even charging an additional 3% for credit card fee over what they quoted on Booking.com. But forcing me to switch rooms and giving me no choice after confirming my booking months prior crosses a line of disrespect for their clients. Not to mention the owner’s attitude.

• Iris Tungland (10/5): Cozy and authentic - I am incredibly happy with my stay at Aparthotel Santa Maria Beach. I ended up extending my stay 2 times, and therefore got to try three different rooms, 9 nights in total. All the rooms were clean and tidy. My favorite was apartment 10 with the most amazing ocean view! This hotel is close to the beach, located at the eastern less touristy end of the beach. But it is still close to the main street of you want to explore. Especially if you are travelling to do ocean activities, you can stay in this calm beautiful area, relax and have a good night sleep with breakfast full of carbohydrates and protein. They really make an effort to have fruits, even though this is challenging to get a hold of on the island. I had Kiwi, watermelon, honey melon, papaya, oranges etc every day. In my opinion you get all the nutrients you need for your activities at breakfast: delicious omelette, cheese&ham toast, yoghurts, céréales, sweets, juice, fruits, hot drinks. Having the breakfast outside was really nice. The people working there is also really nice, kind and helpful. If I had a request or an issue, I always got the assistance I needed. Claudia is a great manager! Chose this hotel over the resorts, if you want a more authentic and cozy stay.
