Alles war perfekt eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Zudem ein farbenfroher Garten am Hang mit vielen Vögeln. Die Lage der Finca ist etwas abgelegen, wenn man nicht mit dem Auto unterwegs ist. Aber das weiß man ja bereits bei der Buchung.

Russell (9/5): Got to go for the fantastic view and warm hospitality - The rooms and atmosphere are terrific with a very attentive owner who is a sincere and likable man with excellent English. The sunsets are amazing as well as the gardens! Set on a hillside each room is a standalone cottage, some with a steam room. Each cottage has its own wraparound porch to view the hillside gardens and valley below. If dining on site, meals are simple and delicious especially the vegetarian dishes. On the edge of Manizales, the beds are warm and comfortable without and city traffic noise which is a big bonus feature. The view is simple astounding and the warmth and openness of the owner creates a community among his guests who get to share the view among new friends. The location is in a safe middle class neighborhood and the short entry road was under repair by the city

Und am Garten, den Du so liebevoll angelegt hast, und der so viele Vögel einlädt, insbesondere auch Kolibries, da kann man sich gar nicht sattsehen. Dass man mit den öffentlichen Bussen so schnell und einfach preiswert im Zentrum sein kann, macht Deine Oase perfekt für einen Besuch in Manizales - insbesondere für Gäste, die sich nur in Englisch und nicht in Spanisch gut verständigen können. Ich werde in jedem Fall wiederkommen, wenn ich wieder einmal in Manizales bin.

Heel smakelijke maaltijden en behulpzaam personeel. Hier kom ik zeker nog eens! Jammergenoeg was de douche niet meer dan lauw, terwijl een warme douche welkom was nu het flink afkoelde ‘s nachts. Met een warme douche had ik deze finca een 10 gegeven.

Un peu à l'extérieur de la ville mais les taxis sont très bon marché, et la ville est tellement moche qu'il vaut mieux être à l'extérieur..

Man kann dort wunderbar verweilen und die Zeit genießen. Auf Wunsch kann man auch Abendessen (war sehr gut und es sind auch vegetarische Gerichte möglich). Wir haben es sehr bedauert, dass wir nur eine Nacht dort waren.

Der freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzer Majid hat uns mit auf eine Trekkingtour mit seinen drei lieben Hunden genommen. Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

He helped us arrange transportation from the airport even though we were arriving late on a public holiday! The property offers dramatic views over the valley, and you can have your morning coffee admiring the view and the hummingbirds that stop by in the garden. The rooms are clean but basic; this is not a luxury stay, but more has a family vibe. You will be well taken care of and appreciated as a guest there.

If you are looking for an accomodation to relax and enjoy nature, this is the right place to go. The cabins and chalets are quiet and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner are very healthy and delicious. Majid, his staff and the lovely dogs made us feel at home. We highly recommend this place!

Also the host and the staff are very nice and were very helpful and welcoming to us. Also with the other guests there was a friendly, pleasant atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay!

Sarah (10/5): Relaxing getaway with fantastic views and helpful staff - The location is fantastic. Not too far away from the city but with that middle of nowhere feeling and unbeatable views. The staff is friendly and extra helpful, answering questions and helping with transport. The home cooked food was also a plus especially as vegetarians. The chalet was very spacious and comfortable at a fantastic price, it was also extremely clean and well kept. There were some insects crawling around, but it´s nature, what do you expect!? I had no complaints! If I had to pick one thing, it would be the amenities available. I didn´t bring shampoo because I saw soap listed as being available, but there was only one bottle of what was labelled as regular hand soap. Not a huge deal but unexpected.

Jesse (9/5): A perfect stay in Manizales - Mirador Finca Morrogacho was great. The host gor our stay was amazing. He helped us arrange travel to various areas in the city, coffee farms and even took us along with the hotel dogs to visit his horse in another part of the city. The daily breakfast is definitely worth the price as well. It was your choice of eggs along with fresh fruit and toast served with fresh coffee or fresh juice. We had the dinner one night and it was also great. They had a vegetarian option for my wife and I had the grilled chicken. There were also choices of beef or fish. The vegetarian meal option included a large helping of fresh vegetables and arepas. A dish of beans would have been a nice addition to get a bit more protein. Our room was rustic yet comfortable. There were at least 4 outlets for our electronics and the internet worked fairly well in our room. Lastly we had a nice balcony with a hammock and a table and chair set. Basic but nice. There were not many dislikes as far as the property and/or staff are concerned. One is the stairs for the chalet and hostel rooms can be a little steep. Not terrible but if you are someone with mobility issues, a room in the main house is much more accessible. The location is well maintained but slightly out of the eay. We were able to get taxis to drop us off at the start of the road the hotel is on no problem. We then needed to make a few minute walk to the hotel gate itself. Getting taxis to take you to the door of the property was a little during certain times of day. Manizales is hilly so that should be a consideration. The breakfast is good but it was the same every morning. Not a complaint but more of an FYI.

Genevieve (10/5): Exceptional - If you are in the region, please offer yourself the absolute gift of staying here. The site itself is simply magical, with incredible views and nature all around. The rooms are clean and comfortable, you are close enough to town to walk there (around 45 mins) or go with a taxi for a couple of dollars, and the host is kind and extremely helpful when organizing visits to nearby coffee farms or transportation if you don’t have a car.

This is a location to relax. It is approx. 15 minutes away from the centre. But for us this was no problem
Susan (7/5): Good - This is a rustic and quirky place to stay very much part of nature. It has beautiful views and fantastic gardens. Lots of birds and other creatures. Owner kindly gave out lots of information and had bird books available. Remember to bring your own shower gel and conditioner. Meals a little inconsistent. There were lots of dead bugs and live ones in our room on arrival ( we carefully placed the live ones outside the room) To be fair we arrived very early and the owner let us have our room early and probably didn't have time to check the room. Only place in Columbia we stayed where there is a charge for using a credit card.

Very nice breakfast and optional dinner available. Furnishings a bit dated. mattresses are hard and pillows a bit flimsy. Cockroaches in one of the bedrooms we had. Critters on the roof of my room kept me up at night. lots of barking dogs in the neighborhood as well. Bring earplugs.

Lynsey (10/5): Beautiful views and stunning gardens - The views from our balcony were amazing - and there were many birds right outside it in the trees/flowers there. Breakfast was delicious every morning and we had the very yummy and healthy chicken dinner on two of the nights (and it was different both times). There are a couple of cafes and little shops at the end of the road - less than 10 mins walk away, and we did actually walk into town to some of the churches (~1 hour) and to the nearby Eco Park too (~45 mins), so whilst it seems remote, there are things within walking distance. The things we did which weren't walking distance (hot springs and coffee tour) wouldn't have been walkable from any accommodation in Manizales. The communal lounging areas were great - loved chilling in the hammocks on the day we checked out. Oh also the dogs are lovely! Thank you for everything Majid and sorry we didn't get to say bye! Washing up liquid and some salt/pepper in the rooms would be great!
Karl (10/5): What a beautiful place to stay! - Such a lovely place to stay! The Mirador is a series of houses perched on the edge of a hill with a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside. The owner is very welcoming and helpful and can advise you on great places to visit in the area. They provide a fantastic meal every night and you can all sit together enjoying the food and company. As a solo traveler I found it a great place to meet others. There are several different options with the room type but almost all have a stunning view. Its so easy to spend the day just relaxing watching the birdlife, playing with the dogs and soaking up that beautiful view. Not much! Its a bit of a trek to get to the property but its well worth it for the view and its well connected to the town with buses and taxis.

Michael (10/5): A peaceful and pretty place to stay. - The place was close to town but still far enough away to feel out there. The room was great and the view was great. I enjoyed the meals as well. The property is very well maintained and very tranquil. It was great the owner was so knowledgeable about what to do in the area. A special and memorable place for sure! No complaints. But know this: it is not a vacuum-sealed luxury property. It's in nature. You might find a bug or mosquito in your room or somewhere. You might hear a dog bark or birds. It's also not a full-service joint. It's run by one person with some part-time help. If you visit this place with reasonable expectations you will have a great time. Some other visitors had very demanding expectations which I thought were crazy. At these prices it's a great deal but if you are used to staying in high end hotels you should just stay in one, not here. :)

Stephen (9/5): Relaxing stay with magnificent views - Great views from the property, and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Majid gave lots of advice about local trips and things to see. The breakfasts were good & evening meals were exceptional, & great value. All in all a very relaxing & pleasant stay! Perhaps the decor is a little dated, but that wasn’t really an issue.
Elsa_s (10/5): This is a very special place. Strongly recommend it to everyone, but particularly to nature and animal lovers. The garde - What is not to like? Everything was perfect. In particular: the view, the host, the food, the location, the flora and fauna. Nothing.
Anat (7/5): Cute cabins and greenery, no WiFi in rooms and not for light sleepers - There are comfortable cabins with lush greenery around, the breakfast is decent and Majid is there to help with questions and suggestions for Manizales. The room got cleaned every other day. I moved to this place from another hotel because I was looking for quiet and good WiFi. I asked Majhid beforehand about these two things and was told that the wifi is good and the place is quiet. Apparently there's no reception in the rooms, only in the common living area, and although the place Is far from the highway there are loud barking dogs and loud chickens roaring at 5 am. Majhid helped me with the wifi but a more honest approach would've been better. Also the large bird cage and the small chicken coup with 6 chickens stuck inside felt unnecessary.
Tiziana (9/5): A marvellous place to relax and enjoy nature - This place is all about peace and nature. The rooms are good if a bit dated , however it does not matter. You are outside Manisalez , but not important as not great place. You go there to rest, relax and enjoy the amazing scenery. Trekking is the major pull of the area. It would have been nice to have somewhere to have a meal near by instead of using the accommodation dinner. Breakfast very good, dinner ok

John (10/5): Exceptional - We are a couple and traveling Columbia for six weeks now; this is by far the best accomodation we've had! Majid the owner is unbelievably helpful, the view is stunning, the cabins are clean and beautiful, bathrooms great. And the vegetarian dinner (32k COP) is delicious. Couldn't have been more satisfied! Thank you so much for the experience Nothing at all. Just great
Laura (7/5): You can do better - The owner is friendly. Breakfast is good. 100 steps down to the unit. It was dated and dusty. Way overpriced for what we've experienced traveling in Columbia for the last two months. Plus, we killed 6 cockroaches over the course of the evening.

John (9/5): One of the best views in Colombia - Amazing view, very friendly staff, had a wonderful time there. Would absolutely recommend staying there if you’re going to be in Manizales. Beds were a bit stiff, did not like the smell of the room after it was cleaned the last day.
