• Melissa (8/5): - - quarto minimalista e muito bonito - sossegado - cozy - pequeno almoço que apesar de não ser muito diversificado, tem tudo o que é necessário (ovos, fruta, pão, panquecas) - o estacionamento tem um grande desnível e encontrando-se carros estacionados na estrada, fica mais difícil (no entanto, a host respondeu rapidamente indicando-nos outro lugar de estacionamento, caso fosse necessário) - o quarto que alugamos tinha casa de banho fora do quarto e tinha 2 portas. Uma das portas, mesmo fechada tinha uma fenda de pelo menos 1cm (ambos estes pontos podem ser irrelevantes para algumas pessoas mas podem ser uma desvantagem para quem tem problemas com mosquitos ou outros insectos, por exemplo)

• Lucia (10/5): - Me encanto el cuidado de los detalles en las instalaciones, estaba muy cuidado todo! La ubicación era perfecta, está cerca del centro y de la playa, aún así no se escuchaban ruidos molestos. Nada!

• Maude (9/5): - Location was great, only a five minute walk from the beach. Thera are lot of local restaurants and cafés in the neighborhood. Breakfast was also very nice. There was fresh fruit (pineapple, watermelon and papaya), freshly made pancakes, müesli, joghurt, toast... and you could ask for scrambled eggs or eggs sunny side up. The breakfast was right by the pool. It was usually not busy at all so that you could eat breakfast peacefully. The room was also very clean with a comfy bed.

• Kristina (8/5): Nice location -nearby everything - This is a cute boutique hotel, it’s clean, it’s very central, you can walk anywhere, personal is very sweet and welcoming. The parking was hard, no instruction, and they didn’t answer my message when I asked how it was with the parking… I was lucky I found one just outside. Didn’t use my car since I was afraid loosing my parking spot. Also the show is not good, even me with thin Nordic hair needed some time in the shower when I washed my hair 😅

• Madelief (6/5): Nette Anlage aber man fühlt sich als Gast ein wenig ausgenommen da auf Fragen oder Probleme selten oder gar nicht geantw - Schöne Einrichtung , Hängematte auf dem Balkon super, Blick super, Pool zwar klein aber sehr nett zum verweilen, angenehme Bettwäsche aus Leinen. Leider ist die Kommunikation mit den Managern sehr schwierig , sie waren nicht vor Ort und nur über WhatsApp zu erreichen, antworten konnte man erst nach Stunden erwarten. wir hatten einen Stromausfall und einen Tag später sehr lange kein fliessenendes wasser, dies kann passieren alles gut aber ich hätte gerne jemanden erreicht um zu checken das alles in Ordnung ist und an einer Lösung gearbeitet wird. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach aber das Personal sehr nett - ohne Spanisch ist die Kommunikation aber manchmal etwas schwierig. Kleine Details bei der Sauberkeit werden nicht beachtet ( wie zum Beispiel das abwischen von der Fernbedienung der Klima Anlage , den Kühlschrank oder Staub an den Nachttischen) . Für den Preis zahlt man die nette Einrichtung und die Lage , nicht den Service.

• Aliaksandr (10/5): Amazing - Amazing small hotel with super friendly and helpful owners and staff. Very delicious breakfast, amazing location and stunning garden inside. Small nice pool ads to cozy and relaxed atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with terraces with hammocks which boost the whole atmosphere! I felt wi-fi coverage in room is not that good in comparison with terrance but lets be fair - you are there to avoid it ;)

• João (10/5): A truly pleasant and welcoming place. - I had a great stay and would definitely come back. When I arrived the Wi-Fi in my apartment wasn’t working, the host moved me to a smaller room with better connection. It was still very nice, and to compensate she kindly offered an extra night, which I really appreciated. The breakfast and cleaning staff were also fantastic—warm, helpful and always smiling.
• Alex (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel. Beautiful and tranquil - The hotel really made our vacation perfect. The room is spacious and had a great view over the city, AC helped with the hot temperature. The bed is very large and comfortable. We loved the breakfast in the morning, esp the fresh fruit and the fluffy pancakes. The hotel only has a few rooms, so it never felt too busy and we met great people at the pool and during our surf lessons. Staff was very friendly and room was cleaned daily. Check-in was a bit confusing when we arrived, but I got quick responses for questions via WhatsApp . Loved the linen bedding, but sadly there were some small stains from time to time that were not fully washed out.
• Åsa (10/5): Exceptional - I love that the hotel is close to Santa Teresa beach, but still quiet. Everything is super clean and well kept, and you can also rent boards and get surf lessons. Everyday there is a small, but tasty breakfast. All the people who work at Lucero are so kind and helpful, which made the stay even better. I will definitely come back! Nothing.

• Dana (8/5): Garden room not for us - Beautiful property, nice small pool, very good breakfast, the bed was super comfy (with linen sheets), room very clean and quiet. The owner was also very nice and helpful. Some people may like this (we didn't) - the garden room has a bathroom outside of your room. While some may enjoy this as the tropical experience, I - being very popular in the mosquito community - had a hard time with that and got a handful of bites just going to the bathroom. So it's something to note if you are considering booking the garden room. I do have to note that the host was very nice and accommodating in finding us another room when we didn't like the arrangement.

• Ivana (7/5): Would recommend for a family private stay in one of the apartments. Nice property but more of an Airbnb vibe. Quality - Tastefully decorated, quiet, owner responsive, good breakfast, though every day the same Thought that it was a bit pricey for what it was. Small pool, rooms a bit humid, more of an Airbnb vibe and no reception. Not great for a solo traveler since the property is quite small and in the low season almost no ppl there. Would recommend staying in one of the hostels and getting a separate room instead for having some social contact.

• Sagit (9/5): Woow this is awesome hotel. - Wowww this little boutique hotel is very modern and clean.We stayed at the 2 floor house in the top of the hotel with gorgeous huge balcony over looking the ocean.Very comfortable and chic,everything sorrounded by trees and nature.Breakfast cooks per order very fresh and tasty. Jared is amazing,kind and helpful. Pool is small but you feel like swimming inside a waterfall sorrounded by dimmed lights budha statues and green. They have amazing surf instructors. Location is amazing you can walk to restaurants on strip. Place is minimalistic and decor is black stone with wood accents.Super unique and gorgeous. This place was the best in our overall trip. Cant walk to beach,parking was hard to find and you should have 4*4 to drive to access property. Water presssure in master bathroom was very slow. Staircase to master has open windows to nature no screens at all. 60 stairs to reach our house was little tough with 3 kids. However it is such an amazing,unique place all issues seems small🙃

Nice experience to stay up in the jungle of Santa Teresa. Manager did compensate our family with a free night’s stay considering all the issues we had. 1- AC leaking and disturbing the sleep of my children for the first two nights. 2- water pressure in bathroom sinks and showers were pathetic at times non existant and hot water was laking. 3- the extra 5th person was never considered in any way as they did not have a towel, nor a bed to sleep in. The towel I went to pick up on our first day here, was used to sop up the leak from the AC and was never replaced. 4- the stained couch pillows and seats.

• Thatcher (10/5): Best place I've stayed in Costa Rica. Super peaceful and beautiful natural architecture and views. - This property is gorgeous the staff is amazing and the breakfast was fantastic. No desk in the bedroom and no coffee bean grinder. Other than that it was honestly perfect.

• Doug (10/5): If you are looking for a comfortable, relatively quiet place in a great location, you found it! - This property is in the heart of santa teresa, up a low travelled but extremely well paved side street probably due to the fact that there is a high end gated community just up the street. Really was kind of perfect- no noise from town, but so close to it that you wouldn't really need a car. Breakfast was simple- fruit, eggs cooked to order, good coffee, and pancakes. For the price, I felt like it was a great value. We also stayed at Somos during our stay in Santa Teresa, we much preferred Lucero due to it being a bit more low key and less than half the price. Would have preferred Lucero even if the prices were the same. We really have no complaints.

• Emma (9/5): Great location, in a beautiful stylish boutique hotel with the best staff and service! - We had such a lovely one week stay at Lucero, where we stayed in the secluded jungle apartment. It was super quiet, stylish, clean, great breakfast, nice pool area, perfect location nearby lots of restaurants and grocery store + close to the beach and surf! We got extremely well taken care of by the lovely concierge Gala, who did everything in her power to make sure our stay was excellent. Can truly recommend this place for anyone visiting Santa Teresa! The only negative we come to think of is the lack of some kitchen utilities that could be improved (we missed a kitchen knife, water/wine glasses etc), and also the lack of a coffee table or some sort of indoor table setting. There wasn't really any wardrobe space, which didn't bother us since we kept our things in our bags, but for some people this might be inconvenient.

• Stephan (8/5): Very spacious apartment up in the hills - Breakfast and hospitality of Gala were great. Rooms are large, kitchen is great in the top apartment. No good parking spaces and very low water pressure. Too expensive in my opinion.
• Annie (8/5): Very good - Loved the design and felt like my own private villa at times. Beautiful gardens and wildlife. Loved my white hammock and the linen sheets, bed was really comfy. Breakfast was nice. A bit further up the road so not as noisy as some areas in Santa Teresa. Overall enjoyed my stay here a lot....an oasis of calm 🙂 The payment was a little frustrating. I am used to paying through booking.com which just makes it more straightforward.
