• IRIS (7/5): Molt bon servei i preu/qualitat. - El personal és molt amable i servicial. Cada dia et preparen la teva safateta amb un esmorzar molt complet. Esta molt aprop de la platja i el port. La majoria no sabien anglés, lo qual dificultava comunicar-se amb ells. Tampoc disposaben de datafon per pagar però accepten pagaments amb transferència bancaria.

Restaurants ruim 10 minuten lopen. Eigenaresse is zeer willing om je van info te voorzien. Zij kan taxi regelen. Belt naar hotels op ander eiland. Fijn ontbijt. Zowel aan begin als eind van vakantie geboekt. Eenvoudig maar prima!

• Thomas (10/5): Erholung nach einem erlebnisreichen TAge - Als erstes kann man sagen, man merkt die Freundlichkeit der FAmilie hier. Es wurde sich super um einen gekümmeert. Und dann noch der Blick am Morgen über die Häuse, so kann ein TAg nur gut starten nichts, was man erwähnen müsste
• Sara (10/5): - Well located to access Laginha beach, 10min walk from centre. The staff are very friendly and approachable. The room was clean and tidy. The shared balcony is great for evenings, sheltered from the wind and with a great sunset view. Breakfast in the morning includes fresh fruit juice, coffee, bread, jam, homemade yogurt and fruit.
• Katrin (9/5): Gutes Hotel in guter Lage - Sehr gut und ruhig gelegen, Stadt und Strand sind schnell zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, das Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich in dem schönen und gemütlichen Frühstücksraum im 2. Stock. Und ein schnelles WLan😊

• Claudia (8/5): - Nettes Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Gutes WiFi. Leider hatte unser Zimmer keinen Ausblick. Das Fenster ging unmittelbar auf die Wand des Nachbarhauses. Aber es gibt Zimmer mit schönem Ausblick. Für eine Nacht ist das aber nicht so schlimm. Das Bettlaken ist zu klein und rutscht von der Matratze, so dass man sich beim aufwachen auf einer gummierten Matraze wiederfindet.

• HOU-MANTET (9/5): - Excellent accueil à la Casa Comba. Le tout en français pour nous qui parlons si mal le portugais. Nous les en remercions. Très bon rapport qualité prix avec excellent petit déjeuner.
• Christian (9/5): Ambiance locale et familiale, à mi-chemin entre la plage et le centre ville. - Emplacement idéal, un peu en hauteur, à mi-chemin entre le centre ville et la plage Laginha. Accueil familial, plus authentique qu'un hotel classique. Petit déjeuner avec produits locaux, servi à table, différent chaque jour, prés de la terrasse avec vue panoramique. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Au retour la gérante m'a réservé un taxi pour l'aéroport situé à 15 minutes, pour un prix modique. Côté rue, bruit des voitures qui passent sur les pavés en pente.

• Jan (10/5): Unschlagbares Preis-Leitungsverhältnis - Liebe und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, für den sehr guten Preis kann man sich wirklich kaum beschweren. In meinem Zimmer hatte man leider nur spärlich Internet, ich nehme an, dass es daran liegt, dass der Router zuweit weg steht. Ich weiß nicht, wie das mit den anderen Zimmern aussieht, aber wahrscheinlich wäre es besser, wenn man den Router direkt bei der Rezeption aufstellt.
• Marianne (9/5): Casa Comba ist empfehlenswert - Das Zimmer war nicht zu klein, Dusche prima, Betten bequem, 15 min zur Fähre runter, 20 min von der Fähre hoch (langsames Tempo). Lage also gut. Rezeptionistin konnte englisch und wurde nett als wir uns unterhalten haben. Restaurants in der Nähe rar. Frühstück war dürftig, 1 Brötchen, Butter und Marmelade, kein Käse oder Schinken, 1 Tasse Kaffee, konnte zwar nachbestellt werden, wurde aber fast widerwillig gewährt. Restaurants in ca 15 - 20 min zu erreichen.

• Oleksii (9/5): Good place to stay in Mindelo - Good location, close to the city center, cafes, beach. Very friendly staff, speaking English, I contacted them with questions about logistics around the island - they helped me a lot :). Simple small breakfast, prepared upon your arrival, as fresh as possible, slightly different the next morning and that's good. The room has a hairdryer, enough soap and shower gel - which is not always the case in Cape Verde. There is a refrigerator, they also gave an iron on request. The bed was a little hard for me. I would like to have the possibility of an earlier breakfast (it starts at 8:00 here).
• Lou (9/5): Nice hotel close to the beach - Caurina and her staff were so nice and helpful. The room I had was very pleasant and the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood - just a short walk away from the beautiful Laginha beach. The breakfast each morning was nice and varied. I would definitely stay again at this hotel. The small electric water heater the bathroom ran out of hot water fairly quickly, but not that big of an issue.

• Lindsey (9/5): Great value for a comfortable place in Mindelo center - This is a really comfortable place with kind, helpful staff and a good breakfast. The location is fantastic (just a few blocks from the beach) and my room was very cozy. The only issue is that the shower water was only mildly warm for a few minutes before just running cold. Good water pressure though.

• Simone (10/5): Warm hospitality - Casa Comba is a great choice for a stay in Mindelo. The property is clean, well-located, and offers reliable Wi-Fi, a delicious breakfast, and a lovely terrace. What truly sets it apart, however, is the outstanding hospitality of the local staff. Friendly, welcoming, and multilingual, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. They assisted me in renting a scooter and generously shared their knowledge of the area, offering valuable tips and recommendations.
• Ali (10/5): Exceptional - The house is striking and pink and all the taxi drivers know exactly where it is. As soon as you enter you can see this place is well organised, maintained, and decorated to a high standard. Dona Caurina and her assistant show you round.... the rooms are named after different islands in the group. Ours was Sto. Antao, that wild and breathtaking range of volcanic mountains just across the Sao Vincente channel, and a short hop on the frequent ferries. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 - we are vegetarian and vegan respectively, and they even baked a special vegan sponge cake for us. Lovely fresh baguette, home made Marmolada or mango compote, fresh juice, coffee, fruit salad.... Well, it all keeps you going till the evening . Above all, the welcoming attitude and friendliness is outstanding, and not unique in this land. As for value for money, this was the best we found in our independent three weeks on three islands . What's not to like? It was great.
• Mopation (9/5): Superb - Both ladies made sure to provide proper vegetarian breakfast specially for me :) Once when I have a trip very early in the morning, they brought me take away breakfast the evening before. The room was definitely worth the price. A/C and fan worked perfectly. Wifi was disconnecting from time to time, even if the router was just outside my room. Shower was very clean inside, but it could be a bit cleaner on the edges.

Easily walkable to restaurants, ATM, and grocery store. - Walkable distance from the ferry. Building was very easy to find because of the pink paint and clear name on the building. - Nice staff. Although we spoke different languages, the staff was friendly and did their best to answer questions. - The breakfast was very basic and included bread, fruit, coffee, and juice. It was fine, but an egg would have been great.

The breakfast give you energy to explore the Island. And always when I back to my room at end of the day, my room was clean and organized.
