Guest Reviews
- Keall (9/5): As above. - Great location overlook the river from the veranda. Clean and comfortable and great value for money. Would happily stay there again. Nothing
- Rodney (8/5): -
- Roland (1/5): - Bathroom Bed bugs
- Monteodorisio (10/5): You won't be disappointed! - The different art work and sculpture s are amazing. Rossy is welcoming and the beds are very comfortable. Cooked breakfast, yum! Nothing
- Martyn (9/5): Excellent - Host was extremely lovely. Her place is full of Art that overflows—crowding the space with colour, texture, and feeling, each piece adding its voice to a living chorus. In this abundance, art ceases to be decoration and becomes atmosphere—something you step into, something that carries you, something that reminds you how endlessly human creation can be.
- Stickland (10/5): Absolutely stunning location, excellent country view. - Excellent breakfast, early morning service exceptional.
Lovely stay.
- Melissa (10/5): Like being welcomed into a loving home. - A charming home full of art and character. The owner was so kind and helpful, picking me up and dropping me off the next morning.

- Veronica (8/5): Very good - Comfortable beds. Friendly host. Amazing art collections.
- Michael (8/5): Only our second B&B. Can't really compare. - Breakfast good. Better signage to house entrance would be good.
- Judy (7/5): Very interesting stay within easy walking distance of town, meals, shops etc - breakfast great, home cooked. Beds clean and comfortable, house eclectic but interesting, warm. Bathroom huge, clean
beautiful views and gardens ( these need considerable work) hostess very interesting, busy, trying to do too much on her own, but welcoming and happy to oblige
- Suzanne (4/5): Disappointing -
- Carol (4/5): Rosy is lovely but I think she wasn’t really well and it could be a little to much for her at this time - The host is lovely and friendly The cleanliness wasn’t very good.
- Brad (9/5): Superb -
- Belinda (7/5): Good -
- Brian (9/5): Superb -

- Carole (9/5): Enjoyable, convenient and very comfortable, due to the welcoming host. - Eclectic, quirky and unique! Initially I had trouble finding the place but once I realised it was near the speed limit signs all was well.
- Peter (9/5): Art House is more than we expected we would stay here again. - We stayed 3 days and used it as a base to do some driving tours. It was great for this. Rossy was a great host and made us feel at home. She provides a great breakfast choice of bacon and eggs and or continental. Place is full of interesting art works. Probably not for everyone one. Room is in the house. Suited us
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Phil (7/5): Good - Comfortable and quiet Hot water ran out
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Leonard (7/5): Quirky and interesting art - Good Need dusting in our room
- Gerald (8/5): Very good -
- Wayne (4/5): Not as advertised - The owner was very hospitable and has a host of art treasuries. The bathroom was large and clean. We felt it was not fairly represented in the advertising. The bathroom was not private it was shared with another room when it was occupied by another guest. There was no restaurant.
The bed was too large for the room. As a result it was cramped. It was also smelly. The fridge did not work and was not clean. We notified the owner but she may have struggled to keep it clean. The room was too crowded to use the microwave and we felt it would not have been safe anyway. There was no room for our bags.
There was another room which may have been better but it still had a shared bathroom.
The advertising and price should be updated to accurately reflect the standard of this room.
- Donal (7/5): Good -
- Goran (10/5): Rossy is the best host ever. - The host Rossy was above all expectations. One of the kindest and helpful host I ever had. Thanks indeed Rossy.
- Eve (9/5): Great. Brilliant host, location and homely feel. - Loved the location and all the artwork on the walls. Friendliness of the host made it a really lovely place to stay the night.
- Delwyn (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely host and very interesting artwork to look at. Signage could have been better
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maree (6/5): Pleasant -
- Corrin (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was lovely, really enjoyed the chatting of a morning. Lovely place to stay.
- Benjamin (9/5): Great overall, in a growing city - Healthy options only It could reduce some clutter in stairwell
- Newtonmeyer (2/5): Very poor - Big and comfortable bed. My room came with a desk that I could use well. The speed of the wifi was good. The property advertises its rooms as having a "private bathroom". This is not correct. The property has two bedrooms and one common bathroom on the floor which needs to be shared. Furthermore, the property advertises itself as having a restaurant on site. This is also not correct. The property is just a private home and there is no restaurant or coffee shop whatsoever.
The toilet was dirty and did not get cleaned during the two days I stayed there. The desk in my room was covered in dust. The whole property seemed messy to me. Other people referred positively to all the "art" the property is focused on. To me, it was rather cluttered and kitschy.
- Dale (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cathy (8/5): The host was warm and friendly, breakfast was delicious, accommodation quirky! -
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional - The art absolutely on every wall in every room. Breakfast was lovely
- Kerr (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jon (10/5): Excellent & unusual - It’s a house full of well presented & quality art with a view Shared bathroom/toilet but only a problem if more than one guest
- Bobby (9/5): Superb - The garden, the room and the privacy
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -
- Judith (8/5): Very good - Very welcoming, clean and comfortable.
- Sverrir (7/5): Good - The room was very cold.
- Undine (10/5): Fantastic - it was an amazing stay beautiful cosy fire was on when we arrived .. there was so much to look at at this property so interesting .. hostess was AMAZING
- Madeleine (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (9/5): Very comfortable and enjoyable. - The location was perfect for where I needed to be. The room was very comfortable and one thing in particular was noted - specifically there was a comfortable lounge chair with an adequate backrest to support your head in the room. I note this because even in expensive hotels, they now seem to only provide seating that is in the 1960's style, without head rests (low back couches and chairs). My back always hurts, and sometimes I just need a chair to sleep in. Magnificent to have it. Breakfast was included, with various options. I enjoyed my breakfasts during my stay. Signage to the house was adequate, but could be improved. Otherwise there was nothing that I disliked about the place.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nikki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reay (9/5): Unexpected and joyful - Rosie is an artist and avid collector of art works and Japanese Kiminos. We made purchases. There is a gallery where one can make purchases of beautiful garments, scarves and jewellery. The eccentricity of the unexpected was enjoyable as was the company of Rosie and the occupants of the other room. Also included was a cooked breakfast. - terrific value for money as well.
- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Jean (4/5): Disappointing - Owner was very nice & probably did her best. The standard of accommodation was below average for the price. Bed too small, room too cluttered, fridge not working, door kept opening in breeze. Overall very uncomfortable. SMELL on entering the house, the room, bed, pillows (hard), & clutter everywhere.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luxarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lloyd (4/5): Could not recommend this B&B. - The bedroom itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Cooked breakfast was a bonus. Hostess was friendly and accomodating. Shared bathroom, even though it was modern and well appointed. The balance of what is a modern house is very untidy due to a self confessed hoarder. Nothing like the photos online.
- Ross (8/5): Very good -
- Yvonne (2/5): Very poor - The host was lovely. The room very small and cluttered in a very cluttered environment. It seems to be significantly run down since photos. In this ad.
- Divine (8/5): Very good -
- Rita (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gypsy (7/5): Good - Nice and quiet.
Hostess was very friendly. The bed was a bit small and the pillows too hard.
- Bruce (5/5): Passable - Good location for our purpose.
Breakfast was very acceptable.
Room and bed was nice. Poor signage at entry.
Gardens and exterior very un keept.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Sherran (7/5): Good -
- Gregory (9/5): Superb -
- Val (2/5): Very poor - Hostess was very nice and helpful House was untidy and smelt
- Tashia (8/5): Very good -
- Nidhi (10/5): Exceptional - Like the house, host, location of the house
- Graham (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (8/5): Comfortable room with a comfortable bed was perfect for what I needed and far cheaper then a hotel. - Great location as I was travelling around the huon valley and this place allowed me to do that without getting stuck in the city. The art work in the house was amazing as well. Check in and checkout was simple. Little bit tricky to find looking for the house number. The GPS I was using didn't help as it pointed to another side street at the back of the block but nothing the place could do about that.
- Peter (10/5): Overally, what a great experience! Big thankyou to Rossy the host. - Yummy home made breakfast, wonderful art decor throughout the place. Very nice, well equipped comfy bedroom, big and spotlessly clean bathroom. I would highly recommend this place for traveling couple or a family. In my opinion, excellent value for money.
