• Nicole (7/5): - Das Frühstück war nicht inkludiert (das wussten wir), aber es war ausgezeichnet. Man konnte aus der Speisekarte bestellen, da das Hostel gleichzeitig ein Cafe ist. Unsere Zimmerfenster gingen direkt in den hinteren Hofbereich des Cafes. Bei uns war da nichts los und wir blieben nur eine Nacht, aber bei einem längeren Aufenthalt kann das lästig sein, weil man immer die Rollo geschlossen haben muss, wenn man Privatsphäre haben will.

• Lena Katharina (10/5): Magisch. Gemütlich. Für mich unvergesslich. - So ein tolles Hostel. Das Beste in dem ich je war (und ich bin schon viel gereist). Es ist wundervoll. Das Ambiente, die ruhige Seitenstraße, das warme Licht, die Tatsache in einem Café zu wohnen! Ich habe mich sehr sicher hier gefühlt, willkommen und konnte in der hektischen Stadt Pereira im Casa Azul entspannen. Danke für diese schöne Zeit. Ihr macht das toll. Ein bisschen unbequem war die Tatsache, dass mein Zimmerfenster direkt hinaus in den Hof geht, wo bis zehn Uhr abends Gäste sitzen. Ich habe also ständig die Rollos unten haben müssen und habe frische Luft vermisst. Andererseits ich trete aus der Tür und bin mitten in einem Café, wie toll ist das denn? ;D

Además, Dice que con parqueadero y nonpidimos ubicarlo, ya que esta retirado del lugar y no son claros en la ubicación del sitio, tuve que dejar mi vehículo frente al hotel, en la calle.

• Sofia (8/5): Buen lugar para pasar una noche en Pereira - El estilo del lugar muy bueno. Muy Limpio y ordenado. El desayuno estaba muy rico. La chica que nos atendió, Salomé, fue muy linda, nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo. La ubicación es muy buena y el barrio se sentia muy seguro. La habitación era muy pequeña y faltaba un velador. La habitación daba al comedor y un hombre comenzó a hablar muy fuerte a las 6am, lo que impidió que durmieramos hasta la hora deseada. Verdadaderamente fueron detalles, pero son esas cositas las que hacen la diferencia. De todos modos es un lugar muy lindo al que volvería.

• Evelin (7/5): Not bad - The whole place is beautiful, the streets are clean and safe, the shop is closeby, it’s a good choice to stay a few nights. The room did not have a window which made it to be very hot. We had to open the door to breathe. The receptionists are not really helpful. We had to leave early to catch our flight and they were not cooperating at all to give us the breakfast to take. After asking several times, we received two bananas.

• Emily (6/5): Make sure to book a room with a window. - Very nice and friendly staff who were helpful in responding to questions. Our room in the ground floor did not have any window. It was super hot and the air was bad quality. The ventilator in the en suite bathroom did not work so all the moisture stayed in the room. There were grey spots in the ceiling in the bathroom and the bedroom that looked like mold. The room had a ventilator but it was too noisy to have it on at night. In the end we had to sleep with the room door open but still we barely slept. We had planned for two nights but left for another hostel because we did not want to spend another sleepless night.

Hostel staff should be constantly checking beds for bugs and providing safe environments for guests.

• Yolandai&stevy (9/5): We had a good time @Casa Azul! - We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul! -very friendly and courteous staff -we had a spacious 2-bed room with a fan (there are different rooms, some could be smaller) -the beds are "OK", but we still slept well -The location is very quiet -very good breakfast, great coffee and fine pastries -simple menu - but very tasty -Located in a nice, safe residential area -There are some restaurants about 15' walking distance (to DownTown it's best to take an Uber) -Wifi worked perfectly -they have a kitchen to prepare your food (we didn't use it, so I can't say much about it) -a fair price-performance ratio *We would definitely like to recommend Casa Azul*

• Aurélie (7/5): Good place near the airport - Nice & cute coffee shop, the rooms a bit less but they are comfortable with what you need for 1 or 2 nights, as a stopover before an early flight or to explore the areas of Pereira. 10 min taxi to the airport, and same to the bus terminal. Area felt safe to walk at night (big supermarket nearby) When they say they accept credit card payment, they should also say about the commission. As I had to leave after 6am, I could not get breakfast but as it’s a coffee shop, they could have offered a cake to take away.

• Andbrice (6/5): Pleasant - Staff is friendly and helpful. This place is a good, inexpensive option for short-term stays. The single room was way too small and got REALLY hot. Even though my booking mentioned there would be a fan, I had to push to get one. This place acts as a coffee shop during the day and it gets REALLY loud. I was not a fan of the breakfast option but that's simply a matter of preference. If you need to work remotely and have calls to take, I would warn you about the noise levels, not only here but everywhere else in Colombia.

It‘s a riddle to me how you can offer this room as accommodation! It has no window and is unbearable hot and there is no air circulation possible. There‘s a fan in the room which is not much of a help. Seriously, if you stay there: Don’t book this room. And to the staff of the hotel: you can’t continue offering this room. You won’t have any satisfied guests with this.
• Alba (10/5): Cute patio and superbe coffee - Super nice hotel/hostel to sleep 1-2 nights. WC where amazing, nice and hot water and good preasure. Rooms are tinny but comfy. The patio and the "commun" areas are suuuuuuuuper nice and cute. Breakfast is a must and the explanation of the coffee ( if you ask for it, it's amazing ) Area is a bit industrial, but quiet and safe :) So, nothing to say.

• Jack (10/5): Hidden gem in Pereira! - This is a hostel done right! The dorm room was comfortable with plenty of space, plus a towel was provided. The chill out spaces were great, such a relaxed vibe here. They also served a delicious breakfast in the morning. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind, even with the language barrier. They even phoned a taxi to the airport for me and stored my bags too. Thanks for an great stay!

I returned 4 times during my time simply because the hostel had such a wonderful peaceful atmosphere. You can clearly see that Natalia and Joram put their hearts in this place to make sure their guests feel like home. It was great to see how their family business is evolving as they are seeking for new opportunities to further improve the already amazing hostel. Recently they opened a Cafe in the lobby with some very delicious bites and coffes. The warm welcome, the cute design, the impeccable cleanliness, the breakfast, the STAFF made my stay very special. I will return when I come back to Colombia for sure. The location is also awesome, in a nice, safe and quiet neighbourhood of the city very close to supermarkets and 15 min easy walk from the center. Thank you again for the great memories I had here. 😊
