- Glenn (9/5): Aangenaam verblijf en goed gelegen - De locatie was voor ons interessant. Op Wandel afstand van club Eroxx. Een rustige authentiek en charmante B&B . Ruime propere kamer met comfortabel bed. Vriendelijke gastvrouw die je bij het ontbijt met plezier een eitje bakt. Bovendien kan je de zomer genieten van het zwembad.

- Nicoline (9/5): Het was een heerlijk ontspannen weekend in een prachtige B&B. - De ligging was erg mooi. Onze kamer, Den Burgemeester, keek uit over de mooi aangelegde tuin en het zwembad. De kamer was prachtig en zeer schoon, de bedden en het beddengoed kraakhelder en alles rook zalig. Het ontbijt was precies goed. Er waren verse sappen en een zalige koffiebonenmachine. De gastvrouw maakte op verzoek een omeletje. Wel misten wij een gekookt eitje en sneetjes brood. De streekprodukten waren ook erg lekker. Het dorpje Balen is niet heel bijzonder maar er zijn wel wat leuke restaurantjes. Wij hebben zalig gegeten bij In de Statie en koffie gedronken bij Koffieklap. We komen graag nog eens terug als het zwembad open is. Op de kamer waren geen koffie- en thee faciliteiten. We kwamen er helaas ietwat laat achter dat we de koffiemachine in de ontbijtruimte mochten gebruiken. Misschien goed dit duidelijk te maken op de kamer.

- michel (10/5): gezellig schoon vrij om in te komen met code gezellig gebouw - ontbijt was heel goed de locatie ook super en de gastheer ontzettend vriendelijk wij gaan hier zeker nog eens terug de kussens zijn erg bol daar zou ik een tweede lagere bij leggen als ik de b&b was, maar dat is ook het enige min punt. ooh ja een klein koelkastje op de kamer misschien voor de rest top!!!

- Crombez (8/5): Prachtig pand op een ideale locatie - Schitterend pand op een ideale locatie. Parking voor de deur. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw die op onze vraag eerder dan voorzien het ontbijt verzorgde. De TV stond ver van het bed verwijderd, haperde en was zeer klein. Voor deze prijs misschien het ontbreken van bodylotion en een spiegel in de kamer zelf.

- Tjitske (10/5): Topverblijf in hartje Balen - Wat een prachtige B&B! Alles is met smaak ingericht waarbij de authenticiteit van het pand volledig intact is gebleven. Het ontbijt was dik voor elkaar met aandacht voor detail. Er ligt een grote diepe tuin achter het pand met een heerlijk zwembad. En tot slot een allerhartelijkste gastvrouw. Aanrader! Helemaal niets.

- Frederik (10/5): Een toppertje - Topplekje! Supervriendelijke eigenaars, prachtige woning met zwembad, luxekamers, mooi interieur en topontbijt! Zelfs voor mensen met coeliakie zorgde de uitbater voor een ruime keuze aan glutenvrije producten. Een aanrader voor wie met de fiets door Vlaanderen kruist of als je een weekendje in de omgeving van Balen wil gaan wandelen of fietsen. Deze mensen doen dit met hart en ziel. Uiteraard geen kritiek! In dit huis wil je wonen ;-)

- Elke (9/5): - Alles was prima. Mooie, ruime, propere kamer en badkamer met balkon en uitzicht op zwembad. Lekker, gevarieerd ontbijt en zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. /
- Pum (10/5): Mooie B en B in statig pand met zwembad en schitterende tuin - Wat een genot om hier te mogen verblijven. Wij waren met 3 vriendenstellen en hadden zelf een moderne kamer met een heerlijk bed in het “bijgebouw”. Deze grenst aan een diepe fantastisch aangelegde tuin waar je in alle rust kunt ontspannen. Dat verwacht je niet van een B en B midden in het centrum. Wij konden lekker in de tuin genieten van het super uitgebreide ontbijt en als je van zwemmen houdt dan kun je een baantje trekken in het zwembad. Op loop afstand zit genoeg horeca maar als je de deur niet uit wilt dan kun je tegen betaling gebruik maken van de goed gevulde honesty bar. Kortom wij hebben genoten! Als kleine tip, de kussens zijn vrij dik.

Het was een heerlijke mini vakantie, een hele luxe plek, met liefdevolle eigenaren, een fantastisch ontbijt 🤩 Alleen de ligging: het is een klein dorpje waar niet zoveel te beleven is

- Parisa (7/5): Good - The building was nicely decorated, the family room was spacious and the breakfast was good. 1.The coffee machine did not work, which makes it inconveniet for the guests to pick up coffee or tea apart from the breakfast time, considering that there is no electric kettle available. We were told that the machine has a problem which is then highly recommended to be fixed or replaced. 2. A better air conditioning system is required for the room and bathroom.

It’s on the countryside; once inside this beautiful old building with its serene garden with pool area, you almost forget the B&B is actually located inside a small town center with all amenities nearby. Well worth a detour! I can imagine it could get a bit hot inside on a sunny day.
