• Sophie (7/5): - Sehr nette Gastgeber, Lage zentral in Berat. Badezimmer sehr klein und die Toiletten nicht optimal. Fenster konnte man je nach Zimmer nicht zum Lüften öffnen und diese waren sehr schalldurchlässig- sprich hatte man ein Zimmer zur belebten Straße, hat man alles gehört. Frühstück war mittelmäßig. Nur Barzahlung, hätte man im Vorfeld kommunizieren müssen!!!

• Manuel (10/5): Increible - Highly recommended. The price was perfect, and the staff were very friendly, pleasant, and very kind. They help you with everything and are always attentive 24 hours a day. The hotel was perfect, with incredible views. The breakfast was excellent, with views over the city center. It is in a perfect location. The room was clean and very beautiful! If I come back, I would choose the same hotel again.

Es gibt aber eine Klimaanlage die auch heizen kann. Das haben wir zu spät gemerkt. Daher wäre es bei einer weiteren Nacht wohl wärmer gewesen

• Craig (9/5): Definitely a great place to spend the night in old town Berat - Very cozy stay in the perfect location in Berat. The room was clean and cheery although a little small. Owner was extremely helpful with guidance and assistance with parking right across the street from the villa. Breakfast on the lovely balcony was outstanding. Air conditioning worked very well. The bathroom had a minor leak that was quickly addressed and the room could use a small table for storage.

• Melina (9/5): Really loved it! - Loved the room, the shower, the sweet lady and the breakfast on the balcony with the amazing view! The only bad thing I can think of is there is really hard to get there because of the stairs and there is no handle on a part of the stairs, so in addition with the bags wasn't easy. The staff helped us with our bags on the way up but when we left we handled it on our own.

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very modern, while still being part of a historic building with such a fascinating story, it’s definitely worth taking the time to hear about it. Everything was very clean, and the location couldn’t have been better: just a few minutes’ walk to all the main sights in Berat. Having a parking space right in front of the property was also a huge plus for us as we were traveling by car. Breakfast was delicious and well-balanced, and Mishel and his family were such warm and welcoming hosts. We truly felt at home and would come back in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

• Ande (6/5): Pleasant - Aesthetics 9 / comfort 2. The house was incredibly beautiful and all the interiors were beautifully and professionally designed. The location was amazing and we had a parking spot. Unbearable smell of detergent on all sheets and towels, which made sleep an ordeal. Got an allergic reaction from it. No actual counter space except for one small table, no drawers or closets, no bin in the room (only bathroom), no paper tissues or anyhing of that sort a person might need during a night's stay. Extremely minimalist. No blankets, we were cold all night (we did not have the AC on, but needed to open the window a lot to be able to breathe because of the smelly sheets). Extremely limited breakfast. Having previously discussed that we would like eggs and bacon for breakfast (not being able to have dairy and gluten), all that each of us could have was 1 (!) egg each. We were served one egg each and some sausage, that usually contains dairy so we could not risk our allergies. No choice for the tea either, no milk for coffe, the tea water smelled heavily of chlorine. We left hungry. Ridiculously early check out time al 10.00! We could negotiate for 10.30 which is still preposterous. PS. The owner did not leave an expression during our stay that we were welcome to ask any of the things lacking.

Great value for money! The curtains don’t cover the window properly in room 3, letting the light in very early in the morning.

• Inge (10/5): Perfect and Amazing! - Beautifully newly renovated rooms with comfortable beds and luxurious and spacious bathrooms. Amazing view of the old town from the room. Great location with reserved parking just outside on the street which is rare. The hosts are amazing with great communication, Tony waited outside to assist with parking. They even made us an amazing breakfast extra early because we had to travel a long way on the day checking out. We will book our trip next time around the availability of these rooms. Highly recommended!

When we arrived the father helped us park (we parallel parked directly outside the place). It is steep steps up to the place, but he kindly carried our bags. Our room was beautiful, with a spacious bathroom, great walk in shower. The view from the juliette balcony was really pretty, it looks at other houses, but that's what you want as it shows the pretty windows. The standout part was the breakfast, it was the best food and beautifully presented. Would 100% stay here when visiting again!

• William (10/5): Wonderful Villa Mishel - The owners, with an extesive generatonal history in Berat, were lovely, kind, attentive people. Breakfast was as great as others had noted, as were the accommodations. And, had the room been available for another night, I would have gladly extended my stay. The directions to the location, provided through Booking.com, were terrible, but I telephoned the hosts, and they kindly corrected the error. I can not sing the praises of Villa Mishel enough, and I highly recommend that one stay there while visiting beautiful Berat. There was nothing I didn't like
• Idan (10/5): Lovely place with lots of charm - Perfectly located, lots of charm, nice colors and attention to details. Most important - the bed was super comfortable, we slept really great. Great breakfast on the balcony with an amazing view. On our last day we had to leave quite early, so the owner arrange us a “take away” bag for the morning, which was really nice! The communication over WhatsApp with the host was very easy and overall we had a really great time!

• Mathilde (10/5): Lovely stay in Berat which Villa Mishel Suites contributed to! - Breakfast was lovely, very fresh and balanced, and staff let us have it half an hour later than we were supposed to be allowed which was very accommodating and kind. We were also allowed to leave our bags to visit the city more before leaving. The location was great with a beautiful and sunny view at breakfast. All the amenities worked perfectly (good shower pressure which for some reason is rare nowadays and good AC). The staff was very kind and answered all our questions which was very helpful.

A parking spot held for us too which was extremely helpful as hard to come by in Berat. Place very hard to find make sure you get proper directions before you go, a watts app message sent to us during day we were due to arrive which we didn’t receive as no network for us. Bed slightly hard for us and bathroom floor was very wet after a shower.

The breakfast was thoughtfully laid out and tasty. The address on booking.com for this property is incorrect. It is missing the house number of “1111” after the street name. When copying it from booking.com and pasting it into google maps we ended up on a terrifying impassable road. Very stressful! Please edit this on your website for others. The host did not speak any English so communication was a bit tough.

The facilities are new and the bed is very comfortable. The lady is very nice and makes an amazing breakfast which is served at the terrace and the gentleman was supercool and reserved an space at the door for us to be able to park our car. Its a cozy tiny hotel with great hosts.

For us, location is perfect as it’s like in the middle of tourist attractions and city centre but in a quiet area. They also gave complimentary albanian wine and the breakfast was superb! Just let them know what time do you want your breakfast and they will prepare it to you in the veranda. We can’t take enough for the mother of Mishel who took care of us during our stay, she’s so lovely! All in all it was a perfect stay 🤎 Nothing. We like everything.
• Levina (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful Stay at Mishel’s Villa! Our stay at Mishel’s Villa was amazing! The place was spotless, with everything smelling fresh and clean. Despite staying only two nights, the bathroom was fully stocked with supplies. The villa also had a stunning view, surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers that made it even more charming. Miss Bona, the owner, was very welcoming and prepared a delicious, generous breakfast at the exact time we requested. Her son greeted us upon arrival, helped with parking, and gave great local recommendations. A unique touch was the collection of ancient pottery pieces found in their garden, adding character to the house. We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this lovely place!

You couldn't ask for a better location in Berat, and Mishel's mother, Bona (sp), who took care of meals and everything else was very kind and helpful. The room was immaculate, contemporary, and peaceful, with a pretty view of the hills behind the villa. Breakfast is on a little balcony. You're a pleasant walk to the castle, which is quite unique, and you're across the street from 1001 Albanian Adventures, which is a perfect local tour operator offering real insights and unique adventures. Berat is gorgeous and you'll be lucky to book at Villa Mishel. Nothing to dislike!

• James (8/5): Great location, comfortable bed,and good breakfast, great staff - Extremely comfortable bed, breakfast was amazing, great location The bathroom is a wet bath but the floor doesn’t slope towards the drain so when you take a shower, the entire room is flooded with water.
