Arranging onward travel. Everything written about 'Ashot Shalunts' by previous reviewers is true. Wonderful.
- Denes (10/5): Exceptional - The owners welcomed me with genuine hospitability and shared useful tips about Syunik province. The bed was comfortable, the homemade vodka was strong and the cooking was one of the best I had the luck to taste in the whole Caucasus region. Wholeheartedly recommended.
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional - I never write reviews, but I’d love to make an exception for Ashot and Alvard. I had an amazing time in Goris due to them! Very hospitable and they offer everything you could wish for to enjoy your time. Ashot offers tours, he really takes the time to show you not only Tatev etc, but also hidden gems in the area. I highly recommend having dinner as well, because the food Alvard makes is simply amazing! And most of the ingredients from their own garden, just like the vodka they serve you, which is great.
