Guest Reviews
- Dejan (10/5): - Kamin pripremljen za potpalu i puno cepanica ispred kuće, pun frižider, sveže voće, parking,
- Gillian (10/5): We were only there for the night but the cottage was comfortable with a beautiful fire. - We didn't have the breakfast but the fridge and cupboards were stocked for breakfast. There was eggs, bacon bread, milk cereal everything you need for a healthy breakfast. There was nothing I didn't like about the property
- Robyn (9/5): Quaint historic cottage in a great location - The historic cottage was extremely comfortable and situated in the main street , walking distance to restaurants and shops. The covered outdoor space was perfect for relaxing with a book and a glass of wine. Our hosts provided fresh bacon and eggs for breakfast. Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): Highly recommended cottage getaway. - Lovely cottage in the centre of town, easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants beach. We stayed 5 nights. Comfortable bed, separate lounge, kitchen and laundry. Great old style bath with a garden view. Breakfast ingredients provided. Highly recommended adult getaway. Nothing
- Geraint (9/5): Great place - Just about everything Maybe I didn’t read the details carefully enough when I booked , but when the rate includes breakfast then I expect it to be cooked for me, not be in the fridge ready for me to cook - I’m on holiday I don’t cook when I’m on holiday.
- Moira (10/5): A beautiful comfortable cottage in the heart of Robe - Beautiful cottage and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay including a lovely breakfast
- Joanne (10/5): - Beautiful characterful cottage. Although right on the High Street it was very peaceful. We felt that compared to other similar places and the price the included breakfast was rather skimpy. Sliced bread, plastic tubs of cereal, eggs and bacon. No fresh fruit, yoghurt or juice.
- Chris (8/5): On a very busy weekend we enjoyed the stay, the space and that the little house was surprising quiet - As regular tea drinkers we were disappointed that the tea bags were a little old and flavourless. We simply bought some more so all ok.
- Kirsten (8/5): - Fabulous location and very comfortable bed
- William (10/5): Beautiful stay in a beautiful cottage - Beautiful cottage in a great location. Loved reading about the history of the cottage, and to the owners answer to your question, paint the fence white, we had a lovely breakfast and a great bath. Robe itself was a lovely wee place, the beach is stunning. Would highly recommend staying at victoria cottage

We loved having the wood fire
We also enjoyed being right in the town because we could walk to everything Nothing
- Paul (9/5): A cosy (cozy) cottage located within a lovely seaside village. - Location was great, shame the weather was wet, cold and windy. The facility was great. We lit the wood heater and had a relaxing stay. Nothing to report.

- Catherine (10/5): We had a wonderful, although far too short a stay in Robe. We highly recommend Victoria Cottage. - We loved how the house was presented- so beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean, lovely linen, comfortable beds and a generously stocked kitchen. The house had so much character and made you feel as if you were stepping back in time into Robe's most interesting history. Everything was just great- can't say there was anything we didn't like.

Check in couldn’t have been easier, within a few metres from a beautiful beach, several places to eat, a great pub The Cally and a food store. Items for breakfast were provided which was a good bonus and there was plenty. Definitely recommend. Wished we could have stayed for longer.

- Sawa (7/5): Great location and stay, just needs some minor TLC - Location, comfort and cleanliness.
Hand wash, towells, beds and soaps were great. Some of the supplies were quite stale including fruit (inedible), coffee (really bad), juice (almost out of date) and bread (frozen and stale).
Finish tablets for dishwasher was also old and unusable.
Host visited the backyard unannounced which we didn't like either.

A lovely break
- Brenniep (10/5): A Great place to stay - The cottage was very comfortable and has all the facilities that anyone would want. It has a full kitchen with with all appliances including a coffee machine and dishwater. When we arrived on a very cold day we were pleased to find the wood heater burning and providing plenty of warmth. The cottage is located in the main street so it is easy to walk to all the shops and eating places including the supermarket. It was spotlessly clean and we would be happy to stay here again. The only thing that may be an issue at peak times is backing out of the property into the main street. This wasn't an issue for us but may be for some.
- Patricia (10/5): Excellent we couldn’t ask for more - We have stayed at Victoria Cottage several times snd it never disappoints. Andrew and Sally provide a beautiful charming Cottage leaving guests with everything they expect. So warm on a cold night with a lovely wood fire, excellent breakfast provisions, beautiful comfy bed. Walk out the front door to all Robe has to offer.

- Ian (10/5): Only stayed one night but wished we had stayed longer - Great style and appointment
Very well renovated
Every thing was provided
Could live there for a week big kitchen fully fitted, no need to go out for meals could cook in house, full laundry
- Julie (10/5): Execellent accomodation, wonderful location and very pretty Robe. - Victoria Cottage is superb. The location is situated in the heart of Robe close to many coffee shops, excellent Pubs and Restaurants. We loved that we could walk to the Beach and surroundings shops. Robe is steeped in history. This question is difficult. We actually didn’t find anything that we didn’t like. We found the visit to the Cape Jaffa lighthouse a bit disappointing.

- Andrea (10/5): A beautiful cottage that I would love to return to for a longer stay. - An attractive historic cottage, tastefully decorated. Beautiful linen, food for breakfast and a folder full of local information. everything was perfect
- Maria (8/5): A Piece of Paradise in Robe - Everything was clean. The breakfast provided was great. It was a central location. The cottage was well set up and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There needed to be greater instructions about fire setting for the novice as well as the way to get the most from the fireplace. Some indication of the SMART unit would also have been useful for those with limited tech skills. A full length mirror would also have been useful.
- Ann (10/5): A wonderful, chilled out break. - An excellent place to stay. The attention to detail and the great location made for a very pleasurable stay. The cottage was spacious, warm and very comfortable.
- Stephen (9/5): wonderful experience of a loved old home - beautiful old home close to shopping area
- Martin (10/5): Memorable. - The slow combustion fire was a bonus. The cottage was very comfy, warm and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was wonderful to wake up to and enjoy. You really wouldn't want to leave once you are settled. The new addition at the rear of the building is great. I would highly recommend the Caledonian Inn for dinner. This historical cottage is within walking distance of the whole town and is one of the lovliest picturesque towns in the region.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sawa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dr (10/5): A perfect stay for two - This is a delightful, cosy two bedroom cottage in the pretty town of Robe. We loved the log fire and comfortable beds. There were plenty of places to eat, despite the winter off season. The town is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by water views on the headland. It has a very interesting history of early settlers and ship wrecks.
- Libby (9/5): Fantastic there were many extra touches provided that made it very welcoming - Breakfast was great traditional Bacon and eggs provided plus options in the pantry
- Tracey (9/5): A lovely, comfortable and character-filled home, with everything you’ll need. - Location was wonderful, right near cafes, pubs, restaurants and beach. Hosts handy and responsive.
Lovely old home with all mod cons. Wonderful range of pantry items, generous breakfast and lots of bench space. Very spacious for an old cottage. We appreciated the little touches of fresh flowers, fruit and the fire ready to go, with plenty of wood handy. Cosy and warm. Pantry well stocked and great backyard for warmer months. Not used to using induction hot plates, we had trouble, so a manual or an instruction sheet, would have come in handy.
- Marian (10/5): Exceptional -
