Guest Reviews
- Denil (7/5): -
- Nathalie (9/5): - Vue magnifique
Spacieux
Confortable
- Petrus (8/5): Very good -
- Tracey (10/5): Excellent friendly beautiful STAY. - Friendly welcome. Lovely room and all staff very friendly and professional. The Korean restaurant highly recommend. High standard lovely food and breakfast carefully laid out for you. By a beautiful river to enjoy a walk and stunning area .
- Franz (8/5): Charming room with a great view - Clean, spacious and charming room with wonderful view. The area in the tower was particularly charming. Paint is crackling, likely from humidity/water infiltration. The balcony from the bathroom was full of pigeon droppings (not cleaned).
- George (8/5): Wish we could have stayed longer - Location was beautiful. Staff very friendly
- David (9/5): Superb - Great location and the view of the river from the little lounge in the turret was lovely. Great food from the Korean bbq restaurant downstairs also parking was a bonus room was very comfortable and excellent shower I arrived at 5pm for check in but no one was there so had to wait around for a short while but this was a very minor inconvenience.
- Keith (7/5): pleasant B&B in a very nice location - great location overlooking the River Meuse and good for a riverside walk. plenty of good restaurants in Profondeville. bedroom up 4 flights of steep stairs
- Stevendionne (10/5): Exceptional - Very good No
- Christophe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hn (7/5): Good - It was very nice. Great view of the river. Noise of the road.
- Alan (10/5): Perfect for our needs with a wonderful view of the river. - Very pleasant staff and a homely atmosphere.
The restaurant was excellent and the staff very helpful with cooking at the table. Nothing.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Celia (9/5): A great stopover for bike riders! - The property had a beautiful setting next to the Meuse river.
We were able to store our bikes safely overnight.
- Hollychoi (8/5): Very good - The view of room is very good. The room is comfortable The bath water is not enough hot. The room is not quite because the ground floor is restaurant which is closed 11pm. So that many noise from restaurant.
- Rozemijn (8/5): Very good -
- Mikel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gackowski (10/5): Nice and comfortable. - Food is delicious!
- Lenacherkasova (6/5): Pleasant - It was warm in the room. The place is really nice. Person should wait directly till 17.00, you can't check in earlier even if you come at 16.45. There's just no one open a door to the building for you even if the workers are inside and see you. We called 2 times, because we wasn't sure, where is the entrance to the hotel but only directly at 17.00 they let us in.
The sound proofing are also bad, you can clearly hear everything on the stairs.
The bathroom was huge, but the towels had very strange smell.
Also the checkout was strange, the didn't give us any instructions, and when we come to the reception, again, there was no one. I also tried to call, but also without answer. So we just left the key on the reception.
- Taline (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Rooms were large and beautifully decorated and appointed, making the most of a beautiful position overlooking the River Meurse.
Bathroom too was huge and beautifully decorated, and what a view from the loo!
Staff were very friendly.
The Korean Grill was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone staying. We ate out on the terrace.
Breakfast too was lovely, out on the terrace.
I would recommend a stay ... and the strawberries 🍓 if in season. Nothing. Just take note of the stairs, our rooms were on the 3rd floor, but well worth the climb!
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing views over the Meuse River. Outdoor terrace with delicious Korean barbecue restaurant run by the owners.
- Thomas (8/5): A clean and comfortable place with a great restaurant. - The location near the river is great. The on-site parking was very handy. The on-site restaurant was excellent and handy. A comfortable place. There’s no lift and lots of steep stairs. we managed just fine but be aware. The rooms are recently renovated and quite comfortable but there is very little charm to the place. The outside gives you an impression of a historic hotel but little of that remains inside.
- Kiltmaker (8/5): Very good -
- Moureau (9/5): gorgeous view - beautiful
- Els (10/5): Exceptional - The restaurant downstairs is a great bonus! Excellent food!
- Lucie (8/5): Very good -
- Bob (8/5): Comfortable B&B above the Korean restaurant - The B&B is just above the Korean restaurant - so not far to walk. It was a simple but good breakfast in the morning. Nothing.
- Sven (9/5): Superb -
- Mala (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gvw (7/5): Good - Location is beautiful and the room very nice and spacious. Friendly personnel. Was not impressed by the quality of the breakfast.
- Neil (9/5): Superb - Great quirky large room, with parking and Korean bbq for food Attention to detail..kettle no cups, tea no coffee all minor detail.
- Sara (8/5): Very good - The view on the river is very beautiful and it worths a diversion if travelling nearby.
The village is quiet and charmy, and welll known for strawberries.
The staff is very nice and helpful.
The Korean restaurant is good and clean.
We had a pleasant stay and we highly recommend it
- Bert (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (7/5): Good - Very good location. not very well maintained.
