- Claire (8/5): Convenient for the town. - Location ideal. Nice and quiet. Rooms nice. Clean and comfortable. A lot of stairs and rooms are on all different floors. Bathroom and toilet is two floors down. Not ideal itâs a shame.

- Edita (8/5): Good except for the climb of stairs - Location, spacious and clean Lots of stairs,40 steps to get to the bedroom. We were all seniors at 65 to 72.Climbing up to third floor is no fun.
- Vic (10/5): A lovely place to stay. Very friendly people & a fantastic location & great value đ - Very close to the ypres centre & lovely large room & excellent value for money.
Parking outside of building is only for 2 hours during the day but if you go up the road & turn left there is free parking which we used the next day đ Steep stairs but not a problem for us
- Kristen (7/5): Comfortable stay - Good location, very comfortable accommodation. The layout of rooms was unusual, and lots of stairs between bedroom and bathroom
- Patrick (8/5): - Good value for money! Free morning coffee!
10 minutes from city center.
- Linda (8/5): - Simple and comfortable room. Friendly owner. Overnight on street parking. (And longer term free car parks 5-10 mins walk away)

- Andrew (9/5): - Location. Cleanliness. Facilities. Just be aware of the narrow stairs if you intend having large luggage cases.
- Neville (9/5): Clean and simple perfect location - Great location, just a few minutes walk from the centre. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and maintained. Simple and basic but perfect for our needs being out all day. Nice coffee and tea available in the kitchen upstairs. Only thing was the WiFi had no Internet, Im sure it would have been sorted if we complained but we were not that bothered.
- Ollie P (6/5): Great location but the check-in was very poor and the staff aren't staff, it's a family's house. - Great location of the property. The check-in process was appalling. We had to walk into some person's house to get the keys and a teenager came downstairs not expecting us to be there. The rooms weren't ready when we arrived. They got them turned around quickly but it was a difficult process. The toilet still had foul in it from someone.
- Lesley (3/5): - Location for town square and menin gate "Private bathroom" was down 2 flights of stairs and could also be accessed by guests sraying in other rooms owner maintained it was private as there was a key to lock door on inside. There was no wifi, owner stated shed only paid for it on day we arrived and as it was Good Friday it wouldnt be activated until after Easter. This meant there was also no TV as it needed internet to work
- Tim (5/5): -
- Sabine (7/5): Good mattress - cold welcome - It was a very good location near the city center.
The venue was very clean.
Mattress we nice to sleep on - good mattress It was very cold in the house and in the room upon arrival - I found this very unwelcoming. I tried to contact the owners because of early arrival and did not get any reply. My room was not ready when I arrived.
Bedsheet were synthetic,

- Jefrey (10/5): Lovely - definitely one of our faves - This is a lovely property in a lovely location close to the train station and 10 minute walk from the town! Rooms and facilities are a great size Location and period style features
- Kristien (7/5): - Nabijheid station Ongezellig. Te koele inrichting
- Richard (8/5): -
- Gerard J (8/5): -
- Inga (7/5): - Ligging ok. Proper.
We hadden ontbijt verwachtâŠ.
- Baker (7/5): A good basic accommodation close to town so we could easily walk around town to enjoy the sites and to the train station - Very good location in Ypres for walking around and enjoying the town. Clean and had all the basics you needed. Shared kitchen was handy. A heavier blanket on the beds would be helpful in winter. Be fine in summer but a bit cold in winter. While there was a kitchen with tea and coffee facilities there was no coffee available.

- Elizabeth (8/5): Clean tidy serviceable - Firstly, we were not expecting the Ritz - this is a b&b (well, bed mostly no breakfast). This little b&b isn't the fanciest or quirky but is clean and functional with a lovely host who was super helpful. She's didn't speak great English but we got there. It is conveniently located between the station and the town square. There is a well equipped kitchen and seating for self catering on the first floor.
I would stay there again - clean and tidy goes a long way. On the down side, we had the ground floor room which had a curtain over the window - this partiality closed so some light came through this might be an issue. The bed sheets were very thin and we could see the mattress beneath which bothered me a bit (I'm a fan of a mattress protector).
- Daniel (7/5): Praktische overnachting - Genoeg ruimte, schoon en nieuw. Er was koffie maar geen theezakjes.
- Pter (9/5): Peaceful, relaxing, quiet - Location was perfect, room tidy and clean, shower room spotless and kitchen area was an added bonus Nothing
- Howard (6/5): Nice except for bathroom access. - The location was good, the rooms were nice, but quite echoey. The bedrooms were nice and temp was good but the lower levels were cold ( thermostat showed 14deg C in kitchen couldnât adjust) They really need to advise you that the bathroom is two floors below the bedroom. I expected the rooms would be on a higher level but did not expect we would be constantly traversing the narrow stairs with loose railing⊠it was extremely difficult for my wife who has mobility issues.
- Da Silva (10/5): Sem comentĂĄrios - Tudonada
- Coban (7/5): -
- Alan (8/5): Loved Ypres and location excellent - The ground floor accommodation. The property cleanliness and the location. Nothing to mention
- Roger (9/5): Excellent value in an excellent location. - A warm welcome with host providing plenty of information of the area. The accommodation offered good size, well equipped rooms with comfortable beds. Kitchen facilities were of the same high standard.
- Malcolm (10/5): -
- Titus (8/5): -
- Claire (8/5): Highly recommend - Location is excellent.
It's clean, comfy and a good size.
Owner and her brother were very friendly. Due to the lack of carpets it can be a bit noisy if there is another family using the other apartment.
We could have done with more than one pillow per bed.
- Josée (9/5): -
- Paul (8/5): Good, apart from parking - Great location Advertised with on site parking , which is why we booked it , on arrival there is not , itâs on the street , which was not ideal for our motorbikes
- Carmencita (1/5): - Location Wasn't the room on the picture. Toilet was outside the room. Sheets was dirty and bad quality. The lady that check in was very sarcastic and sad was the only one avaliable so we end up staying only one night instead of two and had to pay for another hotel.
- Anita (9/5): - This is an historic house. The outside is original, the inside has been updated and seems to be very recently. There is one room on the entry level with a bathroom. We had 2 bedrooms on the top floor and a separate bathroom. There is a shared kitchen and dining area with free coffee/tea available. The location was great, being a short walk to the city center. If you are driving a car, parking is on the street but was easy to find in front of the house. You receive a parking pass you leave in your window. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood - we had the room in the back of the house, slept with the window open and didn't hear a thing all night! Not a problem for us - but something to consider. Our room was on the top floor, down one flight is the kitchen, down another flight was our designated bathroom (2 flights on old steep stairs). We ate out, but did have coffee in the kitchen. The dishwasher isn't useable (yet) - it's new, but still had all that paperwork inside. And to use the cooktop, you would need pan. There are glasses, cups, plates, silverware, but nothing to cook with.
- Gary (10/5): Great location staff were very helpful and friendly - Location was great property was very clean parking was very good Nothing
- Jacqueline (10/5): Lovely place - This is a very clean and comfortable stay. It's a very short walk to the centre
- Blake (9/5): Yip to Ypres - Very clean, spacious apartment. Very well equipped. Carting all my biker luggage up the stairs. LOL.
- Sian (10/5): Thank you was lovely and if back in Ypres would visit - It was light airy and so close to the centre, parking is free on the street. If you wanted to cook facilities were excellent , would come back if accepted Maybe a little issue in that best keep valuables in bedrooms where there are key locks , not yales, we found the street door left unlocked, by other occupants/whomever came and tidied , but this is Belgium not London so probably safe enough

- Laura (7/5): - It felt clean and comfortable, there was coffee and a shared kitchen to use. We had the whole house the first night which was nice. It felt weird sharing the second night, but that's the kind of accommodation it was! The top floor with two bedrooms we used for two adults and two children as the 'family deluxe room''. Had to go down two flights of stairs to reach the bathroom. If you only had one of the rooms upstairs I think this would mean sharing the bathroom, but at least we had it to ourselves. We left the car outside in the street and parking was fine, roof box was left on and it was safe etc. Quite a noisy street, but it is one of the main streets going into Ypres square, so not surprising. Lots of building work starting early and also lorries/machinery. Was it a bin lorry? No idea. It's a bit of a strange set up, but it's cheap for a stay in Ypres. Good location for walking into Ypres with everything close by. When we arrived there was no one there to answer the door at number 57, so we just went in and helped ourselves and then knocked again later, that was a little disconcerting. But fine in the end. There was a lot of air freshener smells. The other people who stayed drew the short straw with the bottom bedroom, it smelt a bit fusty and was not as nice as the top bedrooms. I wouldn't have been happy with the bottom bedroom. The top ones were nice.

- William (10/5): Very comfortable accomadation, very close to the town centre. - Very clean. Comfortable. I have no complaints.

- Helen (8/5): Great stay, just a short walk into town so an excellent location. - Location was excellent. Staff were very good and helped with parking etc All the stairs and lack of comfy sofa or chairs in the communal area.
- Maureen (10/5): Good location, comfortable - Staff were very friendly. We had 2 rooms instead of the normal 1 . Very comfortable beds. We were able to make coffee in the kitchen. Only downfall for me personally was that the toilet was 2 flights of stairs down. I use the toilet lots during the night (medically). And there was one blind missing from the room, so lots of light coming into the room. Looked like 2 new blinds were ready to go up, but wasn't up yet for our stay.
- KEN (8/5): -
- Brian (6/5): Cheap and cheerful -
- John (8/5): Convenient and comfortable. - Great location, lovely hosts. Very clean. Blackout curtain was missing its pair.
- Antony (9/5): Last post - Very friendly staff in a good location Nothing
- Andy&sara (3/5): I pride myself in finding nice places,i let my wife down big time with this choice. - The location Where to start, i have left this quite sometime to leave this review to let my feelings settle a little as i really do not like to give poor review but sometimes needs must. The pictures use a lot of artistic licence, we arrived to find there was actually a shared bathroom but were told it was solely for our use, so i wondered what 3 lads were doing wondering around it at 11pm one of which tried our door, this happened 3 times in total, the other times being around 1am and also 7.30am. The bathroom door was also tried in the morning whilst my wife was in there. The electrics tripped out 3 times, not really surprising as there were extension leads plugged into 3 ways with another ext coming out of it into another 3 way and then another ext coming from that also into a 3way. The place itself was like an echo chamber amplifying every door slam and foot step, when the front door was opened it was like dracula,s coffin opening. My wife noticed several hairs in the bathroom and when she wiped the up the toilet roll was black, the bathroom towels would also be relegated for dog use if they were mine. Needless to say we made a very early exit.
- John (10/5): Excellent place to visit Ypres and the surrounding area - Excellent location close to the centre of Ypres, lots of space inside.
- Ahmed (10/5): Very fun. - The whole place is new in terms of cleanliness, comfort and also space, the place was so big that we were allowed to enjoy. The bathroom should be a little closer to the room.
- Simon (8/5): Very good - Clean and close to town centre and train station
Was a very pleasant stay We could hear the guests above moving about
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Duncan (8/5): Nice place to stay - Clean, comfortable, helpful host, nice location, kitchen for the use of guests Builders started work next door very early. The electric did not work on the morning of our stay
- Sal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (6/5): Pleasant - Convenient for last post nice coffee shop 2 doors along fir breakfast
- Adam (7/5): Good - The lady at the venue was friendly and helpful.
Tea coffee and shared kitchen excellent and private bathroom was also great. We weren't advised of building contracts starting at 0700am. Which was not ideal.
- Stuart (8/5): Very good - Very friendly, parking, clean, ideal for a short stay.
- Beverley (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (6/5): Pleasant - Was a good location No hot water
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Terry (8/5): Very good - everything was good except I booked 1 room 3 beds for 3 men got to it and was told 2 rooms 2 beds my 2 friends were not happy snuggled up tongether, it was clean and a great location 2 beds 3 men
- Mark (10/5): Great spot - Lots of space, nicely furnished
