The bed was very comfortable and the view of lake Brienz and the mountains from the room and balcony were stunning. The property is very convenient with just a 5 minute walk to the train station and coop grocery market. Can walk to shops and restaurants on the main road in few minutes. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety and served on the balcony. Marcel and Ann are very kind and helpful. They made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely come back Nothing

• Hermann (10/5): Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Touren durch das wunderschöne Berner Oberland. - Außergewöhnliche Lage etwas abseits vom Ortskern, aber fußläufig dazu, zum Bahnhof und zum Schiffsanleger. Einige Restaurants im Ort, schöne Seepromenade. Privater Parkplatz, kleine Terrasse vor dem Zimmer, Frühstück auf der großen Terrasse darüber. Der Besitzer liest jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab und gibt wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Toller Blick über den Brienzersee, jede Stunde dampft die Rothornbahn die steile Rampe vor dem Haus hoch. Das Zimmer ist nicht besonders groß, wird aber durch den Vorraum mit Tisch, Stühlen und einem Jackenständer um Lagerkapazitäten erweitert. Das Bad ist modern, sauber und ausreichend groß und durch einen kurzen Gang durch die Waschküche erreichbar. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank für Getränke steht zur Verfügung. Nur ein paar Kleinigkeiten: der Schrank ist für längere Aufenthalte ein wenig zu klein und bietet nur geringe Ablagemöglichkeiten. Gut wäre auch eine kleine sensorgesteuerte Nachtleuchte im Vorraum. Wie hier nicht anders machbar, ist der Aufstieg vom Parkplatz zum Zimmer recht steil und anstrengend, besonders nach einem langen Wandertag.

• Nancy (10/5): Beautiful and breathtaking views - It was a lovely area, wonderful host and beautiful scenes. Marcel was so welcoming and came to talk to us every breakfast, he provided me with gluten free bread every day and gave us lots of tips for our travels. He was very sweet and helpful. The scenes from the house were breathtaking and the location was perfect as it was about a 10 minute walk to the train station. The bathroom was not in the room but was no issue whatsoever as we were on a floor that no one was on. I would love to stay at another property of Marcel’s again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful and comfortable stay in Switzerland. Nothing

Breakfast in the morning was perfect, the homemade bread was incredible! The view outside our window was breathtaking We had the best time, thank you so much! No negatives at all, only that our stay came to an end!

The hosts treated us like family members and used to have a nice chat every morning during breakfast. We will definitely miss their warmth and hospitality.Breakfast was simple but fresh and good. There is nothing wrong with this property.

• Eric (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were so friendly! Marcel greeted us at his Driveway! I do not even know how he knew we arrived. But he was there, all smiles, which warmed us up in the cold evening. The room was also so charming with a view that one would not want to leave from. Breakfast was excellent too! Home made bread and jam. So delicious! They also allowed us to play on their piano which was such a beautiful instrument. Marcel even has a handmade harp which he made himself! The stay was too short.
