I was there to run the marathon and they made feel so relaxed and happy pre and post race with their warm hospitality. They even went out of their way to make me a special marathon breakfast super early which I am still very grateful for! Would totally recommend staying here 👌🏽 N/A
• Linna (10/5): A cozy family hotel - Koeketiene Rooms is a great place. It’s located near the central station—close to both the trains and the buses. The hosts are a really nice couple, and the room was more than wonderful—high ceilings, a very comfortable bed, nice decoration. We arrived after 9 p.m. and were greeted warmly; they recommended a place where we could get a beer and a light snack. The breakfast was incredible—try the Eggs Benedict. Wow! I highly recommend this place. Thank you for your hospitality Fran and Maarten.

• Lesley (10/5): This is a really special place 😍 - The rooms are so stylish and comfortable. We had a large front facing room with huge windows and lots of light. The hosts are really friendly and create a welcoming environment, there's also a lovely cafe downstairs with a really chilled vibe. The location was perfect for us being 5 mins from the main train station and about a 15-20 minute walk to the sights. Can't recommend enough, we definitely plan to stay again.

Vriendelijke eigenaren en een super mooie kamer met prachtige ambiance. Locatie is misschien wat verder van het centrum, maar hebben wij niet als onprettig ervaren.

• Basak (10/5): Gönülden tavsiye - Tesis tren istasyonuna 5 dk yürüme mesafesinde ulaşım açısından çok rahat bir noktadan merkezden gelen otobüs ve tramvaylarda bu nedenle 5 dk mesafede, çok temiz ve konforlu. Ev sahipleri çok sıcakkanlı ve misafirperver. Kendilerine teşekkür ederiz. Gittiğimizde kafe kısmı şefin hastalığından dolayı kapalıydı ama bahçesi ve kafe kısmı da çok keyifli duruyordu. Biz üç kişilik odada kaldık, çok geniş ferah ve tertemizdi. Bir daha gelsem bir daha konaklayacağım bir yer. Her şey için teşekkür ederiz. -
• Noelia (10/5): Alojamiento bien ubicado y muy limpio. Totalmente recomendable - Alojamiento muy cerca de la estación central de Gante, apenas a 4 minutos andando. Para ir al centro unos 20-25 minutos caminando o 10 minutos en tranvía. Los anfitriones son muy amables y encantadores. La habitación es enorme , y aunque se ve que el edificio es antiguo, combina con mucho gusto decoración moderna con otra más antigua. El colchón es muy cómodo . El baño totalmente reformado y todo muy limpio. Recomiendo 100% la estancia aquí. Veníamos de haber estado en un hotel horrible en Brujas, y de haber sabido antes que este alojamiento era tan maravilloso, nos hubiéramos alojado aquí todo el tiempo aunque luego nos moviéramos en tren desde Gante para visitar otras ciudades. Únicamente que no tiene ascensor, pero no fue ningún problema.

• Lesley (9/5): Clean, comfortable and welcoming. - Great location close to the main station in Ghent but also down a quiet street. Staff friendly and welcoming. Clean and comfortable room with lovely decor. Nothing! Only improvement I could think of would be to add a set of drawers to the room as we had nowhere to put some items.
• Habers (9/5): Heerlijk bed, fijne douche en super ontbijt! - Fijne communicatie met Fran, de kamer wat schoon, ruim en het bed sliep heerlijk! De douche was fijn en het ontbijt vers en de koffie erg lekker! Het is redelijk gehorig, maar dat krijg je in een ouder pand. Ik had oordopjes mee dus ik heb heerlijk geslapen.
• YOSHINORI (10/5): - はじめてのゲント滞在でした。 ホストはとても親切でしたし、お部屋は広く清潔で、落ち着いた空間が演出されていています。チェックイン・チェックアウトの方法もとてもスムーズで、とても快適に滞在することができました。立地もよく、便利な場所にあります。ベットも寝心地が最高で、素晴らしい滞在となりました。 ちいさい冷蔵庫でもいいので、部屋にあると便利だと思います。
• Kristýna (8/5): Hezky hotylek se super personalem. - Moc mila obsluha a super moznost nechat si veci v lednici. Nas pokoj ani nebyl vyfocen na internetu, byl moc hezky, ale co bylo dost nepohodlné byla koupelna, ktera je velmi mala a mela komplet prosklene dvere bez moznosti jakékoliv zasteny a soukromi. Neumim si predstavit tady bydlet napr. s pritelem a nemit moznost ani maleho soukromi v koupelne.
• xinyi (10/5): - 离火车站不远，挺方便的，老板夫妇人很好，让我们提前入住了，房间也很干净舒适，还有一只可爱的咪咪迎接我们回来，第三天一早就离开了，也很热情的送我们到门口，非常愉快的一次住宿体验。 房间的窗有点关不上，可能是哪里卡住了，本来想找老板来看一下，但是下去看了两次都没人在，不是大问题～
• Tilemachos (9/5): Προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα! - Είναι παλιό αλλά πολύ περιποιημένο οίκημα. Έχει πολύ ωραία ατμόσφαιρα και πραγματικά μπορεί να πετύχεις τα παιδιά του ιδιοκτήτη να παίζουν στη σκάλα, κάτι το οποίο βρίσκω υπέροχο. Εγώ έμεινα πολύ ικανοποιημένος τόσο από το φαγητό στο εστιατόριο όσο και από τα δωμάτια. Προσοχή στο πάρκινγκ στη γύρω περιοχή διότι πλήρωσα 40€ για στάθμευση σε οδό που δεν είχε καμία απαγορευτική πινακίδα. Προφανώς είναι ζώνη στάθμευσης ενώ φαίνεται δωρεάν. Τέλος μην διστάσετε να ρωτήσετε τον ιδιοκτήτη για προτάσεις εστιατορίων, πληροφορίες κλπ. Εμείς φάγαμε σε εστιατόριο της γειτονιάς το καλύτερο γεύμα της ζωής μας, τοπικό πιάτο ribeye. Ελπίζουμε να μπορέσουμε να έρθουμε ξανά κάποια στιγμή! Θα ήθελα μια τηλεόραση στο δωμάτιο και να μπορώ να ρυθμίσω μόνος μου την θερμοκρασία του δωματίου
• Marianna (8/5): - Lokalita je víc než vhodná – pár minut od hlavního nádraží, cesta do hotelu jednoduchá. Pokoj, který jsme měli, nás šokoval – v pozitivním slova smyslu. Jedno z nejoriginálnějších ubytování, ve kterém jsem kdy byla :) . A milí majitelé jako bonus! Jedna jediná věc: wc se skleněnými dveřmi, kam je dost vidět. Myslím, že závěs (podobný, jako je u hlavních dveří do pokoje) postačí a udělá VELKOU službu.

Klein minpuntje: we misten een antislip matje in bad, tevens douche (beetje glad)... maar dat weegt niet op tegen de rest😉

Non c’era l’aria condizionata ma un ventilatore a torre molto rumoroso. Essendoci caldo, abbiamo dovuto lasciare le finestre aperte durante la notte e siamo state punte dalle zanzare.

• Linda (10/5): Home away from home - I was helped by the most friendly and helpful young lady named Fien. She made me feel totally at home and so comfortable. The next morning I had the best coffee and breakfast ever! Very tasty and beautifully presented. Thank you Fien, you are such a special person! And the super friendly talkative kitty kat Taboo made my day 🐈 I must admit I judged the outside front door a little harshly. In my humble opinion it could use a bit of an upgrade or a paint job, just to tone in with the rest of the beauty thats inside. But when that door opened, it was like home away from home!

It’s a bit of a walk to the center, but I enjoyed the walk. It’s near the Gent St. Peter’s station, which was convenient for me. I liked everything.

Missed a fridge and tv though. We even had a small sitting room! Excellent bed. Quiet area. Modernised bathroom with nice soaps etc. Friendly hosts who prepare really top quality and excellent tasting breakfast food. Easy access to station and direct tram to centre. Upmarket neighbourhood. Near art museums. Astrid park. No airconditioning. Will return!

Fran, the owner kindly let me store my luggage for a few hours of Gent visiting. These are just minor things. I didn't ask the pwner about how to turn on the heater and close the windows, so the night was slightly chilly.

Plus, breakfast was superb in their own café! The rooms were large, light and airy with our own separate little sitting room..

We are used to showers having glass doors but for the toilet this was odd. This was fine for a 1-night stay but for longer stays it might be a bit annoying.

The downstairs space with an open kitchen was perfect for breakfast or a coffee break. The place was quiet and peaceful. It's ideally located close to the train station, with cool restaurants nearby and easy tram access to the city center. Highly recommended!
