Jeroen (10/5): Heeft onze verwachtingen aan alle kanten overtroffen - Zeer gastvrij, lekker rustig, we kregen echt het gevoel dat we welkom waren. Ontbijt was perfect, overal werd veel aandacht aan besteed
linda (3/5): Zeer teleurstellend. - ruime kamer en ruime badkamer waar te beginnen! Ik had gemeld dat ik niet om 17u zou arriveren maar wel om 21u vanwege een gigantische file. Ik kreeg koudweg een bericht terug met "dan zijn we er niet". Niks meer, terwijl ik al betaald en geboekt had! Dus stond ik daar s'avonds om 21.15u in het donker voor een gesloten deur. Na meermaals aan te bellen kwam de Heer opendoen en was zeer onbeleefd. Geen welkom, amper 3 woorden gezegd. Vond dit enorm onprofessioneel. Ook de volgende 2 dagen waren we in shock door zijn onbeleefde benadering. Mijn zoon en ik voelde ons niet veilig daar. Wij reizen veel maar dit hebben we nog nooit meegemaakt.
Fabienne (10/5): Beautiful place with large rooms, cozy and friendly :) - Beautiful house in a quiet secluded area with a large well kept garden (pond, little pool, ping pong table) with its own car park big enough for the guests. The rooms were large, well appointed and tastefully decorated. We had exactly what we asked for (2 large rooms, a parental suite and another with 3 individual beds for our teenage daughters) and we were very impressed with the bathrooms (the kids had a double shower and our bathroom was larger than our bedroom at home :), we slept very well and we had a nice rest during our 2 nights there (we went to Belgium to visit Brussels). There are mosquito nets at every windows and the breakfast room/bar is just as welcoming as the rest of the house (with a little salon freely available). Jo and Nicole were very friendly and helpful (we were amazed at their level of English, Jo also speaks Italian as well as Dutch and French). Breakfast was varied and very nice, we really appreciated the bacon and eggs they made especially for us. Very cozy place I highly recommend. Nothing it was perfect.

Katja (10/5): Es war wunderschön! - Es waren drei perfekte Übernachtungen. Die Eigentümer sind sehr herzlich. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind einfach toll. Es war ein superbequemes Bett. Das Frühstück war lecker. Der Garten ist herrlich. Man kann zu Fuß zur Bahn gehen und beispielsweise nach Brüssel fahren. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen.

Very friendly with helpful advice on the local area and the best way to walk to the railway station. The breakfast menu varied each day I was there and afforded me the chance to try breakfast different foods 'out of my comfort zone." Delicious! Other than the weather? (it rained the entire long weekend). There really isn't anything in the town of Herne itself other than the railway station. Still I was only staying there whilst visiting the area for a classic car show, its wasn't so much of a problem.

Mrskinga (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable and clean rooms, everything what you need you can find in the room (hairdryer, towel, small toothbrush, toothpasta, shampoo, body wash gel)/kitchen area (microwave, oven, cutlery, glasses, plates). The room has small fridge, coffee mashine. Delicious and various breakfast (fruit, joghurt, juice etc.), flexible check-in time. Free/half closed parking. The garden is giant and well-cared, pinpong table and set, sun chairs, huge swimming pool with airmatress (you get separate towels for outside as well). Small pond with desk and chairs to enjoy your breakfast/lunch. Also many chairs/desks on the terrase - even if there are many guests, easy to find a separate place. Owners are really nice people!
