- Aleks_Jo (7/5): - We stayed at this place in Rome for a few days. Late check-in was available at no extra cost, which made our arrival much easier. Access via an electronic lock was very convenient. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and it had all the basic amenities needed for a short stay. The layout of the space and the communication about how it is used had a significant impact on our experience. When entering from the building’s shared hallway, you step directly into a space that serves both as a living room and the main entrance. This area is shared between guests and the owner, which was not clear to us beforehand from the listing. It may have been mentioned somewhere, but it was not clearly communicated or obvious to us prior to arrival.
From this shared area, there is access to the guest room on one side, while on the other side there is a door labeled “staff only,” behind which the owner stays. This labeling was confusing, as it did not make it clear that the owner’s living space is directly connected. There is no real sound insulation between these areas, so noise travels easily.
On the first evening, after briefly sitting in the shared space, we received a message asking us to keep quiet, which was unexpected and made us feel less at ease. For the rest of the stay, we felt the need to be very mindful of noise, especially in the evenings.
On the first night, due to uncertainty about the “staff only” door and the sounds coming from behind it, I placed an armchair in front of the door out of concern. After that, we received a rather direct message from the owner, which added to the discomfort.
We also later received a message regarding the tourist tax with a request for payment, even though we had already paid it, which further contributed to some confusion in communication.
Overall, the accommodation offers good basic conditions and a convenient check-in system. However, it is important to note that the entrance and living area are shared with the owner, and the level of privacy is limited due to the layout and lack of sound insulation.”

- Dumitrache (10/5): Perfect for a couple, great location - The room was great, we had all we needed. The location it's near Trastevere train station which it s very facil for traveling to the airport and Vatican. It was also easy to go to the city center with tram 8. We comunicated very well with the host and had the possibility to let our luggage there before check in and after check out. The room it s perfect for a couple, very colorfull and pleaseant. We really recomand it! ☺️

- Alena (10/5): We had an excellent stay - Lovely property. Very well decorated and very clean. It was a room in an artist’s studio. We didn’t get to meet him in person, but we had very good communication. He made sure we had everything we needed. Maurizio is an excellent host. We would definitely stay there again. The property isn’t exactly in a touristy area, but we didn’t see that as a disadvantage at all. It’s a nice area, with plenty of shops, restaurants and transport.
- Abhishek (8/5): Very good -
- Vicente (10/5): Great location, amazing host - I loved the room at this place, it was pretty close to Trastevere station (5 minutes walk). Maurizio was an amazing host and he was sharing specific details of where to go and how to get there. Nothing to do with the property, I loved the property and the AC was working amazing. I just did not like that it was too hot in Rome :)

The owner was extremely helpful and we were happy that we had pretty room and also at all times, we had privacy. The location is in pretty interesting neighborhoods, but that’s not fault of the owner.
- Marina (9/5): Superb - The room style was very original. The accomodation was nice, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed a lot our stay and I would recommend it a lot. We would repeat. The bed pillows were not the best though.
