- Margaret (9/5): An extremely comfortable & charming step back in time - A delightful home away from home! Beautifully presented & well equiped & capturing the elegance of yesteryear but with all mod-cons. Nothing.
- Dureene (9/5): - Excellent communication. Fantastic location. Bed very comfortable. Great facilities. Central heating didn't work, as stated, but the aircon was more than adequate. Would definitely stay again.
- Eric (8/5): We thought this was an interesting place to stay and - A continental breakfast was provided with a choice of cereal and spreads for toast. The room was a converted store on the main street of Yass. This provided a sitting and dining room with an adjoining bedroom.
The fridge was well stocked with milk and bread for toasting. Plunger coffee was also provided.
We thought that being on the main thoroughfare might prove noisy but this was not an issue at all. The bathroom was a little distance from the bedroom
- Adele (10/5): - A wonderfully presented property. Very comfotable

The bathroom is separate from the room, but that is not an issue. The experience is good. The bathroom and all the facilities are clean and well equipped. I liked everything.

- Brian (6/5): Yass bed - Comfortable with good breakfast supplies We were interrupted by the owners without knocking or apology, at night .The toilet was a long way from the bedroom.
- Sharnie (10/5): A great spot! And beautiful attention to detail! - Communication was fantastic, host was polite and generous, and the room was spacious and really beautiful!
We had our dog with us and our stay was very last minute, and even with that our stay was so relaxing.
We had our 4 year old with us and they set up a mattress for him, the location was perfect, all and all a great stay! Nothing not to like, it was a great stay!
- John (3/5): - Bathroom was separated from bedroom via a public kitchen
- François (8/5): Pour une nuit cela convient très bien - Accessible, propre. Je n’avais pas vu qu’on devait partager la douche et wc, par chance il n’y avait pas d’autre personne.
Le bruit de la route et pas d’accès extérieur pour se poser
- Joan (10/5): -
- William (9/5): Very central location. Spacious room. - Very central. Great old building, room was really spacious. Key lock was a little tricky to see/use. Perhaps a sensor light might help?
- Bohan (10/5): -

- Steve (10/5): -
- Jonathon (9/5): - Clean, tidy, excellent amenities, good location Nothing
- Parth (10/5): Lovely and spacious B&B in a convenient location - Loved the period nature of the property. The location was excellent with the Main Street of bars, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets a short walk away. The rooms (you get 2 rooms - a living room and a bedroom) were comfortable, large, and very neat. Access to the shared kitchen and bathroom were also easy and private. Thank you to Shobha and Gareth for your hospitality and generosity. (The breakfast provided was also very welcome)
- Cheryl (10/5): -
- Donna (8/5): Set up so well. A little home away from home feel to it. - Lovely old charm. Modern bathroom. Very comfortable and cosy.
- Leigh (9/5): -
- Patrick (8/5): -
- Serena (10/5): - Loved the open lounge space and then a separate studio style bedroom space. It was spacious for my dog and I as he does not like to be secluded to one small room, so this was perfect.
It was private and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves even though the hosts lived upstairs, it didn't feel like we were sharing a space. The location was great. Walkable to restaurants and bars and parks.
Will definately be staying again! Nothing to think of
- Sue (8/5): -
- Vivi (8/5): Comfortable, good location, friendly - Good location in main street Large spacious rooms
- Darran (10/5): amazing, old world charm and history - Property was lovely, really old,but well looked after, lots of history surrounding the building, shwer was lovely, had everything I needed, the cold water in the fridge was a blessing, quite hot at the moment, easy to access key and parking was right out front. Locals a bit noisy during the night and the through traffic was travelling way faster than 50 km per hour very loud also.
- Marigold (10/5): Great stay - Great location. Large room with plenty of space to relax. Nil
- Joan (10/5): -
- Montgomery (6/5): - It was very clean and had everything required I found it hard with the puppy but that has no reflection on the accommodation
- Susan (9/5): Well worth a visit to Yass and staying in this central BnB. - The historic vibe was evident from the pressed ceilings to the French doors leading to a 100 year old garden. Chocolates by the bed (top quality) and an excellent breakfast in a beautiful town completed the picture. A lack of running water
- Sheelagh (10/5): COMFORTABLE ANND PLEASANT - VERY CENTRAL , OWNERS HOSPITABLE AND HELPFUL.
- Michael (10/5): Convenient, dog friendly and well priced. Great place to stay... - Awesome location, main street of Yass.
- Bernadette (10/5): Last stop on Road trip before Sydney - Fantastic place to stay and discover what Yass and surrounding area has to offer. Huge rooms, yet cost. We stayed with our dog which was a great bonus. Hosts were friendly and it provided all we expected and more. Bedroom is at the back of the property so any worries about main Street noise were unwarranted! It was quiet and we had a great night's sleep. Nothing not to like!
- Chloe (7/5): - Very central location and super cute historic room and house Accommodation is on the main road, and doesn't have much soundproofing so if you're a light sleeper you'll likely be woken at 6am by traffic, so bring earplugs!
- Ring (10/5): A perfect stay in a beautiful and tranquil venue. - The accommodation was charming and historically of great interest. The rooms were wonderfully clean and comfortable. The host was an absolute delight and extremely helpful; and her garden is exceptionally beautiful.
- Duch (8/5): Very comfortable, lovely garden to relax in. - Wonderful Heritage property, located right in the heart of town. The couches were a little low for me.
- Angela (9/5): Really relaxing stay, would definitely stay again - I loved the old style charm, the bed and lounge were really comfortable and breakfast was lovely. Nice plunger coffee and central to restaurants, cafes and shops. Everything was perfect except the floorboards needed a sweep
- Bonita (9/5): My stay was perfect in every way— Clean, beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located. - I loved everything about my stay. The room was spotless, the building was beautiful, and the decor was lovely. All the small extra touches made it feel special—the breakfast, the chocolate by the bed, and the fresh apples. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect with shops and cafés right at my doorstep. Overall, a wonderful stay! N/a
- John (10/5): Perfect for travellers interested in experiencing authentic period properties - A cute period property in a great central location
- Joanne (8/5): -
- Janelle (10/5): -
- Abbey (10/5): - Clean, well laid out and organised. Plenty of instruction which made check in and out a breeze. Very helpful owners and easy to park on the street outside. Great food options, very comfortable bed. Heating instructions need to be updated in the welcome booklet, but that's only a minimal thing.
- Alex (10/5): -
- Jennifer (8/5): -
- Deborah (10/5): Cosy and Comfy - Great position, comfy and great being able to travel with our dog Nothing
- Linda (9/5): Nicely renovated apartment in an old shop. Everything we needed gor a comfortable stay. Lovely back garden to relax in - Sensitively renovated Victorian shopfront Spacious and access to kitchen shared with owners
Breakfast supplies provided in sitting room with fridge microwave etc
Right on Main Street so very convenient but also surprisingly quiet
Lovely garden and secure parking Had to go through main kitchen to get to bathroom however we do do not encounter the owners
- Briellen (10/5): We loved our stay. - Nicely furnished, dressing gowns provided, close to Yass shops, we enjoyed our stay. None
- virginia (8/5): -
- Dominique (9/5): - Clean and tidy. My dogs were unsettled as they have spent their whole lives on a farm (very quiet) so they didn’t like the noise from the street outside. I apologise for them barking.
- patricia (10/5): -
- Brian J (8/5): Great central location - Well located in the heart of Yass CBD, beautiful old building which has been kept to show its heritage, all facilities to make your own breakfast,
- Raymond (10/5): Will definitely stay again. Great hosts. Very helpful when you leave something behind!! - Welcoming historical building. Everything you could need. Lovely garden for our dogs and loved the town of yass Like to have stayed longer
- Kristy (5/5): Don’t use two towels - This is a great little place to stay on my long drive, to and from Melbourne and Northern NSW. I was accused of booking for 1 and having 2 people stay (I was alone) and send an abrupt email about this because they saw both towels had been used and a couple of mugs. I called and spoke to the owner about this as I was really upset about being lectured for his error, and my only reason for travel is because my Mum is very sick in Melbourne and this is my third stay in 11 weeks. I did get an apology, which I appreciate.
- Peter (10/5): -
- Tammie (9/5): -
- Virginie (9/5): Great, historic and comfortable - It is amazing as it has a long history, which is still very visible all throughout. We really liked that. So different from home. It is not everyday that you can stay in a building that started as a shop over 120 years ago! It had everything we needed, and was toasty warm when we arrived after a long 3 hour drive in very bad wet weather. The bed was comfortable, shower hot. We would love to come back one day and not arrive late, or rush out the next morning, but enjoy our stya, sit in the lovely courtyard, etc. As my daughter and I are both tall, we found the lounges quite low and for me (in my 70s) it was hard to stand up.
- George (10/5): Shobha and Gareth were very welcoming and helpful, their BnB was as described, very well kept and comfortable and in an - Shobha and Gareth were very welcoming and helpful, their BnB was as described, very well kept and comfortable and in an excellent position able to walk to all needs. - Seward (7/5): -
- Fletcher (8/5): Lovely hosts offering a comfortable and convenient rest stop. - This property had a lot of character and the hosts were really nice people. I felt very welcome and appreciated the hospitality including breakfast and staples that went down well after a long drive. I’ll stay again in spring.
- melinda (9/5): -
- Kenneth (9/5): -
- Nannette (8/5): comfortable overnight stop.good value for money - comfortable overnight stay while travelling no ensuite
- Mark (8/5): Very comfortable and enjoyable - Old world charm. Separate sitting room to bedroom. Great location Lounge chairs uncomfortable. These days smart tvs with apps are standard. Bathroom is a long way from bedroom
- Michael (8/5): Excellent location, quirky and different, will be staying again.t - Breakfast was simple but fine. Location in the middle of town was excellent. Able have the furries was a big bonus for us. Nothing really.
- Sharee F. (10/5): A super location for a night’s stay, travelling through Yass. Clean, spacious and charming. - At 1st glance from the street, the BnB looks very average, but the location is excellent, right in the heart of Yass. However once we stepped inside (with VERY easy self check in) we were absolutely thrilled. The lamps and heating were on, the interconnecting rooms were very spacious and had old world charm. A full lounge room with large TV and dining table for 4 led through to a large bedroom with wardrobe. The beds were very comfortable, there were chocolates on the bedside table, fresh apples in the bowls and plentiful breakfast supplies in the mini kitchenettes. We had mirror image full apartments. The owners popped down to say hello and we were welcome to use the full kitchen to heat our dinner in the oven. The paved back yard was super cute but too cold for us to take advantage of it. It’s a pity there is no view from the front windows, but totally understandable, given they face onto the busy Main Street so have frosted glass. Both apartments had access to one shared bathroom, accessed by walking through the main kitchen. Totally fine for us because we were family travelling together. I wouldn’t have been keen if there were strangers in the 2nd apartment but maybe it’s never rented out that way.
- Cathy (10/5): Great location and fantastic facilities. Comfy bed and heating. - Fantastic stay. Perfect location, excellent hosts. My go to whenever I stay in Yass. Love it! Nothing
- Janet (10/5): -
- Edwin (9/5): - Very cosy and traditional.
- Anthea (10/5): Lovely boutique style accommodation right in the heart of Yass. Every detail had been considered. -
- Diane (9/5): - Our second stay. We travel with our dog and it has a handy back garden.
- Robert (5/5): -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (8/5): Comfortable and relaxing. - Good selection for breakfast. Enjoyed the food. Bed was comfy. Lovely antique style with plenty of room. Location close to food outlets in the main street and not only a few blocks to EV charging station - a big plus. Bathroom a bit of a walk, but not a drama.
- Gary (8/5): Uneventful and surprisingly warm - Central and pet friendly Toilet facilities through central kitchen and not connected to room
Breakfast items not single serve so possibility of contamination
- Peter (7/5): Good - Spacious rooms, clean neat tidy, and well presented.
Warm thanks to clever heating timers and heated towel rails.
Good facilities and court yard garden.
Pet friendly. Very noisy from traffic due to a busy loaction. Could minimise with double glazing. .
Main street footpath entryfar from ideal.
No off street secure parking.
Spacious bathroom way too far from room.
Dishwasher in shared kitchen full.
- Catherine (10/5): Great BnB in heart of Yass. - Owners were helpful and friendly. Building was beautifully old and very comfortable. It was very well situated in the Main Street but no noise was heard. Close to lovely walking tracks. The hosts had left excellent and generous food choices. A really nice atmosphere.
- Kristy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gordon (7/5): Clean, well presented in an excellent location - Great location, very clean and excellent breakfast options. It was extremely cold after the hydronic heating went off over night. It would also have been good to have electric blankets for our bed
