• CELSO (10/5): Formidável - Annie e Johan são formidáveis, do momento da chegada até a partida fazem de tudo para tornar sua permanência na cidade a melhor possível. O café da manhã é preparado por eles com carinho e delicadeza, fazendo com que você se sinta em casa. O quarto muito confortável, possui tanto aquecedor como ar condicionado, além do frigobar. A hospedagem fica a uma caminhada de 10 minutos do Centro, o que em Bruges, podem ter certeza, é uma bela vantagem, pois você poderá apreciar a beleza singular da cidade.

• Britt (10/5): Prachtig pand op een zeer goede locatie, met een ongelooflijk vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw! - Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer en gastvrouw. Geen enkele moeite is te veel. Zeer uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt. De kamer is van alle comfort voorzien en netjes. De badkamer met bad is ook zeer ruim. Zeker en vast een aanrader voor wie verwend wil worden en een aangenaam verblijf wenst. Niet echt een tegenvaller maar eerder een informatieve opmerking. De kamers bevinden zich op het 2de verdiep. Voor personen die wat slechter ter been zijn zou ik deze accomodatie niet aanraden. De accomodatie bevindt zich in een prachtig pand dat al wel enkele jaren bestaat, dus kleine ouderdoms "ongemakken" zijn aanwezig maar zeker en vast niet storend en heel snel en makkelijk op te lossen.

• Angélique (8/5): Prima uitvalsbasis om Brugge en omgeving te bekijken. - Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Prima uitgebreid ontbijt. Wel als er ook andere gasten zijn zit je met hun aan 1 tafel. Dat moet je geen probleem vinden. Op loopafstand van Brugge centrum ( ong 12 min) En je auto kun je op ongeveer 15 minuten lopen gratis parkeren. Voor onze kamer moesten we wel een paar trappen op, dus al je niet goed ter been bent is dat iets om rekening mee te houden. Douchen in bad is voor oudere mensen iets minder comfortabel.

Johan welcomed us with afternoon tea and provided us with useful tips/ information about Bruges. Breakfast proved was very nice, a great start for the day. The room was lovely, warm and comfortable. The hospitality was second to none. Nothing was ever a problem. When leaving for Brussels Johan assisted in making sure our departure was on time and made a takeaway breakfast. Many thanks Johan for your warm hospitality. Property was perfect for us.

Petit déjeuner super et varié.....œuf au plat, charcuterie, fromages et produits laitiers, jus d'orange frais, différents pains viennoiserie confitures maison etc.... De locatie was top en op loopafstand van het mooie centrum van Brugge. De host was vooraf en tijdens het verblijf goed bereikbaar en zeer behulpzaam met waardevolle tips. De mate van privacy viel tegen en was lager dan verwacht. Daarnaast is het verblijf allesbehalve kindvriendelijk voor kleine kinderen, omdat er overal kwetsbare spullen staan. Als stel is het absoluut aan te raden, maar met een klein kindje wat minder geschikt.

• Bärbel (10/5): Es war eine super Reise nach Brügge mit super Unterkunft und super Stadt.Alles sehr zu empfehlen. - Diese Ferienunterkunft mit Frühstück war das Beste was wir in den letzten Jahren gebucht haben.Die Lage war super das Zimmer und das Bad waren toll.Es hat in der Tat an nichts gefehlt. Johann und Anne waren solche netten und interessanten Gastgeber und abgesehen von den guten Tips, die sie uns gegeben haben, war es eine Freude sich mit Ihnen zu unterhalten.Man merkt auch, dass sie gerne Gastgeber sind und ich möchte mich mit meinem Mann nochmals für die super Betreuung bedanken.Wenn wir nochmals nach Brügge kommen dann nur Elf-Straat 48 bei Johann und Anne.Danke für alles und viele Grüße von Bärbel und Michael Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden

Lui è l'anima della struttura, sembra di andare a trovare uno zio che ti accoglie con in sorriso e con un ottimo italiano! La colazione è veramente buona, con prodotti di qualità e freschissimo Letti comodi. Casa piena di foto, ricordi, e dettagli, è bello perché vivi l'esperienza di essere ospite di una famiglia Belga. Posizione abbastanza centrale, con una passeggiata si arriva in centro facilmente. Prezzo un po' alto per un B&B. Le camere sono al secondo piano, con delle scale abbastanza alte, non lo consiglio per persone anziane, pavimento in legno scricchiolante che potrebbe dare fastidio a chi ha il sonno leggero. La camera è un po' confusionaria, mancano dei ripiani vuoti dove poter appoggiare le proprie cose senza poi confondersi o perderle. Bagno fuori dalla camera, con un sistema di tenda che aiuta alla privacy. L'altro bagno è al piano superiore.

An abnormal small fridge The one in bedroom was odd with the tiniest capacity Less than a small drinks one .The air conditioner was a bulky portable one and we were asked not to use it .The bedroom was full of personal clutter of owners!Every surface had some or more on it! There were many wooden steps up to the bedroom This was difficult for senior s so we had to find another accomodation the next day The facilities advertised gave a false impression.

• Valerie (10/5): A very pleasant place to stay when visiting Brugge. - Great location on a quiet street. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was adjacent and there is a curtain so you can get there without being seen. Breakfasts were very good. AC was available until 10pm but there was a nice breeze so it was comfortable for sleeping. There’s a beautiful garden in the back with flowers, koi pond, and tables and chairs. We used this a lot. City center and restaurants are within walking distance or you can arrange for bikes. No elevator but Johann takes your bags up and down for you so it’s just a matter of climbing the stairs when you come and go.

• Lorraine (9/5): Staircase to bathroom on the upper level - The hosts are lovely and the property is very tasteful and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good and lovingly prepared. Johan very kindly gave me a lift to the station when I departed. Could not have been more helpful. I only have one issue and that is the bathroom upstairs. The steps have a steep incline which can make it challenging which could lead to potential slips or falls. If the staircase could be modified to create a gentler slope I would say the establishment would be perfect.

Johan made lovely breakfasts each morning - and carried our bags up and down 2 flights of stairs! The shower took a bit of adjusting to get the ideal temperature - not a big deal. Everything else was excellent

• Ron (8/5): Very good - The host is very nice. The room is quiet and clean and you get a good breakfast. It's about 15 minutes walk from the center. There is a free parking about 1.5 km from the B&B and called Free peripheral car park - Bevrijdingslaan. The host and I drove our own cars and then he drove me back. After I checked out I walked to the parking and drove back for our luggage. The room is on the third floor(in Belgium they call it the second floor) which is about 30 stairs. The bathroom is private but not inside the room. The TV + the fridge are one floor higher. If you take the second room without the private bathroom, you will have to go one floor up every time.

We greatly appreciated Johan picking us up at the station and giving us a tour round the old city, as well as dropping us back off at the station . We were given a lot of helpful tourist information, as well as good recommendations for restaurants and shops. We had a lovely bathroom adjoining our room, but we would have preferred if the space had allowed for an en-suite one.

• Lindsey (10/5): Lovely B&B with friendly hosts. - Johan was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was very nice, the location was close enough to be convenient but far away enough to be quiet. The bathroom had a horrible smell of sewer gas.

They gave us so many good tips for the stay (where to buy certain things for a good price, where there was good food, what areas were best for certain attractions, etc). They also have a beautiful house and it was very comfortable. Oh and they drove us to a parking space for our rented car and then brought us back! Amazing service honestly. It wasn’t an issue for us at all but the bathroom is on another floor (it is private though). The other room available to book has a bathroom right next door so depending on availability, that can also be possible!

Johan even offered a cooked egg “his way” :). Nice to stay in an actual home in Ghent. Johan and Anne were lovely hosts. Johan was very organized and communicated well before we arrived and shared a lot of info with us once we arrived. So happy we stayed there! We wish them very well! n/a

• Angela (8/5): Good place to stay. A pleasant 20-30 min walk to the centre. - The friendly and helpful owners, Johan and Anne. I was given an interesting and informative driving tour of Bruges on my arrival! Quiet pleasant neighbourhood. Breakfast was wonderful - Kept me going for hours! Johan was good company. We had quite a laugh on several occasions! The shower room was nice with a good shower but not ideal being on the floor above. But perhaps this is reflected in the prices of the rooms?
• Anna (10/5): clean, organised, uniqe, friendly - Johan and Anne were the most wonderful hosts that we had, Johan gave us a lift from the station, he provided us a mini tour of the city pointed out the main attractions of the town, The room was comfortable also it had a very unique design. Even showed some of his photo books from his previous trips. We got a five star breakfast every morning and great chats. If you stay with Johan and Anne you will not just get a place you stay, you will feel like you have been took into their family. Thank you so much! If you wanna stay in Brugge my best recommendation is to stay with his accommodation. 10/10

• Francois (9/5): Excellent! (that was the shortest possible sentence) - Johan and Anne are extremely friendly and willing to help you as much as they possibly can. The bedroom and the bathroom were both large and perfectly clean. The house itself is nice , confortable with a family atmosphere and, last but not least the breakfast was simply excellent with plenty of tasty and fresh food and a large choice of anything you can possibly think of eating for breakfast (with the exception of caviar because it was not the season...) i need to think for several months before being able to come up with a suggestion on what to improve

• Gerard (10/5): Amazing B&B - The host was very friendly and helpful. We travelled with a 1yo kid and they arranged everything for her (crib, chair and cutlery, etc.). Breakfast was amazing. The accommodation is only a 15 min walk from the city centre. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. Free parking is a bit further away.
• Kseniia (8/5): Very good - Great location, 15 minutes walk to the centre, the hosts are friendly and recommended places to visit and things to do in Brugge, delicious breakfast It was a little inconvenient not to have a bathroom in the room, steep stairs on the next floor to the bathroom, with the child a little dangerous
