Guest Reviews
- Guruprasad (9/5): Beautiful place with finely crafted interiors about 1km from the city center. Fully recommend! - Good location, calm, nice interiors Showering area was too small
- Jochen (10/5): - Wunderschöner Garten zum Sitzen abseits des Trubels der Brüggener Innenstadt.
Sehr gutes Frühstück.
- JOHAN (9/5): -
- Ulrich (10/5): - Staying at Lievens is an extraordinary experience for itself :) Very attentive host, delicious homemade marmelades and typical belgium cheese made a perfect breakfast. Walking distance to the city centre and convenient private parking place in front of the house. Definately recommended!
- Dirk (10/5): - Vriendelijkheid en lokatie waren uitstekend. Alles was in orde.
- Burcu (10/5): Unutulmaz bir yeni yıl tatiliydi 💫✨ - Tam bir brugge evi. Nostalji ve konfor biraradaydı. Lokasyon merkeze çok yakındı. Ev sahibi Lieven çok yardımseverdi. Ev geniş ve son derece rahattı
- Christine (10/5): Elegant, cosy, gorgeous garden, welcoming and friendly. - The breakfast was beautiful, served in the garden, a tastefully decorated table, several courses of yoghurt, fruit, croissants and bread with homemade jam, eggs and hot meat as well as cold meat and cheese. Coffee or tea and homemade juice. A highlight of the weekend.
Safe and easy parking, the house is gorgeous and elegantly decorated and Leivan our host was full of recommendations of things to do and where to eat.
- Ianka (10/5): - Fine Fleur is a place to stay.
Lovely new accommodation has been added to an exceptional period house.
The owner was polite and welcoming and full with information we needed during our stay in Brugge.
Thank you so much.
We will come to sta again soon.
- Michael (10/5): Quaint, charming, & clean B&B with awesome owner - The property was very CLEAN. The location was great, few min walk to the village. It was nice to come back to a quiet place after a day hanging out in Brugge during the Christmas season. Very efficient use of the space. The owner was very pleasant and attentive especially when we had changed our itinerary at the last min (requesting an extra day - one day early). He provided us with some good suggestions to start. Having onsite parking was extremely convenient since we needed a car during this trip. Overall, we would went to come back on the summer time for a visit.
- Dominic (9/5): -
- Koen (10/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): Excellent stay and will return - An Excellent stay and convenient for the city centre, breakfast was wonderful
- Domenico (10/5): The best stay ever in a beautiful charming building with an amazing host. Can’t wait to go back. - Amazing and charming with a beautiful lounge area Open fire Lovely garden. Excellent hosts Clean rooms with very comfortable beds and everything you need with nice bakery and deli just a few doors down and nice walk into centre of town. The true Brugge experience from this place Leaving 😃
Alles top! Een echte aanrader!
- Michael (9/5): Unterkunft sehr empfehlenswert… - Sehr persönliche Betreuung, sehr empfehlenswert
Danke!
- Jeet (10/5): Perfect stay - Me and my family stayed here for 2 nights in Bruges and the experience was amazing ! The along with his friends are really nice and helpful. He started with guiding us how we could make the most of this city. The rooms are really nice and clean. Located just 300 meters away from entering the center.
I would come and stay here again, and so should you if you are planning to visit Bruges
- Carolyn (10/5): Absolutely brilliant - Absolutely loved our stay here.
The owners were fabulous, the home was gorgeous and the breakfast package we added was sensational. Love staying at Fine Fleur We had to leave haha
- Matthew (10/5): charming b&b with a very sympathetic host. highly recommended if spending a night or a few nights in Bruges. - everything
- Christine (10/5): This was a peaceful stat in an excellent location. Short walk to the city center. - Beautiful and peaceful grounds - we stayed in the side house with a wall of windows! The breakfast was delicious with homemade jam and with “from the garden” touches. Delicious. There is not a/c but Leiven set us up with a mini cooler and a large rotating fan.
- Mahesh (8/5): Very good -
- Turgay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mihai (10/5): Exceptional - The old house is beautiful, the garden as well.
Perfect location to explore Brugge, very close to city centre, also easy access from the highway.
Car space available inside the courtyard, you need to pay extra but it's extremely useful to have it.
The breakfast is tasty, with local products, and beautifully served.
Family run business, they do it very well, they are extremely helpful and attentive and making you feel like you are at home. :) A bit on the pricier side, but the romantic feeling in the location and the warmth of the hosts compensates..
- Diamantopoulou-charalampopoulou (9/5): Superb - The B&B is in a beautiful old house . The host is really friendly and helpful , making our stay in Brugge a great experience . The location is very good , only a 15 minutes walk from the market square , in a very quiet area. The breakfast is rich and tasty. It is not recommended for people with mobility issues .
- Christian (9/5): Very straight forward - Beautiful property, spacious, good location Creaky floorboards
- Bhadresh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Allan (10/5): Very good, comfortable and excellent host - Perfect Belgium breakfast.
Perfect parking location weather, but that cannot be controlled
- Jessica (10/5): Idas - Beautiful building, family run, helpful, good location for walking into town centre.. lovely breakfast with local produce. We had the 2 bedroom apartment at the top of the house which was perfect with our 2 teenagers and very spacious
- Gaynor (10/5): Very quaint and cosy . Excellent location . The host was very friendly and helpful - Very quaint and cosy . Excellent location . The host was very friendly and helpful Nothing

- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent Belgium breakfast and experience,
And a very friendly, helpful host Nothing, all excellent

- Littleblod77 (9/5): Superb -
- Carly (10/5): Comfortable & welcoming - Authentic breakfast and very filling until dinner time!

Perfect location

- Plamena (8/5): Very good -
- Aykut (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christina (10/5): We were made super welcome! Enjoyed the stay and would always come back. Breakfast was super! - Clean, quirky (in a good sense) and reasonably priced. Close to center (10minute walk) with great and safe parking. Friendly and personal service. Nothing to dislike
- Mike (8/5): Our stay was fabulous. The only downside was loudly chatting neighbours - It was quaint and beautifully decorated but also comfortable We loved it all
- Peter (10/5): An exceptional B&B with a fantastic, helpful owner! - This is a BEAUTIFUL B&B that is maintained to an exceptional standard. The owner, Lieven , clearly takes pride in what was his family home growing up. Rooms are spotless and we loved all the small touches like water in the rooms, local information, a lovely welcome note, dressing gowns and toiletries. There is a huge garden at the rear of the property which is so lovely with fruit trees and areas to sit. We didn’t take breakfast at the property but I believe it would have been delicious. The B&B is the perfect location to explore Brugge with the square about 25 mins walk away. Lieven is extremely helpful in recommending places to visit and going over the map of the area with us. Would definitely recommend a visit to Fine Fleur. This B&B is on the pricier side which we didn’t mind when we saw how beautiful it was however the extra 40 euros for parking 2 cars for 2 days isn’t included in the price. It was good to know the cars were just outside and locked behind the gate so were safe.
- Vladislav (10/5): Very comfortable for family vacation in Brugge - Very comfortable for family, magic place, very pleasant host, free parking, couple of minutes walk to Brugge center, high level of service, we got everything we needed, wonderful atmosphere
- Kirstine (10/5): Fantastic! - We were very satisfied with everything. The place was spotless, beds were very comfortable, breakfast was tasty and the service was fantastic. The house was just a short walk from Bruges city center, and with the map and tips we were given it made exploring the city much easier. All in all we had a wonderful stay at this B&B. Highly recommend!
- Sevastianos (10/5): Very kind owner, great location, good price. Can't ask for more. -
- Surjeet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (10/5): Great place - This place is perfect! Parking. Great breakfast.
- Jessi (10/5): Fine Fleur is a peaceful respite on a gorgeous property with a gracious host. - Our stay was perfect. We loved the room (we had one of the little garden rooms) because it was comfortable, modern, private. Great shower.
Lieven served us a wonderful breakfast each morning, with a variety of yogurt, juice, pastries, meats & cheeses, egg, and dessert. Breakfast was served in the huge garden when the weather was nice, and in the greenhouse when it was rainy.
The location is terrific— very very peaceful, but just steps outside the old city gates. Also just steps away, the forested paths along the outer canal ring are just lovely and you can use them to access other points of entry into the old city. Markt square is only about a 10-15 minute walk. The train station is also about a 10 minute walk. We only planned to stay 2 nights but it became five because we were so content. Our hosts recommended day trips to Lille (France) and the beach— easy and fun. Zero complaints!
- Katya (9/5): Cosy stay - We really liked the location, the beautiful garden and the atmosphere of the place. Small castle like house in walking distance to the center of beautiful Brugge. The host was very welcoming and let us charge our electric car and leave it after checkout.
The apartment was spacious and the beds were comfortable , so we slept very well. The light in toilet worked on sensor and didn’t really recognize shorter persons in our group so we had to jump in order to turn the light on.
The warm water at the shower run out on the morning before the checkout, do one of the persons in our group had to have a cold shower. There is no shelf in shower cabinet, advise to the owners to add some hangable shelf so you can put your soaps and shampoos, instead of having them on the floor.
- Ks (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Absolutely delightful stay at Fine Fleur B&B! - We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our long weekend getaway from the Netherlands. The owner's attention to detail made our experience truly special. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for.
The homemade breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious local ingredients. We especially appreciated the owner's recommendations, like the family-friendly bike rental with a child seat available (perfect for our little one!) to explore the city in a day, and the great Halve Maan brewery with its 4km beer pipeline.
The entire stay was a blast, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend Fine Fleur B&B for anyone seeking a charming, personalized experience in Bruges!
- Mark (10/5): Spacious comfort a stone's throw from old Bruges - Delicious "Dutch" style breakfast with local meats and cheeses
Spacious bedroom and bathroom with spa bath

Lieven is an exceptional host with so much care and detail he , along with his mum made our stay wonderful. We had the top of the castle house to stay in and it was a privilege to stay in such a wonderfully decorated family feel home . The breakfast is utterly amazing.. we highly recommend fine fleur over any chain hotel .. thanks so much:)
- John (10/5): Exceptional service, beautiful house, felt like home. - It’s a beautiful house, the breakfast was very good in the beautiful dinning room. Just 10 minutes walk to the center. The service was exceptional and the room vey nice. They make you feel like home. Highly recommend staying here when in Bruges.
- Adrian (9/5): Superb - Very convenient location to drive to and an easy walk to the centre.
Very friendly and helpful host.
- Liviu (10/5): Best B&B in the city - We liked everything. The B&B was situated near the center, just a short walk. It is an old building very nice inside, with big rooms and quiet. We had an excellent breakfest in the garden prepedred by the host. Also the bathroom was huge, with everything we need.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pearl (9/5): Lovley Hotel bit pricey - The area and staff very good lovley breakfast parking,10 min walk to central bruggs Very expensive to stay here breakfast 18 Euros per person per day and parking extra too 10 euros per day that we didn't realise with taxes extra to 4 euros each per day your looking at 400 euros to stay here for two nights where we could have stayed round the corner for half the price and had cheaper parking and salmon for breakfast
- Ruth (8/5): A week in Bruges sightseeing in the area. - Good location, very willing to provide vegan breakfast. Lieven was so helpful and attentive. Breakfast was lovely. Good to have onsite parking and the room was nice with a private patio. Nothing really but if I had to comment maybe a bin in the room as well as bathroom. More information on recycling and option to keep towels but have cups and bin / sink cleaned more frequently.
- Leo (10/5): top - alles was perfect
- Jarmo (10/5): Strongly recommended. - One of the nicest holiday experiences I have had. We felt at home. Lovely breakfast. Our privacy was respected but we received generous help whenever needed. Would recommend the place without hesitation.
- Gabrielle (9/5): We had a lovely stay at Fine Fleur and enjoyed the historic ambience. - We enjoyed our 2-night stay, a very impromtu booking but this was no problem and the host was super welcoming, attentive and gave us some great tips on where to eat and what to do. Breakfast was lovely and delicious and served in the garden. Our appartment was spotless, with everything we needed and a great view. Luckily also with flywire! The wireless internet was not great (apparently there was a problem at the time). Otherwise, nothing!
- Anubrata (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Read (8/5): Very welcoming hosts in a quiet but fairly central location. - Very friendly hosts and great continental breakfast. Location was quite good too. Would have preferred to be in the main house rather than the annexe, but this is such a minor quip.
- Paul (10/5): Beautiful place and an amazing weekend. - Lovely breakfast. A good range of food with homemade specialities. We were very well looked after. Nothing. All good.
- Hollie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chloe (10/5): Great stay for a city break. - Great location, delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful host.

- Alex (10/5): Great conditions - beautifull old house, great room, and very kind owners, all perfect
- Westbrook (10/5): Perfect perfect prefect. We will be back again with friends. - What a fantastic location. Such a beautiful house and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious too. The bedrooms were comfy and the view into the garden was beautiful too. There was as a beautiful lounge for us to relax in after a full day sightseeing with a lit fire every evening. Thank you for letting us stay in your home and thank you for making us feel so welcome ❤️ Nothing!!
- Lynne (9/5): It got Christmas off to a great start - Ideal location for exploring Bruges, not right in the centre but a pleasant 15 min walk to the main square. Bars and restaurants nearby. Lovely B&B, our room was a good size and very warm (it was -6 outside). Breakfast got the day off to a good start. The shower was a little bit weak but still useable and that can be excused from the age of the property. It would not stop us from staying here again, maybe in the summer to take advantage of the large garden.
- Tony (10/5): amazing hosts beautiful home superb breakfast great location fantastic value for money We will return Thanks - host’s amazing really friendly nothing too much
extra little things at breakfast made the meal special It’s in a great location about 10 min gentle walk to the city centre A beautiful property and real family home feel Bitter cold outside but lovely warm room and wood burner in the lounge was lovely 1 tiny tiny thing - TV in room poorly tuned especially with the World Cup on - but not there to watch TV - it really was NOT an issue overall
- Steven (10/5): The most wonderful host at a really charming house just at the edge of the city. - Our host Leven made our entire trip very special. A kind soul inside and out he welcomed us and sat us down straight away by the open fire to tell us everything about the city he's so proud of.
I noticed immediately that he directed his conversation to Emily my partner - not intentionally either, but just the way he was and it was wondeful to see that.
Leven and his wife were outstandingly charming and despite booking a room at the very last minute, they were ready waiting for us and provided any help we needed during our stay.
Will definitely go back if nothing, just to say hi to Leven again!
- Tereza (10/5): Exceptional - This stay was special thanks to landlord. He was very nice and helpful. We chatted with him every morning during the breakfast about Bruges and things to do and see, he gave us some great tips. Breakfast was excellent. Free parking was close to apartment.
- Nurgul (9/5): owner is fantastic! - Bathroom, living room with fireplace (so good to think) and the room itself are great. I did marathon in Brugge and it was perfect, 15-20 min to Markt and 10min to the train station. I did not use any transport. all fine
- David (10/5): Lovely place to stay - The hosts of the house was amazing and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, location was great 10 minute walk in the Centre , it was a lovely place to stay and I would recommend to others to stay here
- Štefan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evgenii (10/5): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Marvelous stay in the lovely city - It was as wonderful as Brugge is:
+ Exceptional breakfast
+ Very friendly and helpful host (and small doggy)
+ Tidy and cozy
+ The bed was not the best at first sight, but it was really comfortable and we slept well
+ Good water pressure in the shower
+ We were in a separate building with a big window to a terrace and it first I was in doubt if the room would be warm enough, but it was great without a hint of becoming cold
+ Well furnished
+ Excellent Wi-Fi
+ Private parking
+ Easy access to the very old center of the Brugge
+ Fast check-in (even late) and check-out A very little remark:
– Towels are a bit old and rough (but really clean and with a good scent)
- Dogan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (7/5): A good location to explore Bruges. - The property is conveniently located and has an
attractive urban garden. Guests need to pay attention which room they are
booking, as failure to do so may lead to some
disappointment.
