• Anyawi (9/5): Beautiful Room and Super Clean - Beautiful design. The bed, bedsheets, and blanket are high quality, and both the room and bathroom are very clean. The host is kind and helpful, and the location feels safe even when returning to the hotel at night. The corridors are nicely decorated, but unfortunately the lights are not kept on at all times. The lighting is motion-activated, so it only turns on while you are walking in the corridor. This makes the corridor feel a bit dark, especially at night when going to the restroom.

L'appartement est cosy, très accueillant. Je recommande fortement ! Le logement est un peu loin du vieux centre de Milan (compter 40-45 minutes à pied) mais si vous aimez marcher et flaner dans les rues le trajet est agréable !

La chambre se situe dans un immeuble sécurisé. La propriétaire est disponible pour donner des conseils sur les visites à faire! Il s'agit d'une chambre chez l'habitant. Il y en a 2 disponibles dans le logement. L'isolation phonique n'est pas idéale. La cuisine n'est pas à la disposition des occupants en dehors de la propriétaire. La salle de bain mériterait un meilleur éclairage.

• Laura (3/5): Zimmer bei einer Privatperson - Stilvolle Einrichtung und nette Empfehlungen der Gastgeberin. Wir haben etwas anderes erwartet… Es ist kein Hotel, sondern ein Zimmer bei einer Privatperson, die mit in der Wohnung lebt und Raucherin ist. Dies ist aus der Anzeige nicht ausreichend hervorgegangen. Wir haben uns ein Badezimmer mit der Gastgeberin und einem weiteren Gast geteilt. Die Wohnung ist leider recht hellhörig. Eine Klimaanlage ist vorhanden, kostet aber extra. Wir haben uns etwas anderes vorgestellt und haben uns nicht besonders wohlgefühlt. Für Gäste, die kein Problem mit einem Raucherhaushalt und einem WG-Konzept haben, aber zu empfehlen.

• Angela (8/5): Great place, great interior design, great living area around the property in Milan - House of Frames is a great space with an excellent interior design. Reka has an impeccable taste, amenities are included: towels, slippers, water, candy, soap, shampoo and hair conditioner. Wi-Fi connection is high velocity and very good, for my digital nomads out there. The area around the property is excellent, close to a metro station and trolleys. You also have access to good restaurants and places to have a good breakfast. Reka has excellent recommendations according to your taste to visit in Milano. I must add that breakfast is not included, unless a payment is added. Also, during the summer for a small sum of money the air conditioner is added and makes sleep great, I had the opportunity to rest after many days here. It is important to follow the House of Frames rules in order to have a perfect stay without a hitch. Personally, I had unexpected personal things happening and If I come back I would organize my check-out time better.

Quiet though in a central, lively and well connected area. Reka has been accommodating, thank you to her. I'm ok with shared bathrooms and no lift so it did suit me well.

The owner was incredibly nice and approachable, the decoration is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable, the location is quiet and safe and yet very close to all I wanted to access. Especially in the bathroom, only because tea-light atmosphere day and night doesn’t enable me to seeing myself properly.

The house is beautifully decorated and cared for, the room featured the most comfortable bed I encountered during a two week trip to Italy, and the host is a really lovely person! We also loved the neighborhood and were easily access many areas of Milan we wanted to visit. Sharing a bathroom with others isn’t for everyone, but if you’re comfortable sharing a space with others, this is a great option!

Nothing to complain except the fact the building does not have a lift. So heavy luggage traveller like me need to carry their bags till the third floor. However, everything was worth it! Loved it! The room has AC so very comfortable during summer. There is nothing I did not like.

• Bianca (4/5): Disappointing - The decor was lovely, the host was helpful with booking a taxi and preparing a sandwich for our earlier departure. The shared bathroom I wish I had of reviewed earlier as we were not aware but had such a big trip planned did not look into the details for our one night here. As a solo traveller it would be recommended I think as a couple somewhere more private would be nice as we could hear the creeks in the hall way of others using the bathroom early hours as well as we needed to depart early so had to tip toe. Very much like you are sharing someone's home. Made a tea in the evening but I guess we didn't know the kitchen was off limits, the stairs to bring the suit cases you have to be careful of the walls and wearing slippers only in bathroom and not allowed to use the face washes for makeup just alot of rules but the host was nice so depends what kind of stay you are after. I would have stayed closer to Milan Centrale station if planned a trip again as needed to catch a Taxi from station which was not cheap. Of course other options of other trains but Central station was quite big and we got lost trying to find the M2 green train.

The owner was available when we arrived at about 21:30 to let us in and in the morning ro prepare breakfast. It is on the third floor in the old building. No elevator. If you have luggage then be prepared to carry it. Also, this is actually an apartment where the owner lives. She also rented another room to another guest. So, the privacy is limited.

Reka is a wonderful host and she got me some really nice breakfast! Reka stays here herself and gives out the other two rooms. You can always reach out to her for any help, she is more than happy to answer your queries. Won’t really say a con but a good to know info for people - the property is on the 3rd floor and has no lift, very typical of old Italian homes. Also, it’s not really at the heart of the city but is not too far either. The nearest metro station is a good 10 mins walk (around a km) but the house is in a peaceful, residential area.

Breakfast was like your mom prepared for you in the morning 😊 Easily accessible to city center and Navigli district by walk or public transport.
• Anzhelina (9/5): Amazing interior in a great location! - The apartment itself is just as stylish and beautiful as it looks on the pictures! Reka - the host and owner of this place definitely has a great taste in interior design. Overall, we had a really good experience: the room was very cozy, comfortable and clean. It was quiet and great for resting after a long day of exploring Milano. The location is very convenient too - just a few stops (15 minutes) away from Duomo and all the main attractions. We didn’t have any issues with shared bathroom too, as it was always clean and Reka was very accommodating. I would also like to highlight that Reka is really good with communication: she was always fast in replying to our requests, organized earlier check in for us and was really friendly. The only thing we got upset with was that we were not permitted to use the kitchen, which pictures you can find on the page. There was also nothing written in the description about it and I would recommend to remove the kitchen pictures, since it’s not available to use, as we were expecting to cook there, but couldn’t do it. Also, just a note for people that read reviews more than descriptions - Reka (the owner) also lives in this apartment. The flat is big, so there is enough space for all the guests and the owner, however I would compare this place to an Airbnb where you rent just a room (a very stylish one though).

I found the table lamp in my room really cute I had to Google it but it's mad expensive. There is no elevator and it's on the third floor. The place wasn't as bright as in the picture and I didn't see the art work well because it was so dark which was the main reason why I chose the place.

I asked if I could use the eggs in the kitchen, he said, then he said you can't use my eggs, he argued with me. He said you told me I could use my own eggs. but I had asked him about what was in the closet. his english was not good enough. rooms are tiny. Too bad the bathroom is shared. the house is dark. Every time I turned on the hall lights, it went and turned it off. very dark house. A complete disappointment. There is no elevator either. In addition, 3 € per night tax is charged. I stayed 2 nights and took 9 € from me. Took 3€ extra. He said he wouldn't take the egg money, I think he took it too. Weird landlord. Not hospitable.
