• Lucas (9/5): Heel aangenaam verblijf. - Vriendelijkheid, toewijding, locatie, rust en bovenal het bed, nog nooit zo goed geslapen! Helaas was het restaurant tijdens ons verblijf gesloten. Gaan zeker nog een keer terug vanwege het comfort en alsnog een bezoek aan het restaurant te brengen. nvt

Couldn’t fault it at all, the hosts couldn’t be more helpful, made us feel very welcome and at home. The breakfast was amazing, plenty to eat and top quality. Thank you!
• William (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location, very friendly staff. Loved the room and outstanding breakfast. Free parking as well. Very close to the Menin gate and steps away from museums and dining Menin gate was under construction but not there fault.
• Andrew (10/5): A superb B and B, perfectly located, lovely host. Nothing else to add. - The hotel is a French fine dining restaurant with two rooms for hire. It is located five minutes from the Menin Gate and ten minutes walk from the main Grote Markt square. The host was excellent and very friendly. The room was very large and modern, superb bathroom with walk in shower. The was a modern flat screen TV which we didn’t use. Breakfast is superb and the quantity and selection available impressive. The table was laid out for us with cheeses, meats, a basket of breads, croissants, pan au chocolat etc, jams, spreads, fresh orange, yoghurt with fresh fruit. We had tea and chose scrambled egg as well. We arrived by local bus (use the Belgian Delijn bus app) from the station which normally drops you off in the square, then it’s one street along to the hotel, so fine if you are happy pulling a case for ten minutes. If you are in Ieper for the Last Post commemoration at the Menin Gate, it is very close. There is a nice cafe on the corner opposite the gate and an even better bar next to that if you like or want to get familiar with excellent Belgian beers. Overall a top quality place to stay. Nothing from what we requested

• James (10/5): Family run and operated by two of the nicest and most helpful people in Belgium. - An oasis in the center of our action packed vacation. I selected this location for the close proximity to downtown Ypres and Menin Gate. Decouverte is a top quality restaurant with a two room B&B upstairs. Breaakfast was excellent and timely, more food than we could eat. Dinner's Hake fish was wonderfully flakey and hot. Wine was exactly to our liking. The back yard garden was the perfect atmosphere to dine and relax from our very busy days of exploring WWI battlefields, museums and cemeteries. We were there during the record breaking heatwave of July 2022. The room had an air cooler that had difficulty keeping the temperature down. Rather loud for sleeping after our 18 hr flight and the "jet lag" of nine hour difference from Las Vegas. Understandable and only mentioned here to fill in the "didn't like" box of this survey.
