- Nerijus (10/5): -
- Saeed (7/5): It is alright, price too high for what you get, no parking, shared toilet. - Location is very good It didn’t have parking space, you have to reserve the parking space beforehand. Shared toilet with other rooms 🙁

- Martha Cecilia (10/5): exceptional warmth and rest - The location, excellent view, tranquility, and the excellent treatment from the host. Perhaps the only thing is that the restroom is shared, which is specified from the beginning so there was no problem.

- Alistair (10/5): - A beautiful, family-run hostel. Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was great!
Colazione ottima, così come l'accoglienza.

Brugge is leuk. Ontbijt was goed. Gastheer was leuk.
- Kathryn (10/5): Wonderful stay on fairytale Brugge - Loved the building
- ilse (10/5): Voor herhaling vatbaar! - Alles! Alles in overleg.

- Abraham (9/5): Great place to stay in Brugge - The Location, the beds were very comfortable, Luc was very nice and cook very well. Hospitality in general The extra full night charge, for an early check-in, when it was previously informed and agreed.
- Michael (7/5): Sehr gute zentrale Lage, schönes Haus am Kanal, ruhig - Sehr gute zentrale Lage, schönes Haus am Kanal, ruhig -
- Stephanie (10/5): - Sehr netter und freundlicher Empfang, wunderschönes Haus, sehr gut gelegen. Wir empfehlen es auf jedem Fall weiter
- Severine (10/5): - La gentilesse des hôtes, leur disponibilité....

- Flavio (10/5): Beautiful stay in Bruges – spacious rooms, canal views, and a wonderful host - Perfect location in Bruges and an amazing host! Luc is a good man. He was so attentive and friendly, he really made us feel at home. The breakfast he prepared was delicious and one of the highlights of our stay. The rooms were huge, with plenty of space for us and our luggage, and right in front of the canal where we could watch the boats go by. Our daughter especially loved waving to the tourists from our window. He couldn’t do more to make our visit special. Highly recommended! Thank you, Luc!
- Hector (6/5): -

- Aisha (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Ann (8/5): Very good - The accommodation was clean, the owner had a quirky sense of humour, had breakfast ready early No privacy
- Lorraine (8/5): Different to our usual stays, huge family room over looking the canal.super friendly host full of character. Parking on - Beautiful house, spacious and immaculately clean Shared bathrooms . Difficulty for disabled as rooms accessed by spiral wooden staircase - shown in pics
- Avinoam (9/5): Superb - Good location, comfortable beds and rooms Parking is not included. Bathroom and toilet are private but out of the room
- Abby (8/5): Interesting B&B Stay - Beautiful building. Really good location. A lot is lost in translation.
- Elmira (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (10/5): Lovely B&B in Bruges - The warmth of the welcome by the host, the wonderful breakfast Nothing to dislike
- Rick (10/5): Exceptional - Close to the city centre, welcoming host Nothing
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Carl (9/5): lovey family stay - Luv the owner and host is super friendly and helpful. He did everything he could to make the stay pleasant.
The location is excellent,. Close to everything you need.
Full of character. The beds are quite soft to our taste and the bathroom is across the hall from thw family room
It's an old house though so this is understandable.
- Rosario (10/5): Great for a one-night stay :) - Great place to stay if you want the expierence of living in an old classic house from Brugges for a night or two. The house is located right in front of a canal and it is very quiet as it’s close to the centre of the town but not in it.
The house is old so expect noisy floors and, depending on the room you book, a toilet outside your room or a bathroom without a shower. I stayed in the room that has garden view and the bathroom inside the bedroom but that doesn’t have a shower, instead there’s a bathtub which is great for a one-night stay to have the experience.
The kitchen is very nice and the host was very friendly and polite!
On the day I was leaving I was allowed to leave my luggage in the reception of the house and use a bathroom when I came back for it later in the afternoon. I saw in Booking that I could do the check out till 11. When I told the host at 9 am that I would go and walk around the town a but and I would be back before 11 to free the room he told me I needed to leave the room empty now. It was a bummer because I was expecting to have the facilities of the room a bit more but I was denied.
At least he let me leave my lugagge in the house, though it was in the reception of the house, available for anyone to open it or tame if they had wanted to.
One last thing: I didn’t love to find out how much overpriced is the house in Booking compared to the brochures I saw in the house.
- Michael (10/5): Lovely hosts, great location and beautiful place to visit. - The location was perfect, we could walk to all the sights and restaurants. The hosts are lovely and could not do more for us. We would definitely recommend, we went as a family and the kids loved the accommodation. The breakfast was lovely and such a great variety. Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Mozer75 (10/5): Exceptional - This B&B Is lovely, in a beautyful 1700 bulding. The host was fantastic, we made a last minute booking, but when we arrived everything was ready. The breakfast was very good.
- John (10/5): A Perfect stay - Loved it. Genuine. Classic and comfy. Loved it all
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hisham510 (8/5): Very good - Location and hospitality No private bathroom in family rooms and no elevator and no electronic kettle
- David (10/5): Brilliant. Would visit again. - Lovely opportunity to stay in a traditional Brugge house. The owners Luc and Christina were so helpful, friendly and thoughtful. Very well sized and comfortable rooms.
Excellent breakfast and all facilities well catered for.
- Yasmin (9/5): Superb - Very nice and helpful staff. Great location!! Shared bathroom.
Stairs
No AC
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Andrico (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): Convenient Location and Grand House. - Easy walk to the center of Bruges, within old city area. Big, old traditional house with spacious bedrooms. Fabulously helpful and pleasant host, Luc. He provided a very satisfying breakfast. Creaky floorboards (but it is an old house!). No common area; the bedroom is the only place to sit in when relaxing at the house. No shower in the en-suite bathroom - bath only. The other two rooms have bathrooms although one is in the hallway. Parking for only one car so be sure to ask for it. If not available, public enclosed parking is close for €15 for 24 hours (Mar 2024).
- Sylke (7/5): Good -
- Laura-marie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (10/5): Bruges - Very friendly host! Great location!
- Natalie (9/5): Lovely post Christmas stay in Bruges. - Location was excellent and overlooked the canal. Beautiful traditional building with lots of fun and quirky features. Our host Luc was friendly and created a good balance of being attentive and giving us space. We had the family room, which was sizable and comfortable. It was all great. I'd have preferred to have had an ensuite bathroom just because we have 3 young children, resulting in about a million bathroom trips. There were creaky floorboards so I worried about disturbing everyone else! It worked out fine though, but I'll check better next time.
- Ian (10/5): It was a very happy family experience. - The location was a short walk to the Market Square where all the activities took place. Lots of restaurants locally. Breakfast was excellent and atmosphere was very good for adults and children. nothing comes to mind
- Zoe (9/5): A welcoming host and a refreshing night’s stay - The grand historic character home was beautifully set up as a guest house. Our room was airy and spacious for the 3 of us with an ensuite bathroom and shared toilet in the hallway. The home was perfectly located on the picturesque canal (view from our windows) and within close proximity to the old townsite by foot. Our host Luc was welcoming and attuned to our needs. Nothing to report except that the narrow staircase can be challenging for those with mobility issues.
- Ozergkc (10/5): Exceptional - It felt like we are gueats in a nice big home. It was clean, breakfast was very good, and location is very close to main attractions. Room was spacious.
- Chris (10/5): Lovely host, lovely room, lovely location - The location was good and the host was very accommodating. He was very informative. The garage was opened up so we could leave our motorbikes with a good sense of security. The breaksfast was delicious with good options
- Giannnn (10/5): Outstanding location close to city center - The B&B is located very close to the city centre.
The staff, who is the owner of the place, is very friendly and attentive. He treated us in the "old way", preparing breakfast in the morning and helping us with everything.
- Els (9/5): Great location - Excellent location (quiet but still in the middle of the city), friendly host, very clean & large rooms
- Neville (9/5): Superb - Good location, very helpful host. Lovely genuine building.
- Ann (10/5): Lovely host and beautiful property in great location - Beautiful house with spacious rooms. Very close to the centre of the city
- Amy (5/5): Not what we expected - It was located in a quiet sector of the city. The beds were comfortable. As a family of 5 we were able to stay in a large room together. The breakfast was not suitable for hungry children in the morning. There were not enough brotchen. We were not able to have breakfast when we wanted. The room is extremely overpriced. The host was not able to tell us where his favourite local restaurant/ pub was. Just a bit odd overall. We could not park there because our auto was too large.
- Gina (10/5): luc was very friendly and informative , we will be back again - lovely fresh and plenty it was all good
- Dean (6/5): Tired but pleasant property, owner could be a little more engaging and helpful - The location to the centre of everything and the quiet location made for a pleasant and easy walking times to all we did. A portable fan in the room also helped with the heat No shower in the bathroom only a bath tub n a plastic water jug. The staircase to the rooms upstairs, was right next to our room door and as an old unesco home, every late arrival that walked up the stairs woke us up and half the guests who used the shared toilet turned our bedroom light on, as the switch was next to our entry door.
- Silvia (8/5): Very good -
- Judith (10/5): Fantastic day, chose the best day of the year as it was the dance celebration. - Absolutely perfect place to stay, we enjoyed the welcome. He had a parking space for us. The bathroom is massive, the room is spacious.
I have only one negative and it’s not very big, I wanted to wash my hair without having a bath, there was no shower attachment, however, there was a joke provided Nohing
- Joyas (8/5): We’ll definitely comeback here! - The host was very accommodating and the location is accessible to the market and attractions. We also love the breakfast that they served. ♥️
- Nadiya (3/5): Simply bed and breakfast not convinient - Location was great, right in the old center of the city. The building looks very nice from outside with its old historic character Did not expect that the other visitors would be on the same floor. We had our own bedroom and bathroom but the walls are not noise proof at all. Could hear the owners from the ground floor as well as the other visitors from their toilet on the same floor. The floor itself is squicky and one can hear every step. The owner is too insistant on the flow of things. There was a kitchen but we're not allowed to make a cup of tea there-is used for the given breakfast only. The bathtub without shower (without shower handle which is supposed to be there) was something else, too inconvenient. Just for bed and breakfast being close to the center it fulfils it function but for the future we would be looking for other variants
- Charles (10/5): It is in a great location on the north side and is quiet in the evenings. It’s great for a family. - The breakfast was phenomenal. Malcolm was so accommodating and catered to our needs. He was so friendly to our children and made our stay perfect.
- Osama (9/5): Warm, cozy home! Lovely hosts! - Cozy home, close to all main attractions, by the water canal. Wonderful hosts! -
- Yevhen (10/5): It was an outstanding experience that added really much to our expression of Bruges! Must visit place! - It was our first time in UNESCO Heritage building, but you should know that it’s in excellent condition and meets all the modern standards for accommodation.
The host is really incredible!
- Ullas (7/5): Great location, Superb Breakfast and a very friendly host. Be aware of privacy concerns - Great location, right on the canal and with walking distance to everything. Clean room, responsive host, Superb breakfast. Host also gave us some advice on how to spend the time in Brugges. What we got was a big single room with 2 double beds and a single bed. Toilet and Bathroom were at a common place that was also accessed by people staying at other rooms. Wouldnt recommend this setting to families or multiple families that are going together as there is little privacy. Parking was promised at the site when I was booking but host confirmed immediately that there was only one parking and that was booked - so had to park at a public car park and walk. It was probably mentioned but could be made a bit more explicit.
- Alexandr (1/5): Worst experience for 13 years with booking.com - Location Booked same day (with no refund option) because parking was included. Administration replied that it’s subject of confirmation.
Never confirmed that, also when I came to check in, nobody was there and I couldn’t check in with family waiting outside.
Cancelled my booking and requested for refund
Administration disagreed to refund and accused me in lies.
Funniest thing is that Booking.com just points at no refund policy, while it means any property can waive their clients and get the money
If planning to stay here, be aware
- C (10/5): Authentic Belgian Experience in the heart of Brugge - This is a lovely home truly in the heart of Brugge, on a canal. when you wake up very early in a guest room in the front with a canal view, the moon light hitting the canal water reflects on the ceiling in comforting and beautiful patterns. very lolling.
the street was surprisingly quiet for its proximity to the center of Brugge. the owners are delightful and very welcoming- treating guests warmly like family. The homemade breakfasts are in the sunny upstairs kitchen. the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. They are not modern at all and feel as though you are visiting family who have lived there for centuries. a very homey experience. especially since the toilet is in the hall. But, having lived in a tenement in NYC and a group house in London, that did not deter me. There was nothing I didn’t like, but I would suggest that this stay is not for everyone. it is truly a “guesthouse” not of hotel. as such it has all the quirks of an older home. If you are up for an authentic Belgian and Brugge life experience, I recommend. if you need a lot of privacy and luxury/pampering (no judgement as I like that too sometimes), then you should pass and stay at a hotel.
I think this place would be ideal to rent out for a whole family on holiday together.
- Miklós (9/5): Superb -
- Ollie (9/5): Superb - Location, bed comfort, character of building, ease of check in Parking was a little awkward and very tight. The owner seemed a little reserved at first, but was a pleasant fella when we got to know him and he made us a great little brekkie
- Stuart (8/5): Very good -
